The Secret to becoming a real Mureed
In this Suhbah, Maulana revealed how each human Soul was dressed in the most beautiful of clothings of Servanthood on the Day of Promises, but so many humans have discarded these Robes of Honour in favour of seeking temporary worldly honour, denying their servanthood to their Lord.
Everyone wants to lead, and this has led to the united Ottoman Empire becoming the fragmented array of Muslim nations it is today, each of which ironically ruled by a dictator who has turned his back shamelessly on the Holy Shariah. Divine slaps will rain endlessly on these nations, until they submit and unite under one Sultan.
This dis-unity has spread even to Tariqah followers, who have of late been involved in name-calling and repeated skirmishes, despite all being under the tutelage of one Shaykh. The Prophet (saw) said, “You will not enter Paradise until you have faith, and you will not acquire faith, until you love one another.” If we cannot love one another, how can we be believers, let alone fellow mureeds?
