Love Allāh جل جلاله by Following the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم

Bismi Llāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm. “Qul in kuntum tuḥibbūna Llāha fa-ttabi‘ūnī yuḥbibkumu Llāhu wa-yaghfir lakum dhunūbakum” (3:31). Ṣadaqa Llāhu l-‘aẓīm. Our Holy Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam says, “If you love Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla, follow my way and Allāh جل جلاله will love you.” The love of Allāh جل جلاله is our wish. Our goal is the love of Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla. It is also the reason why we have gathered here.

Mā shā’a Llāh, people have come from all over the world. May Allāh جل جلاله be
pleased. For the pleasure of Allāh جل جلاله , for the love of Allāh جل جلاله , out of affection
for Allāh جل جلاله , we are walking on the way of our Holy Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم, for this way
is the greatest favour to us. It is the greatest virtue Allāh جل جلاله has given to us. We must make shukr to Allāh جل جلاله, as many people are not aware of it. Even if they know, they don’t care if it is today or any other day. Other days are sometimes more important for people. But the main, important thing is to follow the way of our Holy Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم. To remember him صلى الله عليه وسلم at every chance and occasion, to ask for help from him صلى الله عليه وسلم, to ask for strength from him صلى الله عليه وسلم are necessary things for believers. Other things are not important.

When they are necessary, He جل جلاله gives them. Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla gives to
people whom He جل جلاله loves. As we said, let Allāh جل جلاله love you. It is not important if others love you or not. Some people say, this man said this, that man came or didn’t come, and did or didn’t do something. No need for that. People should mind themselves. They must look at themselves so that they realize what kind of favours they have. If they look at others, they will never be happy. And they won’t attain the pleasure of Allāh جل جلاله, because when you don’t look at what was given by Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla, and look at this world instead, you will be inclined to this world. And if you turn away from Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla, Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla will turn away from you. It will be useless.
Therefore, may Allāh جل جلاله be pleased with you, as you came for the pleasure of
Allāh جل جلاله from so far away. We have all gathered here together. You also
made ziyārah of Mawlānā Shaykh Nāẓim. His barakah comes from the barakah of our Holy Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم and from the barakah of Allāh ‘Azza wa- Jalla. Therefore, those who came here will surely not leave empty-handed. Considering those who say this and that – that this is accepted and that is not accepted – as we said, don’t listen to what they say. Don’t deal with them.

Thanks to Allāh جل جلاله , our way is the beautiful way, the way of light, the way of
our Holy Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم , the way of Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla, the way of Paradise
and happiness, with permission of Allāh جل جلاله. May Allāh جل جلاله make it blessed for
everyone. May Allāh جل جلاله be pleased, because our Holy Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam says, when someone goes to visit his Muslim brother for the pleasure of Allāh جل جلاله, a reward is written, and a sin forgiven, for every step that Muslim takes. And he is raised up one rank. Shukr to Allāh جل جلاله, you made more than one step; there are many people who came from as far as millions of steps away. Therefore, they will take great profit back with them, with permission of Allāh جل جلاله. May Allāh جل جلاله make it last. May He جل جلاله show this way to those who don’t know it, in shā’a Llāh. May they know it too, and benefit from it. This is the benefit.
