Cling onto His ﷺ Way

Bismi Llāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm

May this month of Dhul-Qa’dah be blessed. Today is the first day of Dhul-Qa’dah. Shukr to Allāh ﷻ, those sacred months have begun. They are three months. These months are even more virtuous for the blessed ḥajj season. The divine decree and wisdom of Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla are boundless. Shukr to Allāh ﷻ, may those months be blessed and of barakah for us.

Our Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam had already performed ḥajj once, and that was his ﷺ last ḥajj. He ﷺ showed and taught us everything that should be done during ḥajj. The way of our Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam is the Qur’ān, the way of the Qur’ān. No one can explain the Qur’ān better than him ﷺ.

Now people have come out saying, “We will only read the Qur’ān and follow it.” You wouldn’t even understand what’s going on if you read a newspaper, yet you’re saying you don’t want our Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam. There are many such foolish people. May Allāh ﷻ protect us from these foolish, unwise people who lead others astray.

Therefore, respecting these blessed months is to respect our Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam and to love him ﷺ. Those who are not true, sincere people are striving to lead the nation astray. Shukr to Allāh ﷻ, we love and respect everything our Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam did and everyone he ﷺ loved.

This is our way. This is true īmān, true Islām. Those outside of this, may Allāh ﷻ protect us, are captivated by shayṭān. Therefore, a murshid (guide) is needed, a way is needed; we must cling onto them. May Allāh ﷻ not separate us from this way.

In shā’a Llāh, today we are going to visit our brothers; our brothers in those regions (Europe) we haven’t visited for a long time are waiting for us. May Allāh ﷻ help them too. Because there, by Allāh’s ﷻ wisdom, are some who claim to be “Muslims” but have gone astray. Those there have become a group that does not respect our Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam. For some reason, shayṭān can catch them more easily.

Shayṭān’s tricks are many; may Allāh ﷻ protect us. Therefore, may our brothers there rejoice, and may their numbers increase, in shā’a Llāh. May they not stray from the right way, and may they not fall prey to any of shayṭān’s tricks. May Allāh ﷻ protect us. May Allāh ﷻ help us. May our journey be blessed, in shā’a Llāh. Wa min Allah at-Tawfiq.
