Bismi Llāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm

Sayyidinā Ali karrama Allahu wajhahu says, “رَأْسُ الْحِكْمَةِ مَخَافَةُ الله”, “The head of wisdom is fear of Allāh ﷻ.” The pinnacle of everything is fear of Allāh ﷻ. The head of every good deed, every intelligent act, is the fear of Allāh ﷻ, being ashamed before Allāh ﷻ, and not disobeying Allāh ﷻ. He says this is the head of all good things.
What is wisdom? It is the highest thing in Islām, in humanity. Wisdom means being intelligent, using one’s mind for good. When this is not taught, mankind loses its humanity and becomes worse than animals. Shayṭān makes them forget it, he doesn’t want it.
Shayṭān teaches them, “Don’t do that. Don’t fear Allāh ﷻ. Don’t be ashamed before people.” Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla, through His ﷻ Prophets, taught us to be good-natured and good people.
Fearing Allāh ﷻ is the highest goodness. One who fears Allāh ﷻ will not harm or torment anyone. They will only do good. But those who do not fear Allāh ﷻ: we see their situation clearly in front of us. People are devouring each other. This is being done everywhere. Here, they say it’s forbidden to fear Allāh ﷻ.
They say, “Don’t fear Allāh ﷻ.” That’s what they teach. That’s the new learning system. Therefore, the question of why children are like this is clear. There’s no need to say, “He did this, he did that,” etc. You’re not teaching them to fear Allāh ﷻ. You’re saying, “Disobey Allāh ﷻ.” You’re saying, “Don’t do what Allāh ﷻ says.” And then you expect good. Don’t expect it.
The solution is to pay attention to what you teach these children. Teach them the fear of Allāh ﷻ. You teach them from morning till night. What do you teach? Useless things, bad things. “Do whatever Europe says. Don’t believe in Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla. Don’t believe in the Prophet at all. Don’t respect the Awliyā’. Don’t look at good people as good.” That’s what they teach.
There are so many beautiful things to teach. Allāh ﷻ has entrusted them to you; teach them well so that it will be beneficial. It will benefit you, them, and humanity. That is what it means to fear Allāh ﷻ. May Allāh ﷻ protect us. May Allāh ﷻ reform them and us all, in shā’a Llāh. Wa min Allah at-Tawfiq. Al-Fatiha.
There are Qur’ān Khatms, Yasin, ayāt, surahs, tasbihāt, tahlilāt, salawāt, khatms of Dalail al-Khayrāt, and good deeds done; we gift them all to the soul of our Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam, his ﷺ family and companions, all the prophets, saints, pious people, and mashāyikh; for the souls of believing men and women, Muslim men and women; for the arrival of good and the warding off of evil; to be a means for goodness; for happiness here and hereafter in shā’a Llāh. Li-Llahi Ta’āla.
Al-Fatiha.
