The Voice from the House of God always tells it as it is.
The Prophetﷺ clenched his fist and struck his chest, saying, “Consult your soul, consult your heart, O Wabisah. Righteousness is what reassures your soul and your heart, and sin is what wavers in your soul and puts tension in your chest, even if people approve it in their judgments again and again.” (Source: Sunan al-Darimi 2575 Grade: Sahih (authentic) according to Al-Haytami)
Abu Tha’laba reported: I said, “O Messenger of Allah, tell me what is lawful and unlawful for me.” The Prophetﷺ, said, “Righteousness is serenity in the soul and peace of mind in the heart. Sin is not serene in the soul and not satisfying to the heart, even if the judge gives you approval.” Source: Musnad Ahmad 17396 Grade: Sahih (authentic)

Whenever you miss Tahajjud prayers, it means you have not been invited for intimate discourse (khalwat) with Allah ﷻ.
Then the mureed must check his words, actions, intentions, deeds, assumptions made, from the previous day – which of those brought a darkness upon us that prevented the invitation from reaching us.
Then repent. And try to get invited again.
And from [part of] the night, pray with it as additional [worship] for you; it is expected that your Lord will resurrect you to a praised station. (Quran, 17:79)
“The Lord descends every night to the lowest heaven when one-third of the night remains and says: ‘Who will call upon Me, that I may answer Him? Who will ask of Me, that I may give him? Who will seek My forgiveness that I may forgive him?’” (Bukhari, Muslim)

1) The blessings and mercy of Allah descends in a gathering of remembrance – not just forgiveness but a gift of having our bad deeds transformed into good ones.
2) Write your wills – it is a step by step visualisation of your passing. And it is a good lesson for you to experience before you actually pass away. A Wasiat is a voice from the grave that reminds your family of the temporary nature of this worldly life.
3) Die to this life, before you actually die. Return to the remembrance of Allah before you are forcibly returned via death. What is keeping you with this dirty life and keeping you away from becoming His beloved?

“It is a month where people tend to neglect, between the months of Rajab and Ramadan. It is a month in which the deeds are raised to the Lord of the worlds, and I like my deeds to be raised while I am fasting.”
(Sunan An-Nasa’i)
The Prophet s.a.w. increased his acts of worship by fasting more compared to other months (other than Ramadan).
Sha’ban is the month when the verse commanding selawat was revealed
As cited by Imam Al-Qastallani and Abu Dzar Al-Harawi, it is in the month of Sha’ban when verse 56 from Surah Al-Ahzab was revealed to the Prophet s.a.w. Scholars, therefore, have constantly reminded us to further increase in sending selawat (prayers) and salutations upon our Prophet s.a.w in light of the verse:
Indeed Allah and His angels bestow their prayers upon the Prophet. O you who believe, bestow prayers and peace upon him in abundance.
(Surah Al-Ahzab, 33:56)
The Qiblah was changed on 15th of Sha’ban
In addition, Al-Imam Ibn Kathir in Al-Bidayah Wan-Nihayah, mentioned the majority of scholars are inclined to the view that the 15th of Sha’ban is also the date when the changing of the Qiblah (direction of prayer) took place.
Masjid Qiblatain where there are 2 qiblahs for muslims
The Qiblah for Muslims in the earlier period of the Prophet’s time was initially facing the Baitul-Maqdis, the holy city where Masjid Al-Aqsa is located until Allah s.w.t. later revealed to His beloved Prophet s.a.w about 2 months after the Hijrah:
“ We have certainly seen the turning of your face, (O Muhammad), toward the heaven, and We will surely turn you to a qiblah with which you will be pleased. So turn your face toward al-Masjid al-Haram. And wherever you (believers) are, turn your faces toward it (in prayer).”
(Surah Al-Baqarah, 2:144)

InSha’Allah we are at the doorstep to welcoming the month of our Holy Prophet ﷺ, Sha’aban Al-Muazzam, TOMORROW (Tuesday) night, in Singapore. In Lefke/Turkey, Sha’aban starts tonight (Monday 20/02).
1) Those who have yet to finish the 30 raka’at Sunnat Rejab, pls do so BY ASAR TOMORROW.
2) Sha’aban is a month that most people neglect. (Hadeeth). So be busy with good deeds especially Selawat, Mawlid, Burdah and fasting.
3) Fast on Mondays and Thursdays (especially first and last Thursdays).
4) Continue doing the istighfar of Rajab.
5) Honour the First Night of Sha’aban by doing a 12 raka’at Sunnat prayer (https://drive.google.com/file/d/1XsliHuSAtwlN16TQTiBQZMRM91tckJUf/view?usp=drivesdk).
6) Honour the middle of the month by fasting and doing the night vigil of Nisful Shaaban (https://drive.google.com/file/d/1bWm-sp_P0VFVx2oo7h300f6C3HC4U4Db/view?usp=drivesdk) – three Yasins and 100 raka’at Sunnat prayer. This night is of paramount importance as its on this night that our rizq and death for the coming year is decided.

❝The Shaykh was speaking to a group of ladies from Turkey & said: This is the seal (pointing to a picture on the wall) that was between the shoulders of our Holy Prophet ﷺ. Hang this on the wall at home. While looking at it, repeat three times: “As Salatu Wa Salamu Alayka ya Rasul Allah. As Salatu Wa Salamu Alayka ya Habib Allah. As Salatu Wa Salamu Alaykam As Sayyidil Awwalina Wal Akhirin.” NO misfortune or harm will come to you.❞
The doa made at Tahajjud is an arrow that does not miss its target.
Anyone with a serious hajat will not miss Tahajjud prayers.
“And from [part of] the night, pray with it as additional [worship] for you; it is expected that your Lordﷻ will resurrect you to a praised station.” (Quran, 17:79)
Those praying tahajjud are raise to the highest Maqams – Maqam Mahmuda…
“And they who pass the night prostrating themselves before their Lordﷻ and standing.” (Quran, 25:64)

Especially in this month of Rejab which is already at its halfway mark – chase closeness to Allahﷻ in the month of Allahﷻ, by making the effort and struggling to wake up for tahajjud prayers.

Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla created people in the most perfect shape. He ﷻ gave us the body as a trust. To maintain it is to make Shukr for the favor of Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla.
They say, “Take good care of yourself”. Mawlana Shaykh Nazim used to joke saying, “I am taking good care”. Taking care means looking after your health, paying attention to what you eat and drink and looking at how you live. You don’t take care by eating and drinking too much. We must give the necessary things to the body. What are they? Whatever is necessary for the health of the body, we must pay attention to that.
Healthiness is not through eating and drinking. Everything has an amount and measure. Our Holy Prophet salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam says one third of the stomach is for food, one third is for water and one third of it must be for air. If you fill it completely, there will be no space for neither water nor air. You will get exhausted then. When the stomach is exhausted, the whole body gets exhausted. Because the whole issue is there. Dieting – Not dieting, but paying attention to your willpower, to what you eat and drink, gives you health and benefit.
You must eat with BismiLlah. There is Adab of eating and drinking. When you sit at the table, you do so with Dua and BismiLlah. First of all, take salt. Taking a little bit of salt in your mouth by dipping your finger in it is Sunnah and beneficial. And after you finish, you do the same. That is healthy and beneficial too. It increases the benefit of food. And by performing the Sunnah, there will be Barakah. It will bring benefit. It will be beneficial both spiritually and physically.
Also, the day is divided into three; eight hours are for rest, eight hours are for work and eight hours are for worship. That strengthens and rejuvenates people’s bodies. People become healthy. These commands are the instructions of Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla. Just like it is written how to use a machine or a tool when you buy it, this is also from Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla for our bodies.
Our bodies can remain strong throughout life. If people behave this way, they can live strong and healthy. Otherwise, if you act according to your own mind, it will break down quickly. When something breaks down, it is difficult to fix it. May Allah ﷻ protect us. May Allah ﷻ give us all a good healthy life full of Iman insha’Allah.

BismiLlahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim. Our Holy Prophet salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam says, “Follow my Sunnah and Sunnah of the Khulafa ar-Rashideen (Rightly Guided Caliphs) who will come after me. They will be guidance and light to you”. The Sunnah of our Holy Prophet ﷺ is every movement and action he ﷺ did. And doing them is Sunnah.
The things people should do are directed from the presence of Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla. And as an instruction, all the things our Holy Prophet salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam does come by the order of Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla. Therefore, imitating those Sunnah and following them is the duty of the Ummah. Everyone should do as much they can.
There is a lot of Sunnah, thousands of Sunnah. As we live in the end of times, people who perform those Sunnah attain Thawab of a Shaheed for each Sunnah. There are Sunnah with the Thawab of one Shaheed, some with Thawab of seven Shaheed and some with Thawab of a hundred Shaheed. They are a profit for us in the end of times.
One of them is Tarawih prayer. Our Holy Prophet salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam had prayed it once or twice in Jama’ah. But then he ﷺ prayed it in his ﷺ holy room, because if he ﷺ prayed it together with others, it would become Fard. If it was Fard, there would be a sin on those who did not perform it. Therefore, it wasn’t always prayed together. It started to be prayed later and completely during the time of Khulafa ar-Rashideen. And it has been prayed ever since.
In the beginning, people could sometimes pray more than twenty Rakā’at, as it was a Nafl prayer. Some people prayed thirty or thirty two Rakā’at. But during the time of Sayyidina ‘Umar, it became twenty Rakā’at. And it has been so ever since until this time. Some people pray four, eight or twelve Rakā’at. Shukr to Allah ﷻ, here and where the Ottomans governed, they used to pray twenty Rakā’at. But in order to confuse people, some people say there is no need to make it that much.
When we were in Damascus, they used to pray twenty Rakā’at. But the Jama’ah would leave after eight or twelve Rakā’at. However, the Imam used to complete it to twenty Rakā’at. They have quit that now and directly pray eight Rakā’at. In countries outside Turkey, especially in Arab countries, they have reduced it to eight Rakā’at. It is not like that in other places. For example, in all the Muslim world apart from Arab countries, they pray twenty Rakā’at. But whatever the wisdom is, they have reduced it to eight Rakā’at. And they keep it as eight Rakā’at.
Normally, the Imam prays twenty Rakā’at, and whoever wants to may leave. But it is not good that the Imam leaves after eight Rakā’at. He makes people perform less Sunnah. Whereas if you earn one more Thawab while you live in Dunya, it would be a profit for you. It is a great treasure and a great blessing for your Akhirah. May Allah ﷻ give us from those blessings too insha’Allah. May He ﷻ increase His ﷻ blessings insha’Allah.
Beware of looking at others and saying that they pray less. Your ego is cheating you. “They know the Qur’an better. They are praying eight Rakā’at. Perhaps, it is a sin to pray twenty Rakā’at”. There is not such a thing. Whoever wants can pray eight or twenty Rakā’at. But don’t obey your ego. Your ego doesn’t wish you goodness. It wants badness for you. The ego is its own enemy. The biggest enemy of the ego is itself. Therefore, if you attain more Thawab in this world while there is a chance, do not ever obey your ego. Don’t be lazy.
Do more of these things for the love of our Holy Prophet ﷺ and for the love of Allah ﷻ so that you are closer to Allah ﷻ. It is said in a Hadith Qudsi; Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla says, “My servants come closer to Me with worship, with Sunnah and Nafl prayers. The more they perform them, the closer they get to Me ﷻ”. Therefore, may Allah ﷻ help us become closer to Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla. May He ﷻ not let us obey our egos insha’Allah.

Our Holy Prophet ﷺ says, كُلُّكُمْ رَاعٍ، وَكُلُّكُمْ مَسْؤولٌ عَنْ رَعِيَّتِهِ “All of you are shepherds and each of you is responsible for his flock.” Each of you is a shepherd, and each of you is responsible for your flock, says our Holy Prophet ﷺ. You are all responsible ones. From the smallest family until the highest position, everyone has a responsibility. Everyone is responsible and everyone must carry out their duties.
How will it be if one does it and the other doesn’t? It will be incomplete. If everyone does it, it will be perfect. If everyone doesn’t do it, it will be totally terrible. People look at each other and say, “He is not doing it. Why would I do it? He is not doing it. I’d better not do it either”. When nobody does it, nothing works then. Therefore, we must be careful. We must look at ourselves. No need to look at others.
What is the order of our Holy Prophet salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam? “One is doing and another is not doing.” If he’s not doing, let him not do it. Is there an order that you shouldn’t do something if others don’t do it? Is there such an instruction? No. When you are ordered something, you must obey that order. Whoever obeys will be in profit. Whoever does not obey, he will be at loss; not anyone else.
When they lose, they start shouting and crying. While you are given a chance, do it. Do as much goodness as you can. Make intention to do as much as you can for yourself, your family, your country, the Ummah, Islam and everyone. Say, “I make intention to do these good things for the pleasure of Allah ﷻ”. And Allah ﷻ will give you according to your intention insha’Allah. You will attain the Thawab and reward for it even if you can’t do it.

There are recited Qur’an Khatms, Surahs, Tasbihat, Salawat, Dalail al-Khayrat. Everything recited by our brothers, the holy Surahs and Ayat and everything Allah ﷻ and our Holy Prophet ﷺ loves; We gift all of them firstly to our Holy Prophet ﷺ, his Ahlu l-Bayt and Sahabah, the souls of all Anbiya, Awliya, Asfiya and Mashayikh, to the souls of all our late relatives. For goodness to come and evil to be gone.

May Shahru Ramadan, the month of Ramadan be Mubarak. It started today insha’Allah. We started Tarawih last night. And today we started fasting, Shukr to Allah ﷻ. May the Barakah of this holy month be upon us. Hardships will be gone insha’Allah with the Barakah of this holy month. May there be relief for people insha’Allah, because big disasters occurred this year.
Everything has a wisdom. No one can go against the will of Allah ﷻ. Everyone has to surrender to fate. He ﷻ takes and He ﷻ gives. He ﷻ creates, He ﷻ takes [in death] and He ﷻ keeps alive. Everything is in the Hand of Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla. Therefore, believers must always submit to Allah ﷻ. “أسلم تسلم”, “Aslim Taslam” – Submit and you will be safe. If you rebel – do so as much as you want, you cannot do anything. Can ants do anything? And people are probably weaker than ants. They say everything is tied by a cotton thread. We are like that.
Therefore, may Allah ﷻ give Barakah in this beautiful month. May Allah ﷻ give safety of Iman to people. May their Iman be safe. As long as Iman is strong, the rest is not important. Because no one can go against the will of Allah ﷻ. You must make Dua so that Allah ﷻ protects you. You cannot attain anything by rebelling against Allah ﷻ. With Dua, Allah ﷻ protects you, He ﷻ guards you, He ﷻ gives you Barakah and victory. He ﷻ gives all kinds of goodness. Otherwise, may Allah ﷻ protect us, you cannot cope with it.
This holy month is the month of repentance. We repent for the sins and mistakes we have made. We worship as much as we can. We ask that Allah ﷻ accepts it. May it be good insha’Allah and full of Barakah. We started this month today. And in a blink of an eye, you will realize that it is over. Therefore, may Allah ﷻ let us spend this month with Barakah and virtue insha’Allah. May it be so upon all the Ummah of Islam insha’Allah.
The world is boiling everywhere in Muslim and non-Muslim countries. There is no comfort in this world. But to those who are together with Allah ﷻ there is peace. May Allah ﷻ give that peace to us insha’Allah. May He ﷻ give us happiness here and hereafter insha’Allah.

Bismi Llāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm: شَهْرُ رَمَضَانَ الَّذِي أُنزِلَ فِيهِ الْقُرْآنُ هُدًى لِّلنَّاسِ وَبَيِّنَاتٍ مِّنَ الْهُدَىٰ وَالْفُرْقَانِ (Qur’ān 02:185). ‘Shahru Ramađāna Al-Ladhī ‘Unzila Fīhi Al-Qur’ānu Hudan Lilnnāsi Wa Bayyinātin Mina Al-Hudá Wa Al-Furqān’, ‘The month of Ramadhan [is that] in which was revealed the Qur’an, a guidance for the people and clear proofs of guidance and criterion.’ Sadaqa Llāhu l-‘Aẓīm.
Tonight insha’Allah the month of Ramadan starts. May it be Mubarak for everyone! It is a month of goodness insha’Allah. It is the month of worship. People see in this holy month how it is to live with worship. They both do their worship and live their normal life. Some think that when you are a [practicing] Muslim or when you pray, it will be hard for you to work. On the contrary, it will be of more Barakah and it will be more beautiful.
Allah ﷻ gave worship as a gift for people themselves. Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla is not in need of your fasting, prayer or worship. He ﷻ is not in need of it at all. You are in need of it. Mankind are in need of doing their worship. If people do it, they get stronger. They get stronger both spiritually and physically.
Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla gave everything in this world for people. In addition to that, He ﷻ gave beautiful orders. Who does them attains happiness in Dunya and Akhirah. His works become better and more beautiful. It becomes conformed with your [cause of] creation. Because Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla says, “I created mankind and Jinn to worship.” ‘وَمَا خَلَقْتُ الْجِنَّ وَالْإِنسَ إِلَّا لِيَعْبُدُونِ’, ‘Wa-ma Khalaqtu l-Insa wal Jinna illa li-Ya’budun’, ‘And I did not create the jinn and mankind except to worship Me.’ (Qur’ān 51:56). They were created to worship. If the person completes it, he will be at peace then. If not, he will wander around limping as a cripple. His life will pass like that and then everything will be hard for him. No matter how good he says he is, this is a great shortcoming. The greatest shortcoming is not doing the worship.
May Allah ﷻ make this month Mubarak! Insha’Allah we will make Khatm Sharif of the Qur’an every day insha’Allah. We will start from today because this year Ramadan is 29 days. Originally, they should sight the moon. But of course it is out of necessity because no one knows from where the moon rises and where it sets. Also, Sha’ban Sharif was 30 days anyways. After 30 days, the first day [of Ramadan] must be tomorrow insha’Allah. The 1st of Ramadan is tomorrow. We will start from tomorrow. As the task of moon sighting is a Sunnah, it is better if they sight it. But sometimes Sha’ban Sharif is 30 days. So tomorrow is the 1st day of Ramadan. May it be Mubarak upon everyone insha’Allah!
As we said, we will start the Qur’an Khatm from today insha’Allah. And tonight insha’Allah there is Tarawih. Tarawih is one of the beauties of the month of Ramadan. People gather and hang out together in Jama’ah. It gives a more beautiful atmosphere. Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla gives Barakah in the Jama’ah and in gathering. May Allah ﷻ make it Mubarak for all of you! May it be means for goodness. May He ﷻ protect us all from these calamities insha’Allah. May He ﷻ give strength to our Iman insha’Allah.

Shukr to Allah ﷻ, this holy month has come to an end. Insha’Allah may Allah ﷻ accept our worship. May we attain His ﷻ pleasure. This is what is important. This month is ending. Today is the last day of fasting in Sha’ban for those who have been fasting Mondays and Thursdays. Insha’Allah we will start Ramadan Sharif on Thursday. It is the last of the three holy months. They say it is the Sultan of the eleven months. Indeed, we are reaching a beautiful month.
There will certainly be a share from the virtue of Allah ﷻ. Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla is sending His ﷻ beauty, virtue, blessing and mercy to people. Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla says to take from it. He ﷻ is sending everyone one by one. Whoever wants takes from it. Whoever doesn’t want doesn’t take; he knows for himself. It is by the wisdom of Allah ﷻ. Anyone willing can take from it. But when they obey their egos and don’t want it, when they think they are important and are arrogant, they are in loss themselves. The ones in profit are those who respect and love Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla.
The mercy gifts He ﷻ sends to people are coming down to earth. Our Holy Prophet salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam says that, and the Mashayikh say so too. They don’t go back up to heavens but remain here. Whoever takes does so. Whoever doesn’t take doesn’t do so. But as they don’t go back up, whoever asks for more, it will be distributed for them. No matter how much there is, it doesn’t go back up with the permission of Allah ﷻ. The virtues and generosity of Allah ﷻ, His ﷻ mercy and blessing are given to whomever asks for them. And they are distributed all over again. If there are six, seven billion people, Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla is giving to all of them. But only a billion of them takes. Most of them don’t want it. And all of them are given to those who ask for it.
Therefore, believers don’t get upset. Believers are always in profit. What’s important is that they guard their Iman. They should love Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla, our Holy Prophet ﷺ, Awliya’ and His ﷻ righteous servants. All kinds of Barakah will come to them through this love. They will have Barakah both here and hereafter. And they will be in profit from all sides. In any case, believers are in profit.
The faithless Kafirs, people who don’t know Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla will never be in profit. Even if they own the whole world, they have no value. Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla says they don’t even have the value of a wing of a mosquito in the presence of Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla. If it had value, Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla would not even give water to Kafirs. What is the value of a mosquito for its wing to have value? Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla is showing a great example to people that Dunya has no worth at all. Therefore, Iman is the most precious thing. May Allah ﷻ make our Iman even stronger insha’Allah. May this coming Ramadan be Mubarak upon all insha’Allah.

Sayyidina ‘Ali (Karam Allahu Wajhahu), the Holy Prophet ﷺ’s son-in-law, spoke of the excellence of the Tarawih prayer, which is a part of the Sunnah of the Holy Prophet ﷺ. He said:
“Whoever prays the Tarawih prayer in the first night of Ramadan, will be made pure and freed of all sin, just as a new- born child.”
And he said, “Whoever prays the Tarawih prayer in the second night of Ramadan, his father and mother will be granted forgiveness, provided they were Muslims.
Whoever prays Tarawih in the third night of Ramadan, an angel will bring him the good tidings from the Divine Throne that he is now purified and that Allah has forgiven him all his sins of the past.
Whoever prays Tarawih in the fourth night of Ramadan, Allah will record for him the rewards of having read all the Holy Scriptures, the Torah, Injil, Zabur and Qur’an.
Whoever prays the Tarawiḥ prayer of the fifth night of Ramadan will be rewarded as if he had prayed in the holy mosque at Jerusalem, the Masjid al-Aqsa, or in Medina.
For the Tarawih prayer of the sixth night of Ramadan a person receives the rewards of having made tawaf of the heavenly house, the bayt al-ma’mur, and all the stones and dust upon the earth will pray and intercede for him.
Whoever prays Tarawih in the seventh night of Ramadan, will receive the reward of having lived in the time of the Prophet Musa, ‘alayhis-salam, and having supported him against Pharaoh.
For the Tarawih prayer of the eighth night of Ramadan, he will be rewarded as the Prophet Ibrahim (‘alayhis-salam) was rewarded by his Lord.
For the Tarawih prayer in the ninth night of Ramadan, he receives the blessings of having prayed together with the Holy Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.
For praying Tarawih in the tenth night of Ramadan, Allah Almighty provides him with all the goodness of this life and the next.
Whoever prays Tarawih during the eleventh night of Ramadan, will be without sin at the time he leaves this world, like a newborn child.
Whoever prays Tarawih in the twelfth night of Ramadan, on the Day of Judgment his face will shine as the moon when it is full.
Whoever prays Tarawih in the thirteenth night of Ramadan will be protected from all evils and devils.
Anyone who prays Tarawih in the fourteenth night of Ramadan, the recording angels will speak in his defense, saying, ‘O Lord, this person has prayed the Tarawih prayer,’ and his trial on the Day of Judgment will be made easy for him.
Whoever prays Tarawiḥ in the fifteenth night of Ramadan, the angels of the Divine Throne and the Divine Court will ask for forgiveness for him.
For one who prays the Tarawih prayer of the sixteenth night of Ramadan the Lord will vouchsafe safety from the fires of Hell and promises to admit him into Paradise.
For the prayer of the seventeenth night, Allah will grant him the rewards of the prophets, peace be upon them.
In the eighteenth night, an angel will call out from on high: ‘Good tidings to you, O servant of Allah! The Lord is well-pleased with you, and also with your parents!’
For praying Tarawih in the nineteenth night, he is dignified by being admitted among the dwellers of the loftiest paradise, the firdaws al-a’la.
For the Tarawih prayer of the twentieth night, Allah will grant him the rewards of the martyrs and the righteous.
In the twenty-first night the Lord erects a paradise mansion for him built of pure light.
Whoever prays Tarawih in the twenty-second night of Ramadan he will be led to the place of Judgment with a joyful heart, untroubled by grief and sorrow.
For the Tarawih prayer of the twenty-third night of Ramadan Allah will reward him with a splendid palace in Paradise.
If he prays Tarawih in the twenty-fourth night of Ramadan, Allah will grant twenty-four of his supplications during this night.
For the Tarawih prayer of the twenty-fifth night of Ramadan, Allah will free him from the punishment of the grave.
Whoever prays Tarawih in the twenty-sixth night of Ramadan will receive the rewards of forty years of prayer.
Whoever prays Tarawih in the twenty-seventh night of Ramadan will pass over the bridge of Sirat with the speed of lightning.
For the prayer of Tarawih in the twenty-eighth night of Ramadan, his rank in Paradise will be elevated a thousandfold.
In the twenty-ninth night of Ramadan Allah Almighty will grant him the rewards of a thousand holy warriors for praying Tarawih.
And in the thirtieth night, the Lord Himself will address him, saying, ‘O My servant, eat of the fruits of Paradise and quench your thirst from its rivers, for I am your Lord God, and you are My beloved servant…””
Once there lived a man named Muhammad who did not pray or fast for eleven months of the year. However, when Ramaḍān came around, he arose and washed himself, put on fresh clothes and perfumed his beard. He would then fast and pray, making up all the prayers of the past year. People asked him why he acted in this way, and he told them, “This month of Ramadan is the month of repentance and forgiveness; it is a month of mercy and special blessings. I trust my Lord to forgive me all my sins in this month, that is why I always pray during Ramadan.”
It so happened that this man Muhammad died one day and after that several of his friends saw him in their dreams. They all asked him, “How have you fared? How has the Lord treated you?” All of them received the same answer in their dreams: “Allah the All-Merciful has forgiven me my sins on account of my having honoured the holy month of Ramadan.”
Sayyidina Anas ibn Malik (Radi Allāhu ‘Anhu) reports that the Holy Prophet said: “Whoever seeks the company of saintly and learned people during the month of Ramadan will receive the reward for the prayers of a whole year for every step towards such an assembly, and on the Day of Judgment he will stand together with me before the Throne of Mercy. And whoever prays all the prayers of this month in congregation, for every rak’a Allah Almighty will grant him a city in Paradise filled with unimaginable delights. Whoever makes his parents pleased with him in Ramadan, Allah Almighty’s Gaze of Mercy rests upon him. And I am his guarantor, he will enter Paradise!”
If a woman’s husband is pleased with her during Ramadan, she will receive the rewards of Maryam, the mother of the Prophet Isa (‘alayhis salām), and of Asya, the wife of Pharaoh.
And if someone looks after the needs of a poor person during Ramadan, Allah will take care of a thousand of his own needs.
Sayyidina Abu Hurayrah (Radi Allāhu ‘Anhu) relates that he heard the Holy Prophet ﷺ say: “If someone lights a lamp in the mosque during Ramadan, Allah will make a light to shine for him in his grave, and He will grant him the reward of all the prayers that were prayed in the mosque in which his light shone. The angels pray for him and the Throne-bearers ask for forgiveness for him as long as his light is burning in the mosque…”

The blessed month of Ramadhan is upon us, and it is incumbent on us mureeds of the Naqshbandi Aliyya tariqah to perform some Awrad in order to welcome the new, holy and blessed month.
In this post, we will introduce you to the Awrad and things to do on this blessed night.
1. At the Adhan of Maghrib
Turn towards the Qiblah, face the sky and recite the Doa of the new moon. The doa of the new moon is shown below:

2. Pray Maghrib and do the maghrib adab
3. Read the poem welcoming Ramadhan
After completing solat maghrib and doing the normal adab of solat maghrib, sit down and recite the welcoming maghrib poem. The poem is shown below.
After reading the poem for welcoming Ramadhan, read suratul Fath (Surah 48 of the Holy Quran). It is encouraged to read this surah 3 times.

Do not forget to read suratul Àlaq (Surah 96) in the first raka of your tarawih prayer. In the first raka’at of terawih tonight, it is encouraged to read the Surah that starts with Iqra’, as it was the first Verse revealed.

The situation of the country, of the Islamic world to be more accurate, is such that they have messed it up. They do things according to their own minds, whereas what Allah ﷻ and our Holy Prophet ﷺ said are things important to Muslims.
And the most important thing is to call the Adhan. Calling the Adhan is for showing the time of prayers. And in every order, there are countless benefits. Allah ﷻ writes so much Thawab to the one who calls it, and those who listen to it get reward along with him too.
Since several years now, the Adhan has been called from one place. There are the Mu’adhins whose duty is calling the Adhan. It is not their fault that they are not carrying out their duty. They received an order for it to be called from a single place and everyone listens all at once. Nevertheless, it is said in a Hadith Sharif that however far a person’s voice can reach when he calls the Adhan, the more Thawab there is. There is so much virtues. Certainly, it is not when called just once by a voice coming from an electric microphone but for wherever the calling with the person’s actual voice can reach. Even with the microphone, that virtue will be attained. But when just one person does it and others don’t, they are deprived from this virtue. And apart from being deprived from this virtue, there is less mercy. When the Adhan is called in more places and called by people one by one, that virtue is different then. And more mercy descends on the country.
This is an important matter. By the wisdom of Allah ﷻ, before getting up for Tahajjud prayer this morning, we saw Mawlana Shaykh Nazim in a dream. He said, “Call the Adhan.” I said, “Allah Allah! How shall I call it!” Then I started calling it. When I reached “Hayya ‘ala as-Salah”, I realized I was saying it aloud in bed.
This order is important for such situations. And the situation of the country is that the country is shaking. They must make Adhan. Every Mu’adhin must call the Adhan. They shouldn’t be lazy putting the microphones on and just lie. Even if the microphone is on in the city centers, the Mu’adhins must make it in their mosques. Insha’Allah mercy will descends on the country then, and Allah ﷻ will protect us. Iman will also increase, because the situation is very bad.
Both adults and youngsters think about nothing but running after their egos. It is because mercy is cut down. The Adhan reaches up to Sidrat al-Muntaha. It reaches the Great Throne. There is a white rooster there which makes Adhan. It always makes it when the times come. In order to reach it, Adhans must be called on earth as well.
These Adhans call people for Allah’s ﷻ order. They call people five times a day to Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla so that they come to the presence of Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla. It is not a simple matter. You cannot say according to your own minds, “Don’t make it. We will press on a button so that it is made all at once.” That is wrong. This can be used, it is ok. But Mu’adhins must call to prayer it in their mosques too. Even if they are not loud enough, Adhan is still important.
Calling the Adhan is from the conditions of Islam to wake up Muslims and to invite Muslims to Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla. May Allah ﷻ protect us from these strange things. May Allah ﷻ protect us from things that seem good but are not good.

It is done so that the reward of it is donated to all people whom you have harmed and sinned against, so that Allah will use the reward to satisfy their claims on the Day of Resurrection if He so Wills.

Our Holy Prophet salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam says that the Halal things are clear and the Haram things are clear. And there are some unclear things between them, says our Holy Prophet salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam. Leaving them is better. Because our Holy Prophet salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam has informed us about all the orders and prohibitions of the religion. But sometimes people fall into doubt. They get confused. Therefore, it is better to leave those doubtful things. As it is doubtful for them, it is better not to do them in order to be on the safe side.
People of old times, old scholars were pious people. They wouldn’t even take the Halal. They were that hard on their egos. They were tolerant with others. But with their own egos, they were hard and never gave what their egos asked for. Mawlana Shaykh Nazim was like this too. He had a lot of tolerance. He was so tolerant that some people misinterpreted it, whereas Mawlana Shaykh Nazim mostly didn’t give his ego what is Halal as well. But he was happy with other people even if they did the lowest thing. In order for people who didn’t pray to start praying, he used to advise them to start from two Rakā’at daily and to increase it later. But he himself would never miss any Sunnah or Nafl prayer.
Therefore, people must do as much as they can. They shouldn’t say “I cannot do”. They certainly can do it. They can do a lot. But the Nafs/ego, Hawa/desires, shaytan and Dunya don’t let them do it. These four enemies don’t like it when you do goodness, perform worship and are a servant of Allah ﷻ. They try to prevent it. Therefore, we should certainly do what we can.
It is said: start from zero. Some people enter wanting to start from the top and do everything to become an Awliya. And then they quit everything completely after a week, a month or two months. That’s not the way. Starting gradually and increasing it as much as you can will be beneficial to you. Doubtful things are like that in Dunya as well. People must be determined. They must be determined in what they want to do. When you have a doubt if it works out or not, your work won’t go well then.
Our Holy Prophet salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam has taught us everything. All his ﷺ beautiful words are beneficial for both Dunya and Akhirah. Don’t say they are of no benefit in Dunya. They are beneficial in Dunya as well. Whoever listens to the holy words of our Holy Prophet ﷺ will be in profit both here and hereafter. May Allah ﷻ not separate us from his ﷺ way and make us successful in performing his ﷺ Sunnah and doing the same of what he ﷺ did insha’Allah.

Tabarakah, Ayat, Tasbihat, Tahlilat, Salawat, Dalail al-Khairat and Hadiths. We gift all of them to our Holy Prophet ﷺ and his Ahlu l-Bayt and Sahabah. We gift them to all Anbiya, Awliya’, Asfiya, to souls of Mujahideen. To souls of our late relatives. May all the good goals of those who have recited be reached. May it be of strength of Iman to those who are here and all of us. Li-Llahi Ta’ala l-Fatiha.

The time and days are passing quickly. Life is going by. The lifespan of this world is coming to an end too. Next week like today insha’Allah, Ramadan is starting. It is a holy month. Insha’Allah it will come with goodness. May it bring goodness to Islam insha’Allah and be the means of guidance for Muslims.
Because people now are – We ask that Allah ﷻ gives them guidance, because people are obeying their egos. They are running after their egos. They don’t think about other things. Something happens every time, but they are not taking lesson. Mankind thinks everything will go on the same. Everything has its time. And time passes quickly. The lifetime of people is known. They must know its value and work for their Akhirah. Only in Akhirah, time is eternal, endless and forever.
The Power and Greatness of Allah ’Azza wa-Jalla are known only to Him ﷻ. But if mankind thinks about it a little, they will realize His ﷻ Greatness. They will know eternity. Because even though everyone dies in this world, they live as if they will never die. Whereas everyone from before is dead and no one has remained. No one is left from the people that were a hundred years ago. They had been thinking like you and us and had never thought of death.
Time is passing. That is why time is a treasure. Don’t waste it. Don’t let it go in vain. These holy days and months are treasures. Certainly, people cannot do everything. They should make intention to do everything and do as much as they can. Allah ﷻ will give them according to their intentions. If their intentions are sincere, they will get their rewards.
Allah ﷻ has ordered to people as much as they can do. If they can’t do more, Allah ﷻ gives reward for that as well. But whoever forgets Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla cannot attain anything. He comes empty-handed but doesn’t go empty-handed. He goes loaded with sins. That is dangerous. It is nothing if he goes empty-handed. But if he goes loaded with sins, it is bad then. May Allah ﷻ protect us.
This is the situation of this world. Everything can happen. Especially as it is the end of times, there is more of everything, more hardship. From all perspectives, wherever you look, there are hardships all over the world. In order to be saved from them; if you are tied to Dunya, those hardships will crush you. If you don’t give them any importance, if you don’t give any importance to Dunya but care about Akhirah, everything will be easy then. May Allah ﷻ not tie our hearts to Dunya. May the love of Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla and our Holy Prophet ﷺ fill our hearts so that we are not sad about Dunya insha’Allah.

Yesterday we read from the blessed Hadiths of our Holy Prophet ﷺ. Hadiths about ablution and prayer. What our Holy Prophet ﷺ told us and the biggest gift from Allah ﷻ that Muslims must do is prayer.
Our Holy Prophet salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam says, “Whoever goes to the mosque to pray in congregation will be forgiven a sin for every step with his left foot and written Thawab for every step with his right foot.” It is so for every step no matter near or far. The more steps are made, the more Thawab is given by Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla. And then our Holy Prophet salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam says, “If they know how rewarding it is to pray Isha’ and Fajr prayer in Jama’ah, people will not only go by walking, they will even crawl”. There is so much virtue and Thawab in them.
Prayer is the pillar of religion. Without prayer, there is no religion. The religion is not complete. Some people say “I make Tasbihat and all”. Even if you make Tasbihat throughout your whole life, it is not as valuable as one prayer. It doesn’t have the same value as a Fard prayer. That is why you must pay attention to prayer.
Prayer is the door to every goodness; goodness in this world and goodness in Akhirah. The Dua of people who don’t pray is not accepted. Their work doesn’t go well. Mawlana Shaykh Nazim used to say even if Awliya make Dua, Dua made for someone who doesn’t pray is not accepted. So along with making Dua, we must pray. He used to say “Don’t pass a day without prayer”. The more you do, the more benefit there is. They say “We can’t do it”. They should do little by little until they get used to it. Little or many, the benefit comes to people only that way.
The whole world is in distress now. The key to removing those troubles is prayer. They must certainly pray. And they will make up what they have missed later insha’Allah. May Allah ﷻ not leave us in the hands of shaytan. May He ﷻ not leave us in the hands our egos.
The shaytan and ego make people so lazy that they run after other things. And they show praying as very difficult even though it is not that difficult. They show it as if it is impossible to do. Allah Azza wa-Jalla doesn’t order something that people cannot do. Prayer is the food of the soul. It is the head of everything. Therefore, may Allah ﷻ accept our prayers. May Allah ﷻ let everyone taste have this taste of worship insha’Allah.

Our Holy Prophet ﷺ used to say to the Sahabah, “You have to carry out the orders of Islam 100%. If you do 99%, your Iman will weaken. In the end of times, an Ummah will come that if they do even 1%, that will save their Iman”.
The time we are living in – Allah ﷻ showed mercy according to each time. Because the time of our Holy Prophet salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam was the best time. As they were together with our Holy Prophet ﷺ, they had to do everything without even one shortcoming so that Iman and Islam reach this time. Otherwise, if they did less since the beginning, nothing would remain until now.
That is from the mercy. People of the end of times say, “I cannot do it”. Yet, even if little, they must do it. If they leave it completely – They shouldn’t reach zero [in actions]. They must at least do something. They must carry out an order of Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla so that they are saved. There is the intercession and mercy of our Holy Prophet ﷺ in it. That is the means of salvation for the Ummah. Even if 1%, don’t leave it. It is for the benefit of the Ummah and the benefit of people.
It is getting worse with each passing day. Even those who are Muslim are distancing themselves away from the way shown by our Holy Prophet ﷺ. They are doing things according to their own minds. They are speaking ill of everyone, speaking ill of all Muslims, speaking ill of believers. They say they are wrong. Whereas the greatest, most important thing is that as long as they are Muslim and have Iman, all of them attain the mercy of Allah ﷻ.
The 1% that our Holy Prophet salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam told about is that even if someone makes Shahadah, that will save him. But they are not letting them do that. They’re even saying to those who are Muslim, “You are not Muslim”. When they say so, their own Iman is put in danger. When someone calls a Muslim Kafir, he is in danger, and his deeds go in vain. Therefore, the 1% that our Holy Prophet salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam told about will save people insha’Allah even if it is the most minimal thing.
The Mercy of Allah ﷻ is enormous. Don’t lose hope in Allah’s ﷻ Mercy. May Allah ﷻ give us Iman so that we can do more. Because there are the four enemies: Nafs/ego, Dunya, Hawa/desire and shaytan. These four enemies have become stronger now. It is more difficult. Therefore, we should do as much as we can. And may Allah ﷻ let us do even more insha’Allah.

Our Holy Prophet salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam has described the time we are living in. Prophethood – “Nubuwwah” means informing about the future events. There are 124,000 Anbiya; Prophets who are “Nabi”. “Rasul” means the Messenger who was sent down heavenly books. They are 313 Messengers.
Our Holy Prophet ﷺ is both Nabi and Rasul. And he ﷺ is the last one. Our Holy Prophet salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam has informed about everything in this world until Qiyamah. And he ﷺ also informed about Akhirah, what will happen and how it will happen. The Day of Resurrection, questioning and the account, the balance and scales, hell and paradise; our Holy Prophet salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam has informed about everything.
Insha’Allah those who believe in this reach safety. They reach safety in this world insha’Allah, and they will reach safety in Akhirah. What’s important is that we accept the holy words of our Holy Prophet salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam, pay attention to them and follow his ﷺ way in order to reach safety.
This world and time we are living in is a very difficult time as they have described it. You will reach safety only by guarding your Iman. You cannot attain anything by expecting support and help from this and that. Because this is the order of Allah ﷻ. These things have to happen. What’s important here is the safety of Iman. May Allah ﷻ give Iman to all of us. It will be easy then. Everything will be easy with it. Without Iman, everything is difficult.
No one sees any fault in himself. They love their egos and put their egos above everyone and everything else. That is not the way of our Holy Prophet ﷺ. His ﷺ way is to believe in Allah ﷻ and train your ego. May Allah ﷻ help us. These days are a profit insha’Allah. The more hardship there is, the more Thawab it has and the more people’s ranks increase in the sight of Allah ﷻ. May Allah ﷻ protect our Iman insha’Allah.

Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla created us in the best shape, Shukr to Allah ﷻ. Only believers appreciate this. Non-believers are fed up with their lives. They don’t like their lives. It is because they don’t know why they were created. As they don’t know their Creator, their lives are bad and their end is bad. Their Akhirah will also be bad. Believers should make Shukr to Allah ﷻ and be happy. They should be at ease, for He ﷻ created them in such a shape.
There are Muslim creatures and children are certainly [born] Muslim. Their families change them later. However, there are those who became Muslim later. They have attained a great blessing. An actual Muslim must appreciate it so that Allah ﷻ is pleased with him. When Allah ﷻ is pleased with someone, all his work is successful. His life is good, and his Akhirah will be good. But those who don’t recognize Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla and try to imitate others, people who don’t count the favors that Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla gives us and don’t accept them may go without Iman like the rest. May Allah ﷻ protect us.
Those who are born Muslim but follow others’ words and favor others will be just like them when they later pass away to Akhirah. Don’t think that you will be saved by saying, “I am this and that”. The saved ones will be those who are on the way of Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla and who accept Allah ﷻ. The rest have no benefit in this world, and they have a great loss in Akhirah.
Allah ﷻ loves the grateful ones. He ﷻ loves the appreciative ones. Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla loves them and people are usually also like that. If a person appreciates it when you give him something, you will be happy too. But if he says “What is this!” and doesn’t accept it, certainly, you won’t give him anything again. You will not engage with him.
Therefore, we must make Shukr to Allah ﷻ. We must never forget this blessing. We must always keep it in our mind and heart. We should always have the Dhikr of Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla in our hearts. We should have the love of Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla, the love of our Holy Prophet ﷺ and the love of Awliya in our hearts so that our hearts are not filled with other things.
When the heart is filled with other things, it is useless. That has no benefit. If you put the whole world in your heart, that will bring no benefit. You must put the love of Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla and the love of our Holy Prophet ﷺ in your heart so that you have benefit. May Allah ﷻ give that love to our hearts. May He ﷻ give Iman and light to our hearts insha’Allah.

What’s important is that our people attain the pleasure of Allah ﷻ. The pleasure of Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla is important, and the pleasure of people is not important. Because the way of Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla is one. The ways of people are millions and billions. If you want to make everyone happy, you cannot make anyone happy. As long as Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla is pleased, the rest are not important.
Those who are on the way of Allah ﷻ should be pleased and happy with you. That is what is important. Don’t tire yourself in order to make others happy. They will be pleased with you for an hour, and then they won’t like you again and ask for something else. You will do things they ask for in order to look good in their eyes, but then they will ask for other things. They will ask for useless things, harmful things, bad things from you.
If you are involved with them once, you can’t get out of it. Therefore, don’t pay attention to them. What is to be paid attention is the pleasure of Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla. Things against the pleasure of Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla won’t bring any benefit to you. They will bring harm and badness. Your service to others has no limits. You following them has no limits. They will take you up to hell and they won’t be happy; you won’t be able to get out of it.
Now something worse has occurred for all common people. As if that is not enough, shaytan’s tools – Mawlana Shaykh Nazim used to say in old times regarding the television that it is a shaytan box. Now there are even worse things. As soon as you enter them, they enslave you and make you do whatever they want.
This applies to a part of people. But otherwise, as all people have left the way of Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla, they think, “How should I please them? How will they be happy with us?” They turn you into educated monkeys, like people of old times used to say, by telling you to do this and that. And you run around to do that. You will not have an atom size of benefit. They will harm you. And it won’t bring benefit to them as well. It will bring benefit only to shaytan. Those who are on the way of shaytan are useless and harmful people.
As we said, our goal insha’Allah is the pleasure of Allah ﷻ. We don’t need the pleasure of those who are against the pleasure of Allah ﷻ. May Allah ﷻ protect us from their evil. People who love Allah ﷻ put themselves and their egos on His ﷻ way. The ego is good then. Otherwise, who put their egos on the pleasure of others, their egos will destroy them. May Allah ﷻ protect us. May Allah ﷻ protect us from their evil insha’Allah.

Today is the day of Jum’ah. It is a day with a blessed night as well. It was given as a gift by Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla to our Holy Prophet ﷺ and Muslims. This night and day is among the days when Duas are accepted. Blessed days are gifts of Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla that suit the glory of our Holy Prophet ﷺ.
Today is Jum’ah. Our Holy Prophet salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam says it is the Sultan of days regarding Jum’ah. There is an hour of response on this day. The Dua that coincides with this hour is accepted. Dua is the weapon of a believer. With Dua, he wins and attains victory, he attains all kinds of favors. We should make Dua every time. And we should make it more today, on Jum’ah, so that it coincides with the hour of response.
Humanity is living through a difficult time. However, nothing is difficult for Muslims and believers. Because Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla gives more favors for those difficulties. He ﷻ grants more. There is benefit in everything for Muslims. They don’t live in vain. Those who live in vain are people without Iman and non-Muslim people; because they are running only after Dunya. They don’t think about anything but Dunya. They don’t think about Akhirah.
But unfortunately, Muslims are following them too. Oftentimes, they are cheated by Dunya and forget Akhirah. We must not forget, because the reason of our existence is to honor Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla, to worship Him ﷻ and to carry out His ﷻ orders. He ﷻ gives all favors to us. He ﷻ has already given us in Dunya. And in order to be given in Akhirah, to have favors there, we must not forget Him ﷻ. Honoring Him ﷻ, honoring our Holy Prophet ﷺ, honoring His ﷻ orders is our duty. May Allah ﷻ grant this to all of us. May He ﷻ not separate us from the right way, and may He ﷻ guide the others insha’Allah.

We make Dua Al-Qunut every day at the end of Fajr prayer. Dua Al-Qunut is recited for difficult days. Therefore, as we are living in the end of times, as every day and every time is always dangerous and difficult, it is something recited in that danger. And beautiful things are said in it.
BismiLlahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim.
“إِنَّهُ لاَ يَذِلُّ مَنْ وَالَيْتَ”,
“Innahu La Yadhillu Man Waalayt”, “Indeed he is not humiliated whom You have befriended” – “Whoever is with You will not be disgraced”. He will never be disgraced in the presence of Allah.
“وَلاَ يَعِزُّ مَنْ عَادَيْتَ”,
“Wala Ya’izzu Man Aa’dayt”, “And none whom You have taken as an enemy shall taste glory” – “And whoever is Your enemy will never be Aziz.” Aziz meaning an important and worthy person.
A man who is an enemy to Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla has no worth at all. A man who is an enemy to Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla is always disgraced and worthless. He has nothing. We must know this. And we must act accordingly. Don’t value enemies of Allah ﷻ. They cannot be given value. If Allah ﷻ doesn’t value them, you should not value them either. You should not respect them. The ones you should respect are the people beloved by Allah ﷻ. Be with people who are together with Allah ﷻ. You will be Aziz then.
Those who are against Him ﷻ are always in contempt and vileness. They are vile people. They are worthless people. Don’t be with them. Stay away from them. Run away from them. There are some Hadiths which say just like people run away from fire, run away from such people like that, from people who taking Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla as an enemy. Because darkness descends upon them, and affliction descends. And that will splash to those near them. All their misfortune will pass to you. They are unfortunate people. Don’t be with them. Don’t show respect to them.
If you want to respect someone, respect the friends of Allah ﷻ, honor those who are together with Allah ﷻ. Value them so that your value increases too. If you are with bad ones, you will lose your value too. Whatever punishment and affliction comes to them, it will come to you as well. May Allah ﷻ protect you. May Allah ﷻ protect us all insha’Allah from their evil.

Bismi Llāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm: فَفِرُّوا إِلَى اللَّهِ (Qur’ān 51:50). ‘Fafirrū ilāLlāh’, ‘So flee to Allah.’ Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla is saying, “Where should you run? You should run to Allah ﷻ”. There is no other place to run. It is the same both here and hereafter. Whoever is on the way of Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla, he will turn to Him ﷻ.
People don’t know what to do now, whether they should go to one place or another. They are thinking on it. But Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla has shown it anyways. Run to Allah ﷻ, turn to Allah ﷻ. There is nowhere else to run. “يَا مَنْ لَا مَلْجَأَ مِنهُ إِلَّا إِلَيْهِ”, “Ya Man La Malja’a Min’hu illa ‘Ilayh”, “O He Who there is no refuge from except to Him” There is nowhere else to run except to Him ﷻ. The place of refuge is Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla.
This is great good tidings for believers. Even though they are frustrated, there is a true place for them. Their destination place is the mercy and benevolence of Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla, His ﷻ blessing and beauty. These are for believers.
Unbelievers who make corruption and want to spread their Kufr to others can go to shaytan. They seek refuge in shaytan. And they are together with shaytan. This is the punishment for those who mislead people and take their Iman away. They will never be saved from fear, worry and sadness.
Those who will be saved are those who seek refuge in Allah ﷻ. They will be saved with the permission of Allah ﷻ. Their hearts will be at rest. They will be at rest, and they will be in peace. Therefore, making Dua to Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla, repenting and asking for forgiveness and mercy from Allah ﷻ is the place of refuge for believers. That is the best place.
Listening to the words of others who say, “This one did this. If only that was like that”, that is not important. What’s important is that you train yourself and your ego. If you train your ego, you will be saved and happy. You will be on the way of Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla. Allah ﷻ will accept you. Allah ﷻ will take you under His ﷻ mercy. You will have got in the best place.
Otherwise, we see that shaytans are going wilder instead of coming to senses. They are becoming worse. Those who listen to them will be just like them. There will be no peace. There will be fear and hopelessness. So be on the way of Allah ﷻ, and you will reach safety both here and hereafter. May Allah ﷻ not separate us from that way insha’Allah. And may He ﷻ guide the rest. May Allah ﷻ protect us from their evil.

Bismi Llāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm:
أَلَا بِذِكْرِ اللَّهِ تَطْمَئِنُّ الْقُلُوبُ
“A-lā bi-dhikri llāhi taṭmainnu l-qulūb”, “Verily, in the remembrance of Allah do hearts find rest.” (Qur’ān 13:28). “!بَلَى يَا الله”, “Bala ya Allah!”, “Yes O Allah!” Contentment of the heart comes with the remembrance and Dhikr of Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla. It can’t be otherwise.
Shukr to Allah ﷻ, we celebrated last night. May its Barakah give light and contentment to our hearts insha’Allah. Because people’s hearts are always busy. When they are busy, there is unrest in all people. They are looking for peace by saying, “Where and what should we do?” And people are usually choosing various bad ways in order to find contentment and feel at peace. That makes them even worse. Just like you pour petrol and diesel on fire, and it flames more, that causes more unrest. Badness and sins never bring peace. What bring peace is making Dhikr of Allah ﷻ, remembering Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla and carrying out His ﷻ orders. The more you do, the more Allah ﷻ is pleased with you. He ﷻ gives contentment and light to your hearts.
There is a Hadith Qudsi: “My servant approaches Me with worship. The closer he gets, the more I come close to him.” The more you approach Allah ﷻ, the closer Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla is to you. “If you are a span close, I am closer a cubit. If you are a cubit close, I am closer a fathom.” No matter how close you are, even if little, Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla gives much more of it.
Therefore, no need to look for other ways. Never forget Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla to attain peace. Always remember and make Dhikr so that your hearts are filled with light, filled with Iman and peace insha’Allah.

(Qur’ān 39:10). ‘Innamā Yuwaffá s-Sābirūna ‘Ajrahum Bighayri Ĥisāb’, ‘Indeed, the patient will be given their reward without account.’ When someone does goodness, Allah ﷻ writes ten Thawab for him. Sometimes, during these holy months and days, it is a hundred or seven hundred. But to those who are patient Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla gives without measure.
Shaytan doesn’t like this. He wants to make their patience in vain. May Allah ﷻ protect us; when something happens, when a disaster occurs, Allah ﷻ rewards those who are patient without measure. There is nothing else to do then anyway. Something has happened to people; may Allah ﷻ protect us. Even if they are patient or not, it has already happened. It is something that has occurred. It won’t change. It cannot change.
Therefore, they should be patient to see its benefit. Through patience, Allah ﷻ will give them their rewards. And He ﷻ will give them consolation. If you are not patient, you will lose this reward here. You will have rebelled. And with this grief, people will perish. Therefore, patience is the best thing in disasters and calamities. There is nothing else to do anyway. You cannot attain anything by rebelling. You will ruin yourself and be gone. And that will be in vain.
Patience is a favor given by Allah ﷻ to believers and Muslims. We see that shaytan doesn’t like this favor. All his soldiers and those who love shaytan are attacking. People are in misery anyway. And as if that is not enough for people, the followers of shaytan are enemies to humanity. What they want is for people to be worse, to lose and not to be in profit. They have already lost their relatives, houses and places. May Allah ﷻ protect us. And so that they don’t get their rewards, they are not leaving anything as much as they can.
Human shaytans have become worse than shaytan himself. May Allah ﷻ protect us from their evil. And their evil will be inverted upon them. Who sows evil cannot get anything but evil. They think they are doing goodness. In order to earn two pennies, they are ready to ruin everything. May Allah ﷻ protect us from their evil. Don’t obey them. Those who hear and see – everything comes from Allah ﷻ. Allah ﷻ will reward us without measure. It is the promise of Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla.
He ﷻ gives patience to people in this world. He ﷻ helps the patient ones. And their suffering gets lighter with the permission of Allah ﷻ.This is without a doubt. Those who are not patient will be in loss. And they will live in this world all the time with grief. May Allah ﷻ give Iman to all of us. May He ﷻ give strength to our Iman. May we not listen to shaytans.

(Qur’an 44:3-4) “Fī Laylatin Mubārakatin ۚ ‘Innā Kunnā Mundhirīn (3) Fīhā Yufraqu Kullu ‘Amrin Ĥakīm (4)”, “In a blessed night. Indeed, We were to warn [mankind] (3) On that night is made distinct every precise matter (4)” Regarding tonight [Laylatu l-Bara’ah], Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla is saying in Qur’an ‘Azimu sh-Shan about the value and meaning of this night. Tonight is a holy night. What will happen in a year for everyone will be written one by one on this night. It is written.
We should spend this holy night with Dua. There is also a 100 Rakā’at prayer. In addition to that, you can pray Salatu t-Tasabih. We will do that insha’Allah. Those who are not in Jama’ah can do it on their own. It doesn’t have to be in Jama’ah. There are people who say it cannot be done in Jama’ah. But Jama’ah is better. It is nicer to celebrate this night in a community. Allah ﷻ loves Jama’ah.
Certainly, as it had different meanings in old times, some scholars say there shouldn’t be Jama’ah. But the more people gather for the pleasure of Allah ﷻ now, the more benefit there is. “يَدُ اللَّهِ مَعَ الْجَمَاعَةِ”, “Allah’s ﷻ Hand of Power is upon the the community.” [Hadith]. Allah’s ﷻ Hand of Power is with Jama’ah, with the community.
On this holy night, the Rizq, death, deeds; everything that will happen in a year is written. If a person will reach another year or not, whatever will happen, whatever the will of Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla is, wherever there will be a war, flood or earthquake; all of this will be written tonight a year in advance. Therefore, even though it is written in the presence of Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla, He ﷻ can change whatever He ﷻ wants and do whatever He ﷻ wants.
There is Yasin that is to be read three times tonight between Maghrib and Isha’. They are recited with these intentions: a long good life, asking for Halal Rizq and good deeds to make our Iman steadfast. There is a certain Dua. This Dua is recited after each Yasin between Maghrib and Isha’. If there is evil, it will be changed to goodness insha’Allah.
Allah ﷻ is capable of everything. We cannot interfere in the wisdom and work of Allah ﷻ. Our Holy Prophet salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam has told us about it. And it is beneficial for us to follow him ﷺ and do this. Everything is in Allah’s ﷻ Hand of Power. He ﷻ can protect you if He ﷻ wants. He ﷻ can delay if He ﷻ wants. Everything is in His ﷻ Hand.
People’s mind cannot comprehend anything. And it cannot comprehend the wisdom of Allah ﷻ at all. Therefore, just follow what is said, follow the way shown by our Holy Prophet salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam. You will be at ease and in safety. The actual safety is the safety of Akhirah. Insha’Allah we will reach safety by being steadfast and will always be in safety insha’Allah, we will be on the way of Allah ﷻ.
May it be blessed upon you. There are a few holy nights in a year; and tonight is one of these holy nights. May Allah ﷻ make it good and full of Barakah. Insha’Allah may it be a means for goodness. May there be safety. May there be victory to Islam insha’Allah. May Mahdi ‘alayhi s-salam whom we are waiting for come insha’Allah.

Bismi Llāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm: سَخَّرَ لَكُم مَّا فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ وَٱلْفُلْكَ تَجْرِى فِى ٱلْبَحْرِ (Qur’ān 22:65). ‘Sakh-khara Lakum Mā Fī Al-‘Arđi Wa Al-Fulka Tajrī Fī Al-Baĥri’, ‘Allah has subjected to you whatever is on the earth and the ships which run through the sea.’ Sadaqa Llāhu l-‘Aẓīm.
Allah ﷻ made everything subjected to mankind. Subjected to them means that He ﷻ created them to benefit from them. He ﷻ made everything underwater, on earth and in air under our command so that we know His ﷻ Greatness and Magnificence and make Shukr to Him ﷻ. Everything is for mankind. Allah ﷻ granted everything to mankind so that people know Him ﷻ.
In old times, there were tools and instruments. People used to do work with their hands and power. Later, they invented more things. Certainly, with the order and permission of Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla everything has its time. As years passed, people lost their control and started using cars, planes and ships more. They benefitted more from them. They got more comfort.
But in the meantime, they saw this and thought they are great. They said, “I am doing this” and forgot the Creator. When they forgot the Creator, these things became not benefit but burden to you. They became bad.
Therefore, we should make Shukr to Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla for everything He ﷻ gives us. And everything can be used for goodness and evil. We should try to use the things given by Allah ﷻ for goodness. We should use them for goodness, not to harm people. We should use them not to forget Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla and our Holy Prophet ﷺ but to remember them. They will be of benefit to you then.
Otherwise, even if you own the whole world and everything is under your command, if all machines and tools are under your command, that will bring no benefit. You won’t be using them but they will be using you then. When you forget Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla, none of them has any benefit. If you use just one of them and know the Greatness of Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla, you will have benefitted from it and attained the pleasure of Allah ﷻ.
These things of this world are for this world and for Akhirah. They are used for both here and hereafter. Allah ﷻ is capable of everything. People get amazed by how advanced things can be. That is nothing. That is not even a dot in front of the Greatness of Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla. All these sciences and knowledge are not even a dot. Therefore, don’t be amazed by these tools and instruments. Look and see the Greatness of Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla. May Allah ﷻ give us all understanding. May He ﷻ not separate us from the right way and give strength to our Iman.

The best of people are our Holy Prophet ﷺ, the Prophets, then the Sahabah and Awliya. Their attributes are beautiful. We should imitate their attributes. We should do what they used to do. Among their beautiful attributes are being good with people, not forgetting goodness. When goodness is done, they don’t forget it. They forget the badness but don’t forget the goodness. These are their attributes.
But people are doing the complete opposite. They forget the goodness and don’t forget the badness. They don’t forget others’ mistakes and wrongdoings. Therefore, they are always restless and can’t be satisfied.
If they imitate good people, everyone will be at rest. There will be no problems. They will become beloved servants of Allah ﷻ. When you imitate beloved servants of Allah ﷻ, you become like them. You become a person loved by Allah ﷻ.
Otherwise, those who are not on their way are restless. They become people disliked by Allah ﷻ. Because Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla says in Qur’an ‘Azimu sh-Shan, ‘وَيَسْعَوْنَ فِي الْأَرْضِ فَسَادًا’, ‘Wa Yas’awna Fī Al-‘Arđi Fasādāan’, ‘And strive upon earth [to cause] corruption.’ (Qur’ān 05:33). These people walk on earth striving to cause corruption and evil. They try to cause Fitnah and badness, they try to cause unrest going from one place to another. They are people disliked by Allah ﷻ.
Imitate the beloved people so that you are at rest. Because those who want to do this and that to people with enmity and hatred inside them are restless. Neither sleeping, nor waking up brings rest to them. Neither eating, nor drinking brings ease. Those people agonize themselves and harm themselves by themselves.
Therefore, don’t forget goodness. When someone does goodness, make goodness in return. When you do goodness, many people are like our Holy Prophet salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam said – “Guard yourself against people whom you did goodness to.” Because people are inclined more towards shaytan. So when goodness is done, that person who had been good then becomes an enemy to you and does evil.
Therefore, we shouldn’t be like that. Be good and you will see its benefit both here and hereafter. May Allah ﷻ make us all from the people who don’t forget goodness. May He ﷻ make us resemble His ﷻ beloved servants insha’Allah. Wa min Allah at-Tawfiq. Al-Fatiha.
There are recited Qur’an Khatms, Yasin Sharif, Ayat and Surahs, Tasbihat, Tahlilat and Salawat. There are recited Dalail al-Khayrat and Khatms. We gift all of them firstly to great soul of our Holy Prophet ﷺ, his Ahlu l-Bayt and Sahabah, the souls of all Prophets and souls of our Mashayikh, especially our Shaykh Mawlana Shaykh Nazim and Hajjah Anne, souls of all our late relatives. May all good goals of those who have recited be reached. May they be happy here and hereafter. May it reach all souls of Muslimin and Muslimat.

(Qur’ān 78:27-28). ‘Innahum Kānū Lā Yarjūna Ĥisābāan (27) Wa Kadh-dhabū Bi’āyātinā Kidh-dhābāan’, ‘Indeed, they were not expecting an account (27) And denied Our verses with [emphatic] denial.’ Sadaqa Llāhu l-‘Aẓīm. Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla is saying some people think they won’t be questioned on Judgment Day. They are denying everything Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla says. They deserve hell.
Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla is Arhamu r-Rahimeen (The Most Merciful). No matter how much mankind commits sins, as long as they repent and ask for forgiveness, He ﷻ forgives them. Those who don’t repent and ask for forgiveness get their own punishment. There is a chance in this world to be saved. While people are breathing and before their last breath, they may repent and ask for forgiveness. They can be saved. But if they are stubborn and say “I don’t accept this. I don’t believe in anything”, they have given their own punishment then.
Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla doesn’t oppress anyone. He ﷻ doesn’t harm anyone. People oppress and harm themselves. People by themselves are oppressing and harming themselves. They oppress others as well. Many people are oppressive. When they have a chance, they oppress everyone, especially themselves. The biggest oppression is the one people make to themselves. Therefore, committing suicide is a big sin, because Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla is not happy when people oppress themselves. And the biggest oppression is to stay in hell forever.
Even though Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla has shown all proof and Ayat, they don’t accept that. And then to be saved – There is not such a thing. They don’t even wish to be saved. If they ask to be saved, they will have believed. They don’t have any belief at all. Those who are full of themselves, who like their own ideas and don’t accept other things won’t be saved. Therefore, people should turn to Allah ﷻ while there is a chance.
Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla sent Prophets to people. He ﷻ sent all kinds of proof that say, “This life is not eternal. There is a next life” to be prepared for it. But they say, “There is not such a thing. It is a lie”. So they will be questioned on Judgment Day. They will be astonished and say, “We didn’t accept it. Now it happened to us.” May Allah ﷻ protect us.
People who see these incidents and things that people cannot overcome but don’t believe and oppress themselves. All their lives are wasted. They are wasted forever. They say “forever” here, that people will live forever in this world. They will live forever but in another place. May Allah ﷻ protect us. May Allah ﷻ not separate us from the right way.

Mawlana Shaykh Nazim had a beautiful saying in his last days: “يَوْمٌ جَديد، رِزْقٌ جَديد”, “Yawmun Jadeed, Rizqun Jadeed.” What does it mean? A new day, a new Rizq/provision. If Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla gives life every day, there is a new day. And provision is new on that day. Everything is the way Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla destined it to be.
People have yesterday and today. Allah ﷻ knows about tomorrow. So when they reach tomorrow, a new day starts and a new page opens. The things to be done on that page, the provision given by Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla on that day, all of them are new then. The charity, goodness and worship to be performed; all of them are written on that new page. When that day is over and if there is another day, it is new again.
“يَوْمٌ جَديد، رِزْقٌ جَديد”, “Yawmun Jadeed, Rizqun Jadeed” is in everything. Your food and drinks, goodness and charity you will make, the breath you will take; all of them are given anew to people. Therefore, when a new day comes, people should evaluate it. And it is good to be the way Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla wants. It will be good and beneficial.
Otherwise, people don’t realize what is new or old. They don’t appreciate it. They don’t know what to do and how to do. Days pass and they think all of them are the same. No, they are not the same. Every day there is a new day, there is new provision. Everything is new. We should make Shukr to Allah ﷻ. We must know this. This is the wisdom of this beautiful saying of Mawlana Shaykh Nazim. A day is new – “يَوْمٌ جَديد، رِزْقٌ جَديد”, “Yawmun Jadeed, Rizqun Jadeed.” He used to say it to make Shukr. And he said it more often in his last days. We always heard it.
Certainly, we cannot appreciate the things he knew and appreciated as much as him. So do people. People are not appreciating anything. They don’t care about the new or the old, the day or the provision. They are forgetting about Ar-Razzaq. They are forgetting the One who gives new days and new provision. They are living in heedlessness. May Allah ﷻ protect us. May Allah ﷻ give us alertness so that we appreciate our days and provision. May we make Shukr every day for reaching it safely. May it be a beautiful day insha’Allah. May we live with Iman, Islam and Rizq insha’Allah.

Our Holy Prophet salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam says that Muslims are like one body. Just like a person has pain somewhere in his body or something happens to it and his whole body gets effected feeling and suffering from pain, the Ummah and Muslims are one. Therefore, whenever something happens somewhere and all Muslims hear about it, they get upset and can help. To help as much as they can is ordered by our Holy Prophet ﷺ.
Shukr to Allah ﷻ, because of the latest disasters and calamities, Muslims have helped from everywhere. Despite being poor themselves, they made intention to help as much as they could and they did so, Shukr to Allah ﷻ. Even if it was little, Allah ﷻ will reward them with big rewards. As their intentions were good, Allah ﷻ gives according to people’s intentions.
When Sayyidina Ibrahim ‘alayhi s-salam was thrown in fire, an ant brought water in its mouth. “What are you doing?” “I want to extinguish it”. Whereas, they had made fire as big as a mountain. It was impossible to come close to it. And people could get burnt from afar. But this ant brought water in its mouth. They asked, “What is it?” It said, “I came in order to extinguish it”.
That ant is in paradise. Animals in this world will not go to paradise. But there are some of them who will. And this ant is among them. There is such a great reward. What is that it did? But as a reward for its intention, Allah ﷻ put it in paradise. So whoever helps Islam and Muslims, there are great rewards for them with the permission of Allah ﷻ. They will go to paradise. Because they are poor and needy, they don’t have much. But they cut down on their food and sent for help. May Allah ﷻ be pleased with them.
Doing charity is beautiful. It is something loved by Allah ﷻ and our Holy Prophet ﷺ. Nothing can be more beautiful than doing charity. And doing evil; no matter how much those with bad intentions do, Allah ﷻ will protect from their evil. May Allah ﷻ help people and protect Islam and Muslim countries insha’Allah.

Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla is As-Sattar. As-Sattar means He ﷻ conceals sins, He ﷻ conceals faults. If a person conceals himself, if he asks that Allah ﷻ conceals him, Allah ﷻ conceals him then. He ﷻ doesn’t embarrass him for the sins and mistakes he made. Because everything a person does will be revealed on the Day of Judgment, and he will be embarrassed then. But if he asks from Allah ﷻ to conceal him, Allah ﷻ will conceal him. Therefore, telling about the committed sins or mistakes by boasting is not good. Because you are embarrassing yourself in Dunya, and you will not be concealed in Akhirah.
Our Holy Prophet salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam says, “إذَا ابتُليتم بِالْمَعَاصِي فاسْتَتِروا” Sinning is an affliction. Committing sins is a kind of affliction for people. And if you are afflicted with that affliction, conceal yourself. Don’t tell anyone. Let it be between you and Allah ﷻ. Repent and ask for forgiveness. Allah ﷻ will conceal it, and you won’t be ashamed on the Day of Judgment, on Resurrection Day. There will be a great hardship then. Otherwise, Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla will forgive and you will be saved.
There are many ways of being saved from sins committed by people in this world. It is good to ask for forgiveness from Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla. If there are other broken rights, by mending and receiving their blessing, people will be saved from it. People should pay attention to these things during life in this world.
Mankind always does sins, wrong, mistakes and Haram. Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla has given the means of getting rid of it. You should repent and ask for forgiveness, Allah ﷻ will forgive. No matter how much you do, you should repent and ask for forgiveness. The Door of Repentance is still open. When Qiyamah is near, it will be closed. And repentance won’t be accepted then. Insha’Allah may Allah ﷻ forgive us all. May He ﷻ conceal our sins and not embarrass us.

Our Holy Prophet ﷺ says don’t ask for patience. Not to ask for patience means not to ask for a test, things that you cannot carry. Because Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla gives a test and gives beneficence. Ask for beneficence. May we not be tested. A person who says he will pass when he is tested and asks for heavy things won’t be able to carry it.
Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla says in Qur’an ‘Azimu sh-Shan: ‘وَلَا تُحَمِّلْنَا مَا لَا طَاقَةَ لَنَا بِهِ’, ‘Wa Lā Tuĥammilnā Mā Lā Ţāqata Lanā Bihi’, ‘And burden us not with that which we have no ability to bear.’ (Qur’ān 02:286). – “Don’t give us burden that we cannot carry.” These beautiful Ayat were given as a beautiful gift to our Holy Prophet ﷺ on Laylatu l-Miraj. It is an important thing, so don’t ask for things you cannot carry. Always ask that Allah ﷻ treats us with kindness and beneficence. May He ﷻ treat us with His ﷻ grace and generosity.
Our everything is from Allah ﷻ. Therefore, whomever Allah ﷻ wants to show beneficence, He ﷻ knows by Himself. And He ﷻ knows whoever He ﷻ want to test. No one can prevent it. Only with Dua’, Sadaqah and the permission of Allah ﷻ it will be easy insha’Allah. Therefore, always ask for goodness and beneficence. Never ask for a test. Don’t think you will pass when you are tested.
This is the belief of people of Tariqah and Ahlu s-Sunnah wa l-Jama’ah. None of our actions will be accepted without the intercession of our Holy Prophet ﷺ. As he ﷺ is sent to us as mercy, there will be happiness both here and hereafter only with his ﷺ intercession insha’Allah.
Some people assume they will be saved with their deeds. They are cheated. They mislead others as well. And it is not good for both of them. We must know our weakness and never ask for a burden we cannot carry. [If it happens] We will do it, of course – May Allah ﷻ protect us – If something happens, what can we do? There is nothing else to do. We must be patient then. But it is not good to ask for something that hasn’t happened.
The holy word of our Holy Prophet ﷺ is important. Our Holy Prophet ﷺ who knows our situation and weakness is saying this to us out of mercy and benevolence. Always ask for goodness and beneficence. We are servants of beneficence and not the servants of tests insha’Allah. May Allah ﷻ protect us insha’Allah. May He ﷻ treat us all with beneficence insha’Allah.

(Qur’ān 25:63). ‘Wa ‘Idhā Khātabahumu Al-Jāhilūna Qālū Salāmāan’, ‘And when the ignorant address them [harshly], they say [words of] peace.’
Mankind does everything according to their egos. And those who obey their egos are ignorant. Those who don’t do what Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla says and don’t accept it are ignorant. Whoever they are, they are worthless.
Some people get angry at others by saying they said so and so. Don’t interact much with ignorant ones. There are stubborn ones. There are stubborn ignorant people. You cannot explain anything to them. You can’t explain because their understanding is that little.
People who are clever go on the way of Allah ﷻ. They strive to carry out Allah’s ﷻ orders. Certainly, they can’t do everything. Everyone has a different level. The more they can do, the higher their rank will increase. But what is important is that they do it.
Some people accept when you speak to them. You can explain things to them. But to people who are stubborn and seek argument, you say a few words. Clever people understand the level and mind of the people on front of them. If they are ignorant and from those who don’t understand, no need to talk to them. Don’t let them commit more sin, and don’t bother yourself. Therefore, interacting with ignorant ones is not good.
Certainly, everyone should learn. That is why Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla made it Fard for people to learn through our Holy Prophet salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam. The first order was to read and learn. To learn what? It is not studying at universities. It is to study the way of Allah ﷻ, to walk on the way ordered by Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla. That is the knowledge. And the rest: people may learn what they need to manage in this world and to sustain their life. That is step by step as well.
Therefore, don’t try to learn or teach people absolutely everything, because it may distress you. Ignorant people know neither limits, nor borders, nor Adab. Therefore, when you meet such people and speak to them, if they know, they know. If they don’t, don’t bother at all. Stay quiet. They may speak as much as they want. When they don’t see any interaction, they will shut up and leave by themselves. May Allah ﷻ protect us. May Allah ﷻ protect us all from ignorance.

Who is with Allāh ﷻ is not afraid. Who is with Allāh ﷻ is not upset inshā’aLlāh. Because Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla says in the Qur’ān Karīm in the āyah which we read in khuṭbah; Bismi Llāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm:
إِنَّ وَلِيِّيَ اللَّهُ الَّذِي نَزَّلَ الْكِتَابَ ۖ وَهُوَ يَتَوَلَّى” الصَّالِحِينَ”, “Inna waliyyiya llāhu lladhī nazzala l-kitāba wa-huwa yatawallā ṣ-ṣāliḥīn”, “Indeed, my protector is Allah, who has sent down the Book; and He is an ally to the righteous.” (Qur’an 07:196). Allāh ﷻ is the helper of the righteous ones. Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla is the one who helps them in everything. As long as their greatest power and their biggest support is Allāh ﷻ, no one can stand up against them.
That is why people who are believers and righteous are satisfied. They don’t need anyone. Allāh ﷻ is their helper and supporter. Allāh ﷻ is with them. May Allāh ﷻ be with us. May He ﷻ not be against us. That is what we want. If you are with Allāh ﷻ, you can’t go opposite each other. The opposers will lose. Even though they think they are winning, certainly, what they attain will not be good for them; it will be bad.
Therefore, people who are believers and Muslim should know this good tidings. The word of Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla is Haqq/true. It can never be otherwise. The promise of Allāh ﷻ is true. His ﷻ promise is true means what He ﷻ says is true. Who is with Him ﷻ will win. Allāh ﷻ will make his work successful. His deeds will be accepted. Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla will give him his rewards.
Therefore, there is a lot of Fitnah and evil everywhere around as we live in the end of times. What’s important is to be with Allāh ﷻ. Do not be ever against Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla. Be with Allāh ﷻ. Don’t go against Allāh ﷻ. Who goes against Allāh ﷻ never wins. Even if he wins or even if he earns throughout his life, everything he earns will be given to him for more suffering.
Therefore, there are tests of Allāh ﷻ. But eventually, people who pass the test will reach peace. They will reach eternal happiness insha’Allah.

It is not good for mankind to be arrogant, to favour yourself. It ruins the things you do. The more people favour themselves and see themselves above other people, the more they are defeated by shayṭān. Because arrogance, boasting and favoring yourself are the attributes of shayṭān. He wants everyone to have this and strives so that they are like him. People’s egos like this and say, “I am the best. I know the best.” Therefore, this attribute is the attribute disliked by Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla and our Holy Prophet ﷺ.
“Vanity” they say. It is one of the diseases of the ego. The disease of the ego is not in the body. This disease is in the spirituality and behaviour. And its harm is not little. Its harm is big for mankind. Therefore, we have to be careful.
Sayyidinā ‘Abdu l-Qādir Gīlānī was Quṭbu l-‘Aẓam and Sulṭānu l-Awliyā’. He is from the greatest Awliyā’ and Quṭub. Sayyidinā ‘Abdu l-Qādir Gīlānī said some light had appeared one night. Everywhere around became completely lit up. And someone appeared out of it. When this big light came out, it said, “I am your Lord, ‘Abdu l-Qādir. I make everything permissible for you. The forbidden is permitted for you now.” Sayyidinā ‘Abdu l-Qādir Gīlānī said, “Shut up, you cursed shayṭān!” He said this to him.
Shayṭān asked Sayyidinā ‘Abdu l-Qādir Gīlānī, “How did you understand?” “It happened by the virtue of Allāh ﷻ”, he said. He didn’t favour himself, and he didn’t put forth his ego. He said, “I’m not cheated by you with the virtue of Allāh ﷻ.” Sayyidinā ‘Abdu l-Qādir Gīlānī said this to shayṭān. Then he said, “How did it happen?” “I wasn’t cheated, with the virtue of Allāh ﷻ and with worship and du‘ā’ granted by Allāh ﷻ.” Then he said, “I have cheated seventy ‘ālim servants like you.” He had misled them. And there was no worship anymore. They didn’t do anything. And he made them do ḥarām things. They were cheated. But they were people who liked themselves. It was easier for him to cheat them.
A person who is humble and is aware of the greatness of Allāh ﷻ never sees anything from himself. Everything is from Allāh ﷻ. It is from the favours and virtues of Allāh ﷻ. He knows this. So he acts accordingly. And he follows the things given, told and ordered by Allāh ﷻ. He is not cheated by anyone.
Many people are cheated saying, “I am this and that. I don’t need to do this.” The orders of Allāh ﷻ are for everyone. You may be a scholar or Awliyā’ as much as you want. If you don’t do what is ordered, everything you earned will be gone. Therefore, may Allāh ﷻ protect us. May we capture our egos. May we not obey our egos inshā’aLlāh.

Bismi Llāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm: ‘لَا عَاصِمَ ٱلْيَوْمَ مِنْ أَمْرِ ٱللَّهِ إِلَّا مَن رَّحِمَ’, ‘Lā ʿāṣima l-yawma min amri llāh illā man raḥim’, ‘There is no protector today from the decree of Allah , except for whom He gives mercy.’ (Qur’ān 11:43). Only Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla saves whomever He ﷻ wants. Allāh ﷻ shows mercy and saves whomever He ﷻ wants to show mercy to, says Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla.
The time we are living in is difficult as we say every time. It is the end of times. Mankind is living in difficult time. But what can they do? There is Allāh ﷻ. Allāh ﷻ created us in such a time. He ﷻ created us in this place and in this time. There is nothing we can do. People should believe in this so that they feel at rest. There is wisdom in everything that Allāh ﷻ does. There are things that He ﷻ knows and that people don’t know.
The things that Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla gave to people, His ﷻ favours are endless. And the greatest favour is the favour of īmān. A person who attains the favour of īmān; the rest of things like affliction and calamities are nothing for him. They are written as thawāb and benefit for him.
With the permission of Allāh ﷻ, we entered the month of Sha‘bān. The holy three months. Sha‘bān is the month of our Holy Prophet ﷺ. It is the month of mercy. They are scaring people now by saying this and that will happen. Inshā’aLlāh for the honor of our Holy Prophet ﷺ all possible hardships will be light and without harm inshā’aLlāh. It will pass inshā’aLlāh.
What we should do in this month inshā’aLlāh is to honor our Holy Prophet ﷺ, to make ṣalawāt on him ﷺ and to ask forgiveness from Allāh ﷻ. What we should do is to perform the worship ordered by Allāh ﷻ and rely on Allāh ﷻ. Make Du‘ā’ that He ﷻ shows mercy and compassion to us for the honor of our Holy Prophet ﷺ. Du‘ā’ is the weapon of a believer. If Allāh ﷻ wants it, He ﷻ can remove the affliction and disaster.
Therefore, the most important thing now – people are scared. They’re scared of what will happen. There is nothing to be scared of. The will of Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla will happen. Nothing outside His ﷻ will ever happens.
Therefore, you must submit yourself to His ﷻ will and make Du‘ā’ that He ﷻ protects us. With the permission of Allāh ﷻ, for the honor of our Holy Prophet ﷺ, Allāh ﷻ will show mercy and we will be safe inshā’aLlāh. These people are very frustrated. And the remedy for it is to rely on Allāh ﷻ. May Allāh ﷻ help all of us.
There is no one to seek refuge in except Allāh. ‘لَا عَاصِمَ ٱلْيَوْمَ مِنْ أَمْرِ ٱللَّهِ إِلَّا مَن رَّحِمَ’, ‘Lā ʿāṣima l-yawma min amri llāh illā man raḥim’, ‘There is no protector today from the decree of Allah , except for whom He gives mercy.’ (Qur’ān 11:43). Whoever seeks refuge in Allāh ﷻ will be saved. May Allāh ﷻ help us.

Shukr to Allāh ﷻ, today is the second of the holy three months. Rajab is over. We entered the holy month of Sha‘bān, shukr to Allāh ﷻ. This month is the month of our Holy Prophet ﷺ. It has a great blessing. Our Holy Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam used to fast the most in this month after Ramaḍān. Sha‘bān is Mukarram (honored) and Mu’azzam (glorified) month that has a lot of virtue. Allāh ﷻ grants various favours each and every day. The favours of this month are so great. They’re great for the honor of our Holy Prophet ﷺ.
The worship performed in this month is the preparation for Ramaḍān. The worship of Ramaḍān becomes complete. And people get profit with the virtue of the three holy months. People who do this are granted the greatest favours by Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla. If He ﷻ has granted it [to them], it is a great virtue.
There are holy nights in this month, especially the night on the 15th. From year to year, who will live on and who will be gone, the amount of rizq; Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla assigns those on this night. Who is to stay will stay. Who is to go will go. Therefore, making du‘ā’ on this night brings the favours of Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla. He ﷻ will treat you with His ﷻ favours. Who doesn’t forget Allāh ﷻ, Allāh ﷻ won’t forget him. He ﷻ shows mercy to whomever wants it. Who doesn’t want it knows for himself. Because who asks wants goodness. Who doesn’t ask doesn’t want anything. Therefore, his condition is difficult.
Every day is precious in people’s lives. They should do goodness every day. They should obey Allāh ﷻ. They should make du‘ā’ that He ﷻ increases their love to our Holy Prophet ﷺ. There are more favours in the three months for this. The holy nights in these three months are even greater favours from Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla to humanity, to people. But people don’t appreciate them. They appreciate useless things. They don’t appreciate precious things. May Allāh ﷻ let all of us know these good things. And may He ﷻ let us know things that are not good so that we don’t approach them. May we do the good ones. May we not waste our lives and days in vain.
There are duties of this month, of course. The greatest duty we must do is to make more ṣalawāt on our Holy Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam. Tasbīḥāt, Ikhlāṣ, Āyatu l-Kursī, Tawhid: Lā ilāha illā Llāh, reading Qur’ān and Dalā’il al-Khayrāt. Don’t forget them. Many people cannot do them in other months. They should do them at least during these months; Rajab, Sha‘bān, Ramaḍān. It is the season of holy months. It is a beautiful season. May Allāh ﷻ bless it for all of us.
May He ﷻ protect us from disasters. As we are living in the end of times, it is unclear what will happen. As no one is secured, our security is to seek refuge in Allāh ﷻ. There is no other security. As Nūḥ ‘alayhi s-salām told his son when he said “I will hide on top of the mountain”, even on top of the mountain your are not protected if Allāh ﷻ doesn’t protect you. Therefore, we seek refuge in Allāh ﷻ. May Allāh ﷻ help us. May Allāh ﷻ protect people and our īmān. Our īmān is more important than our life. May Allāh ﷻ protect it insha’Allah.

The holy religion of Islām has come for mankind. It has come to glorify mankind, to honor people. Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla put mankind among the highest creatures. He ﷻ gave that honor to them. Who walks on His ﷻ way, who obeys His ﷻ orders reaches the highest rank.
Bismi Llāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm: ‘وَلَقَدْ كَرَّمْنَا بَنِي آدَمَ’, ‘Wa Laqad Karramnā Banī ‘Ādam, ‘And We have certainly honored the children of Adam.’ (Qur’ān 17:70). “We have honored sons of ’Ādam. We have favoured them. We have given them all kinds of opportunities”, says Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla. If they walk on this way, they will be in profit. But if they don’t do this, if they go another way, there is suffering and degrading. There is evil on other way.
When the rights and privileges of mankind in Islām were told during the time of our Holy Prophet ﷺ, many people did not accept them. Because they were communities who killed and did evil to each other. They were unfair. They were living in dark times. But they got raised with the light of our Holy Prophet ﷺ. Wherever they went, as there was goodness for people, they accepted the religion of Islām. As they followed the way of Islām they got raised and honored. When they left it, they became degraded. They were at loss. They lost everything; their dignity and their honor when they left the way of Allāh ﷻ. Who were on the way of Allāh ﷻ won. Who were not on the way of Allāh ﷻ lost.
Therefore, we must know the greatness of Islām. There is no benefit in joining other ways. There is only harm. And there is a lot of harm, no benefit. In Islām, there are favours for mankind both alive and dead. Even people killed at war are left there with respect. But those who are not Muslim, when Muslim or any other enemy dies, they do all kinds of things to him. They treat him badly by cutting or burning. This is forbidden in Islām. It is ok while fighting. But when soul leaves leaves the dead, you can’t touch him. That is finished. You have no ruling anymore. The judgment is given by Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla. It is forbidden to burn, cut up and do things like this in Islām.
Nevertheless, non-Muslims say they respect people, their rights and privileges. But when people die, they don’t even bury them anymore. They burn them straight away. And then they keep the ashes or scatter them away; just like that. It’s because they don’t have īmān. These people don’t believe in Allāh and the religion. Who don’t have īmān don’t have respect to humanity. The greatest respect is in Islām. Never was anyone cremated. Muslims didn’t burn even dead kafirs or enemies.
Therefore, Islām is the religion of mercy. It is the highest religion of Allāh ﷻ. What we mean by the highest is when our Holy Prophet ﷺ came, he ﷺ completed it. He ﷺ completed Islām. It is all Islām from ’Ādam ‘alayhi s-salām till our Holy Prophet ﷺ. But it was complete during the time of our Holy Prophet ﷺ. It doesn’t have any fault since then. Because it came down to people slowly. And there is nothing more. May Allāh ﷻ make us all know the worth of Islām, the worth of being Muslim, the worth of īmān. May He ﷻ protect them insha’Allah.

Our Holy Prophet ﷺ is saying, “يَسِّرُوا ولا تُعَسِّرُوا”, “Yassirū wa-lā Tu‘assiru”, “Make things easy and do not make them difficult”. [Hadith] “Make it easy. Don’t make it difficult.” Islām is the religion of easiness. Do not push people away by complicating it, says our Holy Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam. Whatever you do, when you do it for the pleasure of Allāh ﷻ, Allāh ﷻ accepts it.
As we are living in the end of times, anything done for Allāh ﷻ, Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla accepts it. But there is shayṭān. ‘مِن شَرِّ الْوَسْوَاسِ الْخَنَّاسِ’, ‘Min sharri l-waswāsi l- khannās’, ‘From the evil of the retreating whisperer.’ (Qur’ān 114:04). As soon as you want to do something good he tries to prevent it and says, “This is not sunnah. This is wrong.” You must say the word of Allāh ﷻ. You must remember the name of Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla. You must do what He ﷻ ordered. Shayṭān comes from such door to you and says, “This is bid‘ah. You are not doing goodness. Do not pray. Do not make ṣalawāt. Do not gather. Do not gather with Muslim brothers. Stay alone and wild. Don’t listen to anyone. Don’t follow madhhab. Don’t join ṭarīqah. All of them are ḥarām, bid‘ah and shirk.” This group who says so are the best friends of shayṭān.
Because when this is done, īmān goes away. People become faithless. They are Muslim only on tongue. They have no īmān in their hearts. When it is gone, they may lose what is on their tongues as well. May Allāh ﷻ protect us. And they will go into kufr.
Therefore, we must pay attention to this. Don’t listen to those people who make waswasa. However you do, just do it. Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla will accept it. Allāh ﷻ is not in need of your worship. Do it for yourself. And don’t leave it. Wherever there is a good gathering that remembers Allāh ﷻ, attend it. Go to assemblies of ṣuḥbah. Go to assemblies of dhikr.
We seek refuge in Allāh ﷻ from shayṭān and his associates who make waswasa. ‘قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ النَّاسِ’, ‘Qul aʿūdhu bi-rabbi n-nās’, ‘Say, “I seek refuge in the Lord of mankind.’ (Qur’ān 114:01). ‘مِن شَرِّ الْوَسْوَاسِ الْخَنَّاسِ’, ‘Min sharri l-waswāsi l- khannās’, From the evil of the retreating whisperer.’ (Qur’ān 114:04). We seek refuge in Allāh ﷻ from these people who make waswasa to others, put them in hardship and prevent from doing goodness. Just like we seek refuge in Allāh ﷻ from shayṭān, we seek refuge in Allāh ﷻ from them. May Allāh ﷻ protect us from their evil. They have repulsed many people and pushed them away from the religion. There are many people who went out of religion. They made it so strict in Muslim countries that after losing īmān, they lost Islām as well which was on their tongues. They turned to kufr.
Therefore, easiness is the first order of our religion. Every work of our Holy Prophet ﷺ was good. His ﷺ every work was with Adab. He ﷺ was ordered to people with goodness. With goodness, the hearts lean towards Islām. Without it, when they are rough and rude, people run away. Bismi Llāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm: ‘وَلَوْ كُنتَ فَظًّا غَلِيظَ الْقَلْبِ لَانفَضُّوا مِنْ حَوْلِكَ’, ‘Wa-law kunta faẓẓan ghalīẓa l-qalbi la-nfaḍḍū min ḥawlik’, ‘And if you had been rude [in speech] and harsh in heart, they would have disbanded from about you.’ (Qur’ān 03:159). Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla is saying, “If you were a tough and strict person, people around you would run away from you.”
So the character of our Holy Prophet ﷺ is the best character. Our Holy Prophet ﷺ treated people the best. With both the young and the old, he ﷺ had a beautiful assembly with everyone. He ﷺ never shouted at anyone directly. When he ﷺ didn’t like something, he ﷺ kept quiet. They would understand it.
Therefore, don’t listen to these rough and rude people. Everything you do with sincere intention for Allāh ﷻ is accepted with the permission of Allāh ﷻ. Everyone must know this. And those who say they are Muslim must know this first of all.

(Qur’ān 05:02). ‘Wa ta‘āwanū ‘ala l-birri wa t-taqwā wa la ta‘āwanū ‘ala l-lithmī wa l-‘udwān’, ‘And cooperate in righteousness and piety, but do not cooperate in sin and aggression.’
Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla is saying, “Help each other.” Help in doing goodness, support each other. Help other people. And most importantly, help your closest ones. It is the most important. The closest ones are your relatives, children and siblings. Whoever relatives are, they should help. And when someone is married, people should help each other.
Of course, sometimes a man can be poor. His wife may support him. Certainly, it is the duty of a man to look after the household, children and his wife. But sometimes it happens in such a way that we hear a lot about it, a man is poor and he gets married. And his wife has to work and take care of him. And as if that is not enough, she has to take a bank loan in his name. It is unclear what he will do with it. And then he says to his wife, “Are you not a derwish? You have to to take care of me. You have to help me for Allāh ﷻ.”
This is wrong. That is not help. That is direct crookedness. It is exploiting others. It is wrong. In Islām, men must work. But as we said, if a woman is capable, she may take care of the household and provide food. But buying a car or a house, or even taking a bank loan is both foolishness and crookedness. It is wrong. We must pay attention to this. “You must obey me. You must help me.” They cheat women by saying so and then run away. They repulse from Islām, ṭarīqah and sufism.
Men and women must be careful about this. We always get complaints about people like this. There is no obligation for a woman to give money to her husband, to take loans. But as we said, if she is rich, she can feed him and not demand anything. But giving money to him on top of that for going out is completely wrong. Allāh ﷻ is not happy then. And our Holy Prophet ﷺ is not happy. The Awliyā’ are not happy as well. May Allāh ﷻ protect us from such people, from their evil.
They say such people can get water if they squeeze a stone. May Allāh ﷻ give mind and understanding to these people as they think they are in profit by doing so. That’s not profit. That puts your rank down. It decreases your value. Your rank and worth go down in the sight of Allāh ﷻ. And your worth goes down among people.
Allāh ﷻ loves hardworking ones. He ﷻ loves content people. Content people are fine. But as we said, those who take more than they should, who make it a habit are not good.

Our Holy Prophet salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam says, “The person who does not know anything from the Qur’an inside him is like a ruined house.” It is the beautiful word of our Holy Prophet ﷺ. The inside of a person becomes prosperous with the Qur’an and the word of Allah ﷻ. Otherwise, there won’t be anything; it is like a ruined house.
Now they build houses and palaces for people in this world. They are beautiful from the outside. And even if it seems like it’s beautiful on the inside but it is ruined. Because it is of no benefit for Akhirah. It darkens one’s inside [heart] because it has no spirituality.
Now we see there are the palaces of people of old times, the non-Muslims. It looks very wonderful from the outside. When you go inside, there is nothing. They are places of heaviness and darkness. Because there is no word of Allah ﷻ. Allah’s ﷻ name is not mentioned. It is made for Dunya. The view is beautiful from the outside, but it is useless on the inside. It darkens one’s inside and it puts people in darkness.
Therefore, the Qur’an is light. The word of Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla is light. It is the light that illuminates the inside of people. When you enter the mosques and Dergahs of Muslims, it gives you relief, it gives you light with the permission of Allah ﷻ. It does not give darkness. What gives darkness are the useless places. Any place that doesn’t have the Dhikr of Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla, no matter how beautiful those places look from the outside or inside, they do not give relief, they give nothing but darkness.
Therefore, if you want to get relief, put the Qur’an inside you, put the word of Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla inside you. And we will be illuminated by its light insha’Allah. May Allah ﷻ give us all this light. With light there will be relief and beauty. With darkness there will be hardship, there will be all kinds of badness. May Allah ﷻ protect us.

(Qur’ān 17:70). ‘Wa Laqad Karramna Bani Adam wa Hamalnahum fi l-Barri wal Bahri’, ‘And We have certainly honored the children of Adam and carried them on the land and sea.’ Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla is saying mankind is created as the most valuable creature among all creation. “We gave them mind. And we have helped them in seas and on land”, says Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla.
Mankind is created as valuable in front of Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla. But how does their worth show? Through piety. Who obeys Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla and follows the way He ﷻ has ordered attains that honor. The favors of Allah ﷻ are not according to things appointed by mankind themselves but through obedience to Allah ﷻ.
What kind of people do people of the present time value more? It is according to their own minds: “This one is famous and has a lot of money. This one is beautiful. That one is so and so”. Very few are those who value people for following the way of Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla. They are the truly valuable ones.
People are following whatever their ego wants. They obey it or strive to be like them. No need to deal with it, because the attribute of people of the present time is mostly selfishness. Their attribute is self-admiration and not admiring others. And they especially don’t like those who are on the way of Allah ﷻ. They like those who are on the way of shaytan. This decreases their worth. The true worth, the jewel is in those who are on the way of Allah ﷻ. The rest is fake like decoration items as glass and tin. They shine for a while; and then there is neither shine nor worth. They deteriorate and disappear.
Therefore, it is important to value those who are valued by Allah ﷻ, to strive to become like them and to follow that way. Your worth increases then. You become worthy in the sight of Allah ﷻ. Otherwise, you lose all your worth. Even if people value you for some time, they will forget you eventually. You will be thrown away in vain. May Allah ﷻ protect us. May we be worthy of the favors of Allah ﷻ insha’Allah. May Allah ﷻ not separate us from the right way.

AlḥamduliLlāh we have reached this day again, Shukr to Allāh ﷻ. Tonight is a holy night inshā’Allāh. It is the night of miracles of our Holy Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam. It is a night which is worth thousands of years. The events that took place within two hours according to the worldly time require thousands of years for a person to travel and see those places. Certainly, it is especially for our Holy Prophet ﷺ, but its Barakah came to his Ummah as well.
On this night our Holy Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam travelled from Makkah to Jerusalem and visited other Prophets there. He visited holy places and then ascended to heavens. There, he went to the presence of Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla in the end, in a way known to Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla. It is a gathering, or a meeting that our minds cannot comprehend. There is always a meeting. It is impossible without meetings.
A favor granted to our Holy Prophet ﷺ was given as a present to his Ummah as well. That’s an important thing which is the order for the Ummah to pray. They used to pray before that as well, but it wasn’t five times a day. It was made Farḍ to the Ummah on that night. As a pillar of Islām, fasting was also practiced. But it was made Farḍ in Madīnah. Same with Hajj. There was no Zakāt then. They used to say Shahāda and pray. But it was ordered and made Farḍ for the Ummah on Laylatul ‘Isrā’ wal-Mi‘rāj as a present for them.
So prayer is the most valuable pillar of the religion. And prayer was ordered to our Holy Prophet ﷺ by Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla directly without any means. Jibrīl ‘alayhi s-salām used to be a means between them. But it was ordered directly, without any means to pray fifty times a day. Fifty times means that mankind was created to worship, and they would worship without stopping. We would pray fifty times a day. As the Ummah of Sayyidinā Mūsā ‘alayhi s-salām couldn’t carry it, through Sayyidinā Mūsā ‘alayhi s-salām and by the mercy of Allāh ﷻ – Our Holy Prophet ﷺ wouldn’t say that it was too little or too much in front of Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla because of his Adab. So when Sayyidinā Mūsā said that it was too much and the Ummah would not carry it… Certainly, many of us know this story of our Holy Prophet ﷺ. We will tell it again. Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla reduced it to 45 times. When told it was a lot, it became 40. Sayyidinā Mūsā ‘alayhi s-salām told our Holy Prophet ﷺ to reduce it to 35, 30, 25, 20, 15 and then 5. It was reduced to 5. Even for the five times, Sayyidinā Mūsā ‘alayhi s-salām said to our Holy Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam that it was too much. Our Holy Prophet ﷺsaid, “No. If we reduce the five times, there would be nothing. There wouldn’t be the Barakah or beauty of prayer. There would be no pillar of the religion then.” Sayyidinā Mūsā ‘alayhi s-salām knew it, because everyone find it difficult to pray now. If they pray two Rakāat, even that seems hard. We sometimes tell people to pray two Rakāat. They say, “We pray two Rakāat once during Jum’ah.”
Therefore, these five times a day are a gift from Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla to people. It is the greatest favor, the greatest goodness to people from all aspects, spiritually and physically. It’s every movement, everything in it is Thawāb, Barakah and good for people. Those who skip prayer take on a big responsibility. They deprive themselves from great benefits. They are at loss. Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla is the One who created everything. Does He ﷻ need your imperfect praying? No. Hāshā (far from it). Even if you pray imperfectly, Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla accepts it. But He ﷻ doesn’t need your prayer. He ﷻ has ordered it for your goodness. Prayer was ordered by Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla from the highest, the greatest place to our Holy Prophet ﷺ directly without any means. That’s why prayer is a very important thing.
And then, apart from this, Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla granted many gifts to the Ummah. Also the last two Ayāhs of Sūrat al-Baqarah (Āmana ar-Rasūlu..), which wasn’t sent through Jibrīl ‘alayhi s-salām but was ordered directly by Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla. In one of these Ayāhs, it is said, ‘لَا يُكَلِّفُ اللَّهُ نَفْسًا إِلَّا وُسْعَهَا’, ‘Allah does not charge a soul except [with that within] its capacity.’ (Qur’ān 02:286). Allāh ﷻ didn’t order anything that people cannot carry. People can do all of them. People can do what Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla ordered easily. And if it was praying fifty times a day, people would still be able to do it. There is no obstacle for it. But out of mercy, it was reduced to five times. When Allāh ﷻ orders something, He ﷻ orders things that we can carry. He ﷻ doesn’t order what we cannot do.
Therefore, may this night be blessed for all of us. Inshā’Allāh may we pay attention to our prayers. It is a gift from Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla to our Holy Prophet ﷺ and to the Ummah. There cannot be a greater gift. Prayer is a pillar of the religion. It is important. How lucky are those who do it. And those who miss it, if they pray it as Qada’ (make up) later, they are saved. But its virtue is not even a thousandth part. If they pray all their lives to make up for their missed prayers, they won’t have the same virtue, says our Holy Prophet ﷺ.
That is why we have to be careful. We have to pay attention to our prayers. Ḥajj and Zakāt became Farḍ afterwards. The first farḍ is saying Shahāda that Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla is One, and the next after it is prayer. Prayer is very important. Be careful. Don’t miss it. Do it on time. Unless you have to… Allāh ﷻ forgives you when you have to skip it, or when you imitate other Madhhab. But you do so when it’s unavoidable at all. Imitating other Madhhab is not by choosing the easy way and skipping the prayer. When it’s so necessary, while you are travelling, when you can’t do anything, it is fine to imitate. Inshā’Allāh Allāh ﷻ will forgive. But otherwise, it is not right. May Allāh ﷻ make this night full of Barakah for all of us. May it be blessed and good inshā’Allāh.

Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla tells in the Qur’an about the things that will happen. Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla is saying what will happen, that the sky will split, mountains will explode and that all of this is the sign of Qiyamah. “Who don’t accept it and belie it, woe to them!” says Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla. Because all the signs and apparent things, Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla shows them for people to believe and not to belie them. Yet, people are in Kufr.
There is stubbornness in Kufr. Kafirs are stubborn. Even though they see the truth, they don’t accept it. They say it doesn’t exist. We see the same in this world. Their condition will be bad in Akhirah as well. Because they consider the truth as lie and the lie as truth. And they are trying to persuade everyone to believe in it not to be alone.
Who has mind accepts the truth. Who doesn’t have mind will perish and be gone. Therefore, be from those who accept the truth. Don’t belie it. The way of truth is the way of Allah ﷻ and the way of our Holy Prophet ﷺ. The way is the way of truth and it takes people to happiness. Those who don’t accept it, who call it a lie, who call it fake will perish and be gone. Their ending will not be good.
Everything has happened by the will of Allah ﷻ. Everything is created by Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla. Everything apparent and hidden is created by Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla. And Shukr to Allah ﷻ, He ﷻ made it known to people through Prophets. As He ﷻ created everything, He ﷻ is the one who knows. And who follows what He ﷻ says will be saved. Who has mind follows what He ﷻ says.
The rest of people who don’t accept the truth are blind. Their mind is not ok. Who are together with the truth are ok. But they are not accepting that. They say who follow the truth/Haqq are stupid and crazy. And they will regret it later. May Allah ﷻ protect us. May Allah ﷻ give strength to our Iman insha’Allah.

Our Holy Prophet salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam says, “I and whoever takes care of an orphan will be next to each other like these two fingers.” Being together with our Holy Prophet ﷺ in Akhirah is our biggest wish. And the greatest Thawab is to take care of orphans. Its reward is as great in the sight of Allah ﷻ. Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla is Merciful. He ﷻ grants great favors to those who take care of orphans.
Now there are many orphan children whose families died in this disaster. They want to give them to families. It is a good matter. It is not adoption. There is no adoption in Islam. You take care of an orphan child in Islam, but he must know his parents. As the religion of Islam is a pure religion, there is no confusion and interference in lineage. Wherever he comes from, whoever’s child he is; he must know this. He must know his father, grandfather and great grandfather. Therefore, there is no adoption. They call it a guardian family now. It is ok, because it is clear whose child he is.
Sometimes a child is given for adoption and he is not aware of it. When he finds out that his parents are not his real parents, it is a great devastation for that person no matter how old he is. He becomes depressed. Therefore, the religion of Islam gives the best thing to people. It gives the most needed things. It gives everything. Therefore, taking care of orphans, helping them and raising them is a great Thawab.
There are many people who want to do it, with the permission of Allah ﷻ. Insha’Allah it will be beneficial for them as well. It is the order of Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla. The father of our Holy Prophet ﷺ died as well before he ﷺ was born. And his ﷺ mother died in front of him ﷺ when he ﷺ was four years old. This is the will of Allah ﷻ. Therefore, people who take care of those babies will attain great Thawab.
Those who are able to do it should do so. Who cannot do it, there are many others who can. There is no need to take a burden that one cannot carry. There are thousands of people who say “I can do it” who have no children. They will bring them up by taking care of them and will attain its reward. May Allah ﷻ be pleased with those who can do it. And may Allah ﷻ be pleased with those who cannot do it also.

(Qur’ān 02:153). ‘Inna Allāha Ma’a s-Sabireen’, ‘Indeed, Allah is with the patient.’ Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla is with those who are patient. ‘إِنَّمَا يُوَفَّى الصَّابِرُونَ أَجْرَهُم بِغَيْرِ حِسَابٍ’, ‘Innamā Yuwaffá s-Sābirūna ‘Ajrahum Bighayri Ĥisāb’, ‘Indeed, the patient will be given their reward without account.’ (Qur’ān 39:10). The rewards of the patient ones are given without account. Such a great reward is given that only Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla knows this reward. Even angels cannot write it down.
Certainly, this condition now is extremely severe. You get upset when you look at it. This is a test from Allah ﷻ. There is nothing these people can do but be patient with this test. May Allah ﷻ help them. We ask that Allah ﷻ gives patience, because without patience there is nothing one can do. When there is patience, Allah ﷻ is with those who are patient. He ﷻ will help them, and His ﷻ Help is enormous. There is no one who can help but Allahﷻ.
Of course, people are helping from the outside. May Allah ﷻ be pleased with them. They are sending food and water. But the actual spiritual support is from Allah ﷻ. Because a normal person cannot carry this suffering. Unless Allah ﷻ helps him, a person cannot carry it. And Allah ﷻ will give their rewards for being patient. Allah ﷻ gives both the power of patience and the reward.
They say you cannot question the wisdom of Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla. What had to happen has happened. You can say “It was built weakly or strongly” as much as you want. What’s important is that whenever death has to come to someone, he will be there. It is said in Qur’an ‘Azimu sh-Shan that wherever and whenever the death of someone is, Allah ﷻ knows everything about it. ‘إِنَّ اللَّهَ يَعْلَمُ’, ‘Inna Allaha Ya’lamu’, ‘Indeed, Allah knows.’ (Qur’ān 16:74). These are things known to Allah ﷻ. Therefore, being patient with what has happened is the best thing for people.
Certainly, they are patient. May Allah ﷻ help them. May Allah ﷻ give them all their rewards insha’Allah. It is a very big test. It is a very big disaster and a test. May Allah ﷻ make them from those who pass this test and may He ﷻ reward them. The greater the suffering is, the greater Thawab is. May Allah ﷻ help them and may Allah ﷻ protect them.

Subhana Allah Al-Wahid Al-‘Ahad”, “Glorified is Allah The One The Unique.” People cannot comprehend the Greatness and Magnificence of Allah ﷻ.
The issue of this earthquake is not leaving the minds of people. It is a very big incident. Certainly, it happened by the order of Allah ﷻ. They are saying it is because of this and that. Allah ﷻ creates various reasons in order to test people’s Iman directly. Whoever passes the test will get through. Whoever says “If only this and that…” – there is a saying that there is no remedy for the past and the dead.
Therefore, we must seek refuge in Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla. We must always be together with Allah ﷻ. Every second, every moment we must not forget Allah ﷻ; we must make Dhikr and remember Allah ﷻ. People who do this will win. Otherwise, they will lose many things.
Allah ﷻ made this world a place of tests. There is no comfort in this world. People are asking “What is this strange thing?” They are not relaxed at all. People want to be in comfort. The comfort of people is in Akhirah, not in this world. The rest is there. And here, it is the place of work and tests. It is the place of both happiness and sorrow. It is so here. Those who don’t like it, there is nothing we can do. Allah ﷻ created this world like this.
Allah ﷻ does whatever He ﷻ wants. Therefore, rely on Allah ﷻ. Submit yourself to Allah ﷻ. Submission is important. People who are in submission reach safety. A beautiful Hadith Sharif of our Holy Prophet salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam, all of them are beautiful but this one says: “I am amazed by the affair of Muslims and believers. Even if they suffer in this world, they are still in profit. If they are not in suffering, they are in profit too”. People who are Muslim and Mumin, people who rely on Allah ﷻ are in profit in both cases. This beautiful saying of our Holy Prophet ﷺ is great good tidings for us.
May Allah ﷻ protect us. May He ﷻ not test us. We are not servants of tests. But when we are tested, what can we do? It is the order of Allah ﷻ. There is nothing we can do but conform with it. May Allah ﷻ not separate us from Iman. The most important thing, what’s more important than anything is Iman. Life and body are not important. Important is Iman. Who has Iman will be in profit. May Allah ﷻ give true Iman to all of us insha’Allah.

(Qur’ān 10:63-64). ‘Al-Ladhīna ‘Āmanū Wa Kānū Yattaqūna (63) Lahumu Al-Bushrá Fī Al-Ĥayāati Ad-Dunyā Wa Fī Al-‘Ākhirati’, ‘Those who believed and were fearing Allah (63) For them are good tidings in the worldly life and in the Hereafter.’
Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla says there are good tidings both here and hereafter to those who have Iman and fear Allah ﷻ. Those who have Iman fear Allah ﷻ. Those who don’t have Iman don’t fear Allah ﷻ. When they are not afraid of Allah ﷻ, they can do anything.
Therefore, good people are those who have Iman. Because they are afraid of Allah ﷻ, they want everything to be the way Allah ﷻ wants it. Everything they do is for the pleasure of Allah ﷻ. They don’t cause suffering or oppress people. They have conscience. Otherwise, those who have no Iman have no conscience, no manners, nothing. They have no humanity. They are inclined to harm people at every opportunity. And they do so. They oppress others as much as they can by thinking they get benefit out of it.
Those who believe are not like this. Therefore, Allah ﷻ has given them good tidings both here and hereafter. It is a great favor from Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla. When it is otherwise, it is the complete opposite. People who are not afraid of Allah ﷻ, who don’t have Iman and who oppress others have nothing but suffering and punishment here and hereafter.
Therefore, we must pay attention to this. We must rely on Allah ﷻ and believe in Allah ﷻ so that everything goes smoothly both here and hereafter. It is the word of Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla. He ﷻ is the one who does everything. Everything is in His ﷻ Hand. Believe in Him ﷻ so that you attain good tidings and your work goes smoothly here and hereafter. May Allah ﷻ give us all this true Iman. May we be together with believers.

(Qur’ān 35:41). ‘Inna Allāha Yumsiku s-Samāwāti Wa Al-‘Arda ‘An Tazūlā ۚ Wa La’in Zālatā ‘In ‘Amsakahumā Min ‘Aĥadin Min Ba’dih’, ‘Indeed, Allah holds the heavens and the earth, lest they cease. And if they should cease, no one could hold them [in place] after Him.’ Sadaqa Llāhu l-‘Aẓīm. Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla is the One who holds the heavens and earth in His ﷻ Hand of Power. If He ﷻ doesn’t want it, nothing can stand in its place.
Therefore, the Greatness and Superiority of Allah ﷻ must be known to people. But many people don’t accept it. Those who accept it are in profit, Shukr to Allah ﷻ. Those who believe in Allah ﷻ are in profit, because this world doesn’t last forever. Life lasts until a certain point. And then people will go up the Presence of Allah ﷻ. There will be people who regret what they did here and those who are happy then. Do not be from those who will regret.
Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla gives tests. Those who pass the test will get through. A test is not necessarily through a trouble. It is through goodness and favors as well. Some people forget Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla when they have a lot of favors. They don’t believe in Allah ﷻ and talk nonsense. They think they are important and brag around. However, the place where everyone will end up is the Presence of Allah ﷻ. The truth will be shown there, and many people will regret what they did then.
It is the majority of people. Because Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla is saying in Qur’an ‘Azimu sh-Shan as well that the majority is without Iman, without belief. They look at each other and think they are doing something important, whereas they are losing. They are losing their lives. They are losing their Akhirah. They are losing the real life.
A lost life here can be profitable hereafter for many people. Those who die with belief in Allah ﷻ in an accident, hardship, an earthquake or elsewhere, those who die as believers in Allah ﷻ approach great ranks in the Sight of Allah ﷻ even though it seems like suffering here.
It is important to go with Iman from here to Akhirah. There is passing away as Shaheed and passing away as dead. People who go with Iman are Shaheed. Those who don’t believe in Allah ﷻ just suffer here and will suffer in Akhirah. Therefore, this point is important.
Shukr to Allah ﷻ, when something happens here, everyone helps each other for the pleasure of Allah ﷻ. It shows the beauty and Iman of our nation. People are running from all sides. Sometimes you look and lose hope in them. But Allah ﷻ gives such a thing that the Iman left inside them makes them run around for the pleasure of Allah ﷻ and make service. Through the Barakah that came from our ancestors, it shows that Iman is still there, Shukr to Allah ﷻ. May Allah ﷻ make it even more. May Allah ﷻ not separate us from Iman.

(Qur’ān 64:11). ‘‘Mā ‘Asāba Min Musībatin ‘Illā Bi’idhni Allāhi ۗ Wa Man Yu’umin Bi-Llāhi Yahdi Qalbahu’’ ‘‘No disaster strikes except by permission of Allah. And whoever believes in Allah – He will guide his heart.’’ Sadaqa Llāhu l-‘Aẓīm.
Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla says when a disaster occurs – everything happens with the order of Allah جل جلاله. Everything regarding people, how long they will live and when they will die, all of this happens with the order of Allah جل جلاله
Certainly, a big disaster has occurred. It is a big thing. It has happened with the order of Allah جل جلاله. We cannot do anything against it. What we should do is rely on Allah .جل جلاله and ask for Allah’s جل جلاله help so that Allah جل جلاله protects us.
As we are living in the end of times, things like this happen a lot. May Allah جل جلاله protect us. Yet, the best protection for everything is Sadaqah. People should give Sadaqah and ask for the protection of Allah جل جلاله from accidents and troubles. People are protected with Sadaqah.
Otherwise, it is unknown what may happen to people. The lives of people are tied to a cotton thread . They are under command of Allah جل جلاله And Allah جل جلاله does whatever He جل جلاله wants. May Allah جل جلاله protect us. May Allah جل جلاله give patience to people. It is a tough and great disaster. Allah جل جلاله will help them insha’Allah. He جل جلاله will give them rewards and Thawab. And He جل جلاله will protect the rest of them insha’Allah.
What can we say? You cannot go against the order of Allah جل جلاله. “We do this and that.” When the command of Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla comes, no solution is effective.
Nevertheless, it is good to take precautions; physical precautions and spiritual precautions like Sadaqah, repenting and asking for forgiveness and protection of Allah جل جلاله. These precautions must be taken.
Not only physical precautions, but also spiritual precautions are necessary. Giving continuously by asking for protection of Allah جل جلاله . Sadaqah and seeking refuge in Allah جل جلاله is the greatest protection for us. Allah جل جلاله will protect us whenever He جل جلاله wants. Even if nothing happens, He جل جلاله will still protect us. Who doesn’t rely on Allah جل جلاله won’t escape the order of Allah جل جلاله no matter what he does. Therefore, relying on Allah جل جلاله and seeking refuge in Allah جل جلاله are necessary.
May Allah جل جلاله help us. May Allah جل جلاله protect us. “It is coming like this and like that” – Protection against it is through Dua to Allah جل جلاله. Otherwise, the condition of people is tough. May Allah جل جلاله help us.
As we said, as we are in the end of times, our Holy Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم had mentioned that in the end of times there would be many floods, earthquakes, fires and other disasters. May Allah جل جلاله protect us. May Allah جل جلاله give patience to people insha’Allah. May Allah جل جلاله help them. It is tough in the winter.
May Allah جل جلاله help us.

“الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ عَلَى كُلِّ حَالٍ”, “AlhamduliLlah a’la Kulli Hal”, “All praise and thanks be to Allah for every state.” Shukr to Allah ﷻ, we made our Ziyarah. Insha’Allah it was full of Barakah. Our intention was the pleasure of Allah ﷻ. We visited people in order to attain the pleasure of Allah ﷻ. May their hearts feel rejoiced and be full of Iman insha’Allah. May the goal be good for the ending to be good. May Allah ﷻ not separate us from the right way.
As we are living in the end of times now, people are having a tough time everywhere. Who holds onto the rope of Allah ﷻ will be saved. Who doesn’t hold onto the rope of Allah ﷻ, everything he does will go in vain.
Everything is in the Hand of Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla. Everything that has to happen is in His ﷻ Hand. You may accept it or not. If you accept it, all the sufferings and tests will return to you as Thawab. If you don’t accept, you will suffer for nothing and it will be useless. You will miss great things. You will miss from both sides.
Therefore, you must be happy and pleased with everything that comes from Allah ﷻ. You must make Dua. Dua prevents accidents and disasters. Heavens and earth stand with Dua. For them to remain standing, you should always make Dua which is remembering Allah ﷻ and turning to Allah ﷻ. Whoever turns to Allah ﷻ, Allah ﷻ rewards him. Even if it seems like punishment or badness, who trusts in Allah ﷻ and relies on Allah ﷻ will not go empty-handed. Allah ﷻ will protect him and reward him insha’Allah. May Allah ﷻ give this opportunity to all of us.
We must be happy for all good things that come. And may Allah ﷻ protect us; if there is hardship, we must rely on Allah ﷻ. He ﷻ will remove that hardship insha’Allah. Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla is powerful over everything. Don’t forget Him ﷻ. Don’t go against Him ﷻ and don’t rebel so that your life is not empty and without a reward. You must praise Him ﷻ and make Shukr for the favors given by Allah ﷻ. He ﷻ has endless favors.
Every minute, not only every minute but every second and moment we are living with His ﷻ generosity, virtue and blessing. Every breath is His ﷻ favor to us. There are people who can’t breathe. We see many people who carry around machines. There are people with disabled parts. They go into various machines. May Allah ﷻ protect us. May Allah ﷻ let us worship Him ﷻ safely insha’Allah.

BismiLlahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim: يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا اتَّقُوا اللَّهَ وَكُونُوا مَعَ الصَّادِقِينَ (Qur’ān 09:119). ‘Yā ‘Ayyuhā l-Ladhīna ‘Āmanū t-Taqū l-Llaha Wa Kūnū Ma’a s-Sādiqīn’, ‘O you who have believed, fear Allah and be with the truthful.’ Sadaqa Llāhu l-‘Aẓīm. Allah ﷻ is ordering to be afraid from Allah ﷻ: not to do any sin and not to do any bad thing for anyone. And to be with good people. Now AlhamduLillah we are gathering here. And everywhere we gather, Allah ﷻ send His ﷻ blessings and Barakah for all of you. Because you are gathering for the sake of Allah ﷻ, coming from a long distance and being together. AlhamduliLlah, Allah ﷻ gives happiness. To do ‘Ibadah, worshipping and to be with good people is a very good favor from Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla.
But we must insha’Allah continue to do this. And to continue this we must also be gathering with good people. This gives power, spiritual power for your Iman, for your belief. Not only few days, all the time. Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla is not changing. We are coming, going. Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla “هُوَ البَاقِي، هُوَ المَوْجُود”, “He ﷻ is Al-Baqi (The Everlasting One). He ﷻ is The Ever-Existent.” He ﷻ is not changing. Nothing affects Him ﷻ. Human beings cannot be every time together. But get a little bit together and after that continue [consistently].
Because this happiness is with Allah ﷻ. Allah ﷻ gives us this happiness to give for everybody to make a start for a new life insha’Allah. Because this life, what Prophet salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam loves in this life is to be good with family, with wife, with children, with relatives, with neighbors. With everybody, you must be good. You must even help in everything. But we must learn little by little because sometimes we feel that we don’t know. When doing something, we don’t know it is not good. But if you do the opposite, it will be good.
The first thing is: “إِمَاطَةُ الأَذَى عَنِ الطَّرِيقِ صَدَقَةٌ”, “Removing something harmful from the road is Sadaqa”, Prophet salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam is saying. To take out dirt or to take out [something] like a stone or plastic, to make the way clean is Sadaqah.
But unfortunately we see wherever we go, everywhere they are complaining about our Murids that if they go anywhere it is a mess. Some people invite them to dinner or another thing, after that you see it is not acceptable and not good. You must not only be praying, making Tasbih and other, “We are only doing for Allah ﷻ, no need to look [after others].” They throw everything here and there. No, you must also be clean and not make anybody unhappy with you.
We are seeing here and everywhere, from the north until here, not only Muslims, everywhere we see dirt, throwing garbage, throwing everything here and there. So maybe our Murids got used to this. But no, this is not acceptable. But if you take this [dirt] and put it in the dustbin, in the garbage, Allah ﷻ rewards you; meaning Sadaqah.
Sadaqah is not only by paying money or charity. Sadaqah is also to smile to your brother and to people, to help people. To take out anything [bad] from the road, way such as a stone or other thing, to put it aside is also Sadaqah. This Sadaqah we must do everyday. For each organ we have, we must pay Sadaqah, give Sadaqah. And this is one of the Sadaqah also. If you don’t have [money], this is a big Sadaqah also.
So insha’Allah for believers wherever they are going, you mustn’t make people complain from you. People must be happy [saying], “These people are Masha’Allah good and clean. And respect where they are.” This is also Naseeha (advice) for people, for everyone insha’Allah; firstly for us. May Allah ﷻ help us.
Insha’Allah we see you many times again. Insha’Allah we reach Sayyidina Al-Mahdi ‘alayhi s-salam soon insha’Allah. We are praying because it’s is difficult everywhere. As Mawlana Sheikh says, every day becomes worse than the one before. Now we hear everywhere there are very bad situations for people. They cannot find something to eat. Some people hide, some people are [living] under high pressure.
We are living in a time – insha’Allah after difficultly comes easiness. Insha’Allah with Sayyidina Al-Mahdi ‘alayhi s-salam. With any other thing, it cannot be. May Allah ﷻ make us reach these good days and to be from his followers insha’Allah.

Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla is saying that Mu’mins, Muslims are brothers, make them to be happy with each other. To say this is easy. Maybe people can be a little bit together. But when growing [in numbers], to make Fitnah is more easy for shaytan. They make people look for what’s not good in other people and say, “They are doing this. They are doing that.” Still, it was okay until of course this last century. Especially after the 70s, 1970, there has become more Fitnah. And it’s every day becoming more and more and more. For Muslims also there has become a very big Fitnah.
For human beings [there’s] also a big Fitnah – we also say “Fitnah” because they are destroying the nature of human beings. They are destroying everything: from food, from air, from drink, from everything, from the habits of people. They are doing this very strongly. So it is a time when we must be careful for ourselves to not believe everything you hear. Even everything you see also, don’t believe it. They are cheating in everything. Nothing is pure now. Everything is cheated by these people who are following their desires, what the ego wants and what shaytan wants. They are following that.
What’s important for us and more for Muslims is to be awake for what’s happening in the Muslim world. In the Muslim world 40 years or 50 years ago, you didn’t see anybody not accepting what we are doing. All the Muslim world was doing this: from Salawat, from Tasbih, from respect for Awliya, respect for Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم. You wouldn’t see anything from that. Beginning from Awliya or from ‘Ulama; all were respected. So about Prophet salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam, nobody could say anything. About praising him صلى الله عليه وسلم or about what you’re doing, nobody says any objection for what we are doing.
But after that, this Fitnah began everywhere in the Muslim countries. They are destroying the belief of Ahlu s-Sunnah wal Jama’ah. And this belief is our strong pillar of Iman. They say, “We are defending Islam. We are correcting Islam.” They’re not correcting Islam, they are destroying the pillar of Islam. Because Islam without Iman has no power. The pillar is Iman. If you don’t put the pillar in the building, a building without the pillar will collapse. With Iman, it holds. Since the last century, in which many things happened to Muslim countries after the Ottomans, all of these countries were occupied with not only non-Muslims but non-religious ones. They don’t accept any religion: no Muslim, no Christian, nothing at all. All of these countries saved their Iman with Tariqah. Tariqah has this. And when they finished this regime of nonbelievers, they came again.
We had been with Mawlana Sheikh in Dagestan, six or seven years after the Soviet Union collapsed and the freedom of religion came back. We had been there for Mawlid an-Nabi salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam. The whole country was celebrating Mawlid an-Nabi. Just six or seven years ago – if someone swore that there was communist regime here [you wouldn’t believe]. They didn’t even allow them to read Fatihah. Even nobody knew the Fatihah. Now this is the same country! You cannot believe that. That’s because they kept their belief by Tariqah.
And after that, what happened? When they came again, they made Fitnah to not make Islam strong, they made Fitnah to divide Muslims by bringing some people. They were saying to these people who were keeping Islam during all of this difficult time in secret – They told these people, “You are Mushrik. You are Kafir.” If these people weren’t there, you’d be a real Kafir, a real Mushrik! You wouldn’t know anything from religion. This Fitnah came and the whole Muslim world was suffering from it and is still suffering.
Now also a Fitnah is coming to divide more Muslims between themselves. Mawlana never liked to speak about this subject. About the subject of the Sahabah. “This is better than that. That is better than this. This is right. This is wrong.” Mawlana every time somebody wanted to open this subject, he would quickly get angry saying, “Don’t interfere. We don’t interfere with this.”
And now, I heard yesterday that this Fitnah happened around a mosque in Pakistan and here also. “Who is more high? Who is more respectable?” I don’t know why is this coming! Why are they asking these nonsense things making Fitnah! “ال ِفتْنَةُ نَا ِئ َمةٌ لَعَ َن هاللَُّ ِم ْن أَ ْيقَ َظ َها” Prophet salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam says, Fitnah is sleeping, Allah جل جلاله curses who makes it to wake up. This is only to make people more enemies to each other. Not “Ikhwa” to be brothers; No, to make people enemies. To make Mu’mins or Muslims be enemies to each other.
Still we have the enemies of Salafi and Wahhabi. That’s not enough, they are now making this to Tariqah people to divide them more and more. We say in a Turkish saying, “Su uyur düşman uyumaz.” Water sleeps but the enemy doesn’t sleep. Our enemy, the shaytan doesn’t sleep at all. It is not enough for him to make these people enemies to each other. Still he wants, more and more, to destroy, to not leave any Muslim, to not leave any Mu’min.
For this we are saying to our brothers and sisters: this subject that everybody can open, there’s no need to argue, to say this and to say that. What has reached us from our Mashayikh, we continue with this, without saying anything else. May Allah جل جلاله keep us away from Fitnah. Because Fitnah takes every good deed we do and make us to be broke, bankrupt. May Allah جل جلاله help us. May Allah جل جلاله send us Sayyidina Al-Mahdi ‘alayhi s-salam. He will finish all this Fitnah insha’Allah.

“LaDararwalaDirar”, “There should be neither harming nor reciprocating harm.” Which means, don’t harm. In Islam, there is no harming to anybody, and to do harm to anyone is forbidden. So you must know what you are doing. Without knowing, of course, Allah ﷻ forgives us. But if you know, and from your envy, from your Hasad you harm people, it is not acceptable. And from Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla’s Justice, He ﷻ doesn’t interfere in this.
If you do any sin, or you didn’t do other things [related to] Islam or what Allah ﷻ ordered you, this is a sin, but He ﷻ forgives. Allah ﷻ forgives everything except what you do to somebody. This person must forgive you. This is the Justice of Allah ﷻ. It is important. And it’s not easy to find [the person]. Maybe you disobey somebody or harm somebody, and he disappears. Where can you find him? Or he passes away, dies. How can you ask forgiveness from him, to forgive you and to be clean on Judgment Day?
Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla is not changing. He ﷻ is the only Real One. Nothing affects Him ﷻ. So anytime you ask for forgiveness before you die, Allah ﷻ forgives you. What you do wrong against Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla; all of this Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla forgives. He ﷻ is the Most Merciful, and He ﷻ forgives.
But if you do [harm] for anybody, for human beings or for other things, you cannot be forgiven by Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla unless you sincerely ask forgiveness, asking from Allah ﷻ to find this man and to make him forgive you. It is difficult.
For this, before doing anything you must know what you are doing. Harming innocent people is not acceptable. If you are in war or another thing, Islam only allows to fight army, not fight innocent people, kill innocent people or harm them.
Even this, they were very sensitive about it. Prophet salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam wasn’t putting any money with him. When he comes [back], he distributes it. Many times, he took loans from non-Muslims when they were in Madinah. And sometimes these non-Muslims were very tough, saying, “O you didn’t give me my loan!” So the Sahabah sometimes wanted to beat these people or harm them. Prophet salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam quickly prevented them, [saying] “They have a right. And we will give them their right. Don’t say anything to them.”
It is very important to live with people in peace. Don’t think, “I am making Jihad” and harm people, innocent people. This is not acceptable. May Allah ﷻ give Muslims good understanding, and to know what Allah ﷻ and Prophet salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam are showing. If you do that, non-Muslims can accept Islam. But now, what they are showing is against that. They are showing Islam and Muslims as not good people. And this is from the ignorant ones who came maybe since 50 years ago, making Islam and showing Islam as very bad. May Allah ﷻ help us. May Allah ﷻ keep us not following our ego insha’Allah. Wa min Allah at-Tawfiq. Al-Fatiha.

لَا يُكَلِّفُ ٱللَّهُ نَفْسًا إِلَّا وُسْعَهَا (Qur’ān 02:286). ‘’La yukallifu Llahu nafsan illa wus’aha’’ ‘’Allah does not charge a soul except [with that within] its capacity.’’
What Allah جل جلاله gives, what He جل جلاله orders, everybody can do. He جل جلاله is not giving more than what you can do. You can do easily. People and human beings can do what Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla orders. But also, they are not doing.
Of course, Prophet salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam said to the Sahabah, “What I order, you must do a hundred percent. Ninety-nine percent is not enough for you. You must do a hundred percent.” But he صلى الله عليه وسلم said for Akhiru z-Zaman, end of times, there will be people, if they do one percent, it is okay also for them.
So this is the mercy of Allah جل جلاله, and mercy of Prophet salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa- sallam . For his صلى الله عليه وسلم Ummah not to not forget Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla, to remember Him جل جلاله . Even one percent can be enough for them. Because the important thing is to remember Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla, to remember His جل جلاله order.
Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said that when somebody from that time stands for praying, immediately when he says Takbir, “Nawaytu Salatu Fard Dhuhr.” He makes “Allahu Akbar” quickly. But in some places, they are waiting trying to make maybe two minutes, three minutes until they say Takbir; no need for this. You are Akhiru z-Zaman Ummah, just quickly make Niyyah/intention for prayer and say Takbir. After that, Prophet salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam said that these people, after the Takbir they are thinking what they will do, where they will go, how’s work, how are the children, how’s Dunya. When they reach the last Rak’ah, they forget: “Did we pray three, we prayed five, we prayed two. What did we pray?” And they make Sajdat Sahw (prostration of forgetfulness), to cover [correct] the wrong they had done in praying: for what we forgot, or if we didn’t read something. They make two Sajdah for Allah جل جلاله to forgive them. This is acceptable.
We are living in a time which is a difficult time. But also, a blessed time for believers who are following the orders of Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla. We are not by our will in this time. By Allah’s جل جلاله wisdom, He جل جلاله put us in this time. And we must accept and be happy for His جل جلاله gift, His جل جلاله will that He جل جلاله made us on His جل جلاله way. This is important.
For this don’t make too much Waswas, “Is what we have done accepted or not accepted?” Of course, all what we do is nothing. But Allah جل جلاله with His جل جلاله Mercy, He جل جلاله created angels to correct what we do wrong even in reciting Qur’an, in praying or other things. In all of this, after you make intention and do as much as you can do, Allah جل جلاله forgives us for the rest and rewards us insha’Allah.
May Allah جل جلاله make us in His جل جلاله way and not be out of His جل جلاله way , in sha ‘Allah.

‘’Eat from whatever is on earth [that is] lawful and good.’’Sadaqa Llāhu l-‘Aẓīm.
Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla orders us to eat good things, Halal and not bad. For this, for our body, we must eat something to continue our life. Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla made Rizq, provision for everybody in Dunya. He must eat but he must look for the good thing to eat. And for it to be accepted on the way of Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla and as what He جل جلاله ordered. To eat what He جل جلاله wants. And what He جل جلاله doesn’t want, doesn’t accept, do not eat. If you eat this, it will not be good for you.
Like, you know, the meat of animal that you cannot eat and which you can eat.
Everybody knows from Muslims insha’Allah. For drinks also, you know alcohol is forbidden. And other things you cannot drink if it is poisoned or other. This is also not acceptable, not allowed. For what? For our benefit. You drink alcohol or you drink poison, it is the same. Also, you harm yourself. Allah جل جلاله doesn’t accept this: to harm yourself or harm others.
For this, we are living in a time when everything is not good. Everything is spoiled. In everything, they have changed what Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla created for the benefit of people. They have changed many things. They have played with it. And sometimes what’s most important becomes harm for people.
For this, you must look for the good thing, what’s of benefit for you. “Tayyib” means what is of benefit for yourself, for your body and for your soul also. Because it affects both sides.
We are living in a time when there’s many from food, from drink and such. And human beings cannot control themselves; they want more and more. And when they eat, they after that become ill. From where is this coming? Of course from what you eat . I think it is a Hadith .
“Thestomachisthehouseofdiseases, and diet is the best medicine.” I don’t know if it is a Hadith, but maybe. It means that the stomach is the house of illness, and to have a diet is the best medicine.
For this, now these people also look at what Islam is saying, and after that say, “Yes. This is very important.” What Islam is ordering is this good thing. And beside this, it is ordering to fast. When you fast, they said that what is not good – Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla created our body to be enough for us, no need for other things such as medicine or something. When you fast, your body eats this bad thing and throws it away.
Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla – SubhanAllah, SubhanAllah l-Aliyyi l-Azim – He created us and He جل جلاله told us how to use our body. Like if you buy some machine, you have instructions. Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla put these instructions for us from the first day till the end of our lives. We have these instructions, but nobody follows it. And after that they say, “This happened, that happened.” If you follow it, Bi-izniLlah (with Allah’s جل جلاله permission) nothing happens to you.
May Allah جل جلاله keep us in His جل جلاله way, and make us control ourselves in everything.

“Fitnah is asleep. May the curse of Allah be upon whoever awakens it.” Prophet salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam is telling about Fitnah. He ﷺ is cursing who makes Fitnah. In every time, there is Fitnah. But he ﷺ said, it is sleeping. So if you make a little thing [action], it will wake up. And who makes the Fitnah to wake up, Allah ﷻ curses him, says Prophet salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam.
We are living in time of Fitnah. Everywhere there is Fitnah. There are many Fitnah between Muslims. And of course, Muslims are many parts. There is division in Ahlu s-Sunnah which are not Ahlu s-Sunnah, out of the way of Ahlu s-Sunnah. Of course, out of Ahlu s-Sunnah there are many parts, many divisions. But Ahlu s-Sunnah were strong together until this Wahhabi Fitnah came and other Fitnah came again. So they also made Ahlu s-Sunnah take part of this, out of the way of Prophet salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam.
Ahlu s-Sunnah wal Jama’ah means who follow Prophet salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam. Prophet salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam said,
“أصحابيكالنّجومِبأيّهماِقتديتُماِهتديتُم”,
“Aṣhābīkān-nujūmbiayyihimqtadaytumhtadaytum”. Aw Kamā Qāl (or as he ﷺ said). “My companions are as the stars. Whichever you follow, you will be in Hidayah (guidance) in the right way.”
This is the way of Ahlu s-Sunnah wal Jama’ah. To make balance between everything. Not going to extremes. Sayyidina Ali Karrama Llahu Wajhah (May Allah exalt his face) said,
“A’lamaatul–Junooni ‘Imma ‘Ifratwa ‘ImmaTafreet”, “The signs of madness are either excess or negligence.” The sign of being with no mind, crazy, mad is to be extreme. This is the saying of Sayyidina Ali Karrama Llahu Wajhah. Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla also says,
‘وَكَذَٰلِكَ جَعَلْنَاكُمْ أُمَّةً وَسَطًا’,
‘Wakadhalikaja’alnākum ‘ummatanwasatāa’, ‘Thus We have appointed you a middle nation.’ (Qur’ān 02:143). You are not extreme, He ﷻ said. Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla made you in the middle. In everything you must be in the middle, not going to extremes.
So for this, who follows Ahlu s-Sunnah wal Jama’ah must know that the companions of Prophet salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam are very precious. And Ahlu l-Bayt are also very precious. This is the belief of Ahlu s-Sunnah wal Jama’ah. What they had done, what had happened, we don’t interfere. It is not our business. Our business is to look at ourselves. Not to interfere with the Sahabah, “This is right. This is wrong.” Because we don’t even know how to walk, so how can we judge and say this!
So we are asking from Muslims, Ahlu s-Sunnah wal Jama’ah scholars or others, to not make something harming Muslims. Because many Muslims follow ‘Ulama, follow scholars. Many of them believe and accept what they say. For this, if you are ‘Alim and you make Fitnah, Allah ﷻ curses you more than normal people.
For this, we must be careful, very careful not to make anything that can cause Fitnah for Muslims, for Ahlu s-Sunnah wal Jama’ah. We have enough Fitnah everywhere; attacking from inside and from outside. From every side, we are in Fitnah, big Fitnah. So we must be together, Ahlu s-Sunnah wal Jama’ah. And to love each other, to respect each other. And to know that Prophet salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam will be happy with you and Allah ﷻ will be happy with you when you follow him ﷺ. Not putting new ideas and new things. The main Tariqah are Ahlu s-Sunnah wal Jama’ah. And this is coming from Prophet salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam until our time. All Tariqah are like this. So be careful not to be cursed. If you are cursed, you will lose everything.
For this, follow the way of Tariqah which is Ahlu s-Sunnah wal Jama’ah. The strongest way to follow. If you are out, many people can cheat you. You follow them and think you are doing good, but you are doing wrong. May Allah ﷻ protect Ahlu s-Sunnah and all Muslims. And may Allah ﷻ give Hidayah (guidance) to others also to follow this nice way, beautiful way insha’Allah.

Ṭarīqatunā aṣ-Suḥbah wa l-Khayru fi l-Jam‘iyyah.
AstaghfiruLlah. AstaghfiruLlah. AstaghfiruLlah l-Azim wa Atubu ilayh.
AlhamduliLlah wa sh-Shukru li-Llah for His جل جلاله favor. We meet with good people, with beloved people for Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla in this night. Tomorrow a holy night is coming: The First is ShahruLlah “Month of Allah جل جلاله”, Shahru (month of) Rajab.
Shahru Rajab, Shahru Sha’ban and Shahru Ramadan: three months that are a very important season for collecting rewards and collecting Allah’s جل جلاله favors. This is for Awliya, for Tariqah, for sincere Mu’mins. It is an occasion to remember Akhirah and to work for Akhirah. With everything you do, you remember Akhirah. You do it for the benefit of people. People who are in need of these blessed days, special days. The first one is Rajab ShahruLlah. The second is Sha’ban Shahr of Prophet salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam, month of Prophet salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam. The third is Ramadan: the the Shahr, month of the Ummah.
Each one has special days also. The first one (Rajab)has: the first Thursday which is a holy blessed night, and on the 27th (of Rajab) is also a blessed day which is Isra’ and Mi’raj. In Sha’ban also: the 15th of Sha’ban, Laylatu Ragha’ib in which is given what will happen next year. It will be written in heaven what we will have. Many people maybe their name is written to reach the second year, it will be there. The third is Shahru Ramadan.
The holy Ramadan is all blessed. Especially the last 10 days of Ramadan, in which Prophet salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa- sallam was doing Itikaf during all these days. And Laylatu l-Qadr which comes most of the time in the last 10 days of Ramadan, but it may also be in all of Ramadan. Prophet salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam says it can be in the whole year even. It is hidden, but it mostly comes in Ramadan. For this, these three months are special for Tariqah people; very special and very respected.
Mawlana Sheikh was also, his whole life, going and traveling to people in these three months. Until 1974, he had been traveling to Cyprus from Damascus. From that time, he had been coming to London, England. You know. Many people know. When it was Ramadan, it was very special in his time. He was for 3 months here. But especially in Ramadan, all people were coming from all around the world; from Far East, Far West, North, South. All of them spent one month with him: praying, fasting, doing Tasbihat, Tahlilat, and Sohbah in his presence. It was like Paradise for people.
Now people say that we must do this, but this passed. Not every time (is the same).The Tajjali (manifestation) changes. Our Tajalli, Hal (state) is different from Mawlana. Mawlana Masha’Allah, Mawlana Sheikh Nazim is the Real Sultan. Everything with him and for him was easy. Even now, many times people ask us, “Come here. Go here.” Our time is strange, it is very tight. With Mawlana Sheikh – there are Awliya who have Karamah of Tayyu Makan. Tayyu Makan means when they want to go somewhere, in one step they can be in Makkah, in one step they can be in Madinah. Many times, they pray there then come (back)and pray again with Jama’ah also. This is famous for Awliyau’Llah.
But for another also: Tayyu Zaman. Zaman means time. The time can be wider. In one day they can do what we are maybe doing in one week. This was Mawlana’s real Karamah. In his last days, people were coming every day. He was meeting nearly, at least 100 people. How! And he was listening to people slowly slowly (taking their time). When we listen, “Quickly, quickly” they say. But he was listening to all of them, and finishing with all of them. It was a real – he has thousands of Karamah, but this is one that you can see, you cannot deny it.
AlhamduliLlah this is what his time was. That time when he was coming to London, to England, to this side also. He was very easily going, coming and meeting thousands of people. Now we are hearing – we know many Karamah of Mawlana but every time we hear a new one. What is this! Masha’Allah! We have never heard of it! What we know from his Karamah is maybe one percent. There is a thousand percent. Even some saw Mawlana once, with his Karamah he appeared for them. Yes.
AlhamduliLlah these are Awliyau’Llah. He is the greatest Awliya in this century; he is the greatest. What was said here or what others said, all are from his Karamah. He sent you to gather here. We are only like a mirror, a small mirror of him. Somebody must appear for people to collect around him. He said, “He (Mawlana Sheikh Muhammad) is Khalifah. I now have work on the other side.”
So he is still acting, sending all of you to gather to continue his way, way of Prophet salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam. Once before passing away, he said, “Insha’Allah I am leaving.” My brother said, “How will we live! What will we do!” He said, “This is Tariqah, way of Allah جل جلاله. One after one, it will continue. It is not cut when somebody changes his world. It will continue and we will have help insha’Allah.” AlhamduliLlah we are here with his Barakah. Even when we speak two words, this Barakah comes to all of you insha’Allah; Barakah of Mashayikh and Barakah of this gathering. One of – Masha’Allah there are many Awliyau’Llah here, one of them is enough Barakah for all of you insha’Allah.
Now, as we said, this month is Rajab. It is the month of Khalwah (seclusion). In Tariqah we have the Adab of Khalwah, which means for 40 days, to stay in such a place without meeting people and with little bit of eating. It is with order: to do this. Without order, you cannot do this. But Tariqah people must do it. Even if they don’t make it here, they will make it in the grave. But AlhamduliLlah Mawlana Sheikh said, in order to make it easy for people, from 1st of Rajab until the 10th of Sha’ban, you can make [Partial] Khalwah. You say the intention “Nawaytu l-Khalwah” and you can make it between Tahajjud and Ishraq, or between Asr and Isha, or from Asr to Maghrib, Maghrib to Isha. You can do it also. And then you can go, no need for you to stay in one place. Because nowadays there is no permission (for Khalwah). This permission, this order is coming from Prophet salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam. And in this time, nobody has permission. So for all of us, who can do it, they must do it. As we said, between Tahajjud and Ishraq. You can make Tasbihat, Qur’an, Salawat, Durood, Dalail Al Khayrat; you can do anything. Or between Maghrib and Isha. This is a must. Who has never done it must do it at least once.
Other (worship) also. If anybody likes to fast all of Rajab and Sha’ban, they can also. Or Mondays and Thursdays, they can also. They have big reward. Sha’ban is also the same. Ramadan, of course, everybody (fasts).
And in Ramadan many people, or before Ramadan also, like to go to Umrah. They also have permission. But who haven’t done Hajj, it is better for them – Every time people ask to go for Umrah, (we ask)“Did you make Hajj?” “No.” Hajj is obligatory, Fard. So before Umrah, don’t put your money for Umrah. Collect them and go for Hajj. After Hajj, if you like you can go to Umrah. But who has not done Hajj yet, he must keep his money for Hajj. And insha’Allah its intention when you do this, if Allah جل جلاله gives you a long life, (you’ll go). But if somebody died before going to Hajj and his intention is to collect this [money], Allah جل جلاله rewards him as if he has done Hajj. Yes.
And of course Zakat. Masha’Allah people here are sensitive about Zakat. They give their Zakat for poor people. There are many poor people in your country Pakistan, Africa or the other side. All of them (do so)AlhamduliLlah. This is very important. Because if you keep your Zakat and not give it, you make your money dirty. When you give, your money becomes clean. Clean (money) makes your health, makes your life, your family’s life and your relatives’ life all good. But if you don’t give and you put this money, this becomes poison to everybody.
May Allah جل جلاله make us do what He جل جلاله orders us . Because everything He جل جلاله orders for us is hundred percent good, hundred percent Shifa’ (cure), hundred percent light and happiness. What He جل جلاله orders us is every good thing.
For this, Tariqah people like to make more and more of what Allah جل جلاله orders.
And My servant continues to draw near to me with Nafil (supererogatory deeds until I Love him. When I Love him, I am his hearing with which he hears, and his sight with which he sees, and his hand with which he strikes, and his foot with which he walks.” Allah جل جلاله is saying that “My جل جلاله servant” with Nafl, praying, or fasting, or doing Sadaqah or what they are doing, are coming more and more towards Allah جل جلاله. And when they do this Allah جل جلاله helps them. He جل جلاله says, “I will be their hand, I will be their foot which they walk.” In everything, Allah جل جلاله will be with you, helping you; not against you.
May Allah جل جلاله makes us on this way, way of Awliya’u s-Saliheen (The Righteous Awliya), way of all Tariqah people. As our sons were saying about Awliyau’Llah, Masha’Allah. With them Islam is coming until now strongly, and insha’Allah until Qiyamah it will be the same insha’Allah. Baaraka Llah Fikum.

It is the month of Rajab, may Allah ﷻ make it mubarak for all of you, for the Muslim world InshaAllah. We come to His door, the door of Allah ﷻ. Allah ﷻ is calling people to the the house of peace, to His paradise.
He is calling people for this but people, they do not want these good things, they are running after bad things.
Allah ﷻ, He is not in need to anybody, even if they all are coming, nothing will be more for Allah ﷻ. And if nobody comes, also it does not have any affect for Allah ﷻ, we are in need of Allah ﷻ, He is not in need, for His whole Mightiness, there is no limit for His Mightiness.
He is asking, and our grant, it is like dust in this universe. And we are inside, what? We are not dust, nothing at all. And Allah ﷻ, He gave us value and asked you to come to Him, and you are running, saying no, not believing. Believer, non-believer, we will see about that later what you will lose. There is no second chance for you. If you go from this dunya without belief, there is no second chance. Until the end of your life, you can come back and Allah ﷻ will accept you. He will not refuse you, He is very Merciful.
This month, Rajab, is month for Allah ﷻ and this month, there are many things. The first Thursday night, it is a holy and blessed night in which Allah ﷻ accepts the prayers and dua that you want. You must ask on this night, you must be at least be praying Isha and sleeping with wudu, and wake up for Fajr or before Fajr and make dua. Allah ﷻ, He said I am accepting this dua. This is the first night, all the nights are blessed in this month, whole month is blessed.
Second one, 27th Rajab is a very blessed night also in which Allah ﷻ invited Prophetﷺ to his Divine Presence. First from Makkah to Quds, this is night journey, and after to heaven.
At Quds, he became Imam for all Prophets on this night, and they were praying behind him. He is the most beloved one for Allah ﷻ and all Prophets, they would like to be from his nation, so they are praying behind him. All of them.
After this Allah ﷻ ordered Jibra’il عَلَيْهِ ٱلسَّلَامُ to take him to heaven. This is a very long story, but from 1st heaven, 2nd heaven, 3rd heaven, 4th, 5th,6th,7th heaven. Each heaven, there is one Prophet عَلَيْهِ ٱلسَّلَامُ asking who is coming, and they are saying Prophetﷺ and they are very happy. Welcoming him, and second heaven, they are coming, 4th, 5th,6th,7th heaven, until Sayyiduna Jibra’il عَلَيْهِ ٱلسَّلَامُ he said, “from here your maqam, only you can go behind this, I cannot go there. I can’t go from here because Allah ﷻ did not give me permission. If I go, I will burn.”
After this he was in Divine Presence of Allah ﷻ, which we don’t know how and what happened, how it is, what it is. Nobody knows, because this is only for Prophetﷺ, because our imaginations, our mind cannot reach at all, this maqam, this place. Nobody has reached this place before. Allah ﷻ made this special for Prophetﷺ.
Some crazy people with the mind, the brain like a chicken brain, they saying it was in a dream. Everybody dreams, many people dream many things. It is not impossible to dream, every kind of dreams, but these people, they have only a very small brain and they said this. And Allah ﷻ we don’t know happened. We know that it is forbidden for Jibra’il عَلَيْهِ ٱلسَّلَامُ, it is forbidden. And for us it is more forbidden to ask. We just accept and
Allah ﷻ made special for Prophetﷺ , that which nobody can reach, such a high maqam.
After this, of course, there is the hadiya of praying from Allah ﷻ for the Ummah, it was 50 prayers, then became 5 time. Sayyiduna Musa عَلَيْهِ ٱلسَّلَامُ because he had experience from his nation, every time coming, he said too much bargaining, 45.40,35,30,25,20,15,10,5 and Sayyiduna Musa عَلَيْهِ ٱلسَّلَامُ, their nation is very famous for bargaining with tijarat, trading. He said 5 is too much. He was right because nobody prays 5 times. But our Prophetﷺ said no I cannot say, 5 is ok. And last two ayahs from Surah Al-Baqarah, Amana Rasulu, this is also hadiya for the Ummmah. So this is direct, without Jibra’il عَلَيْهِ ٱلسَّلَامُ.
The other thing, Prophetﷺ he went and saw how people were in jahanum, suffering in jahanum. Jannah he was seeing also. He came back and some people asking how that time was like this. Because for Allah ﷻ time does not affect Him, time is a creation, not normal thing, He created this for people. Allah ﷻ can see before, and if He wants, make people to see before and see after also. This is also the meaning of prophecy, to see, to tell what will happen later, also from prophecy.
After he came back to Makkah, it was two hours but it is like thousand years, he was there, everywhere, he was not tired. Time comes in a small time but when Allah ﷻ wants, he expands that same time, thousand years to two hours.
And then when Prophetﷺ coming to Makkah, he saying what he saw for people to come and believe in Allah ﷻ but the mushrik, they were happy with this. They said that this will finish Muhammad ﷺ. They said nobody can do this, nobody will believe this. Laughing and calling other people, and telling other people.
At that time there were not many Sahaba, only 40,50 people. And then these people are coming to Sayyiduna Abu Bakr Siddiq, “do you hear what you’re friend is saying?” He asked what is it and they said he is saying he went to Quds and then he went to the heavens. Do you believe this? They said, he said this? They said yes he said it and he said “ok i believe if he said, then I believe him.” They only asking if he said or others saying. So from this, his name became Siddiq, strong believer.
So Siddiq, coming from Prophetﷺ to Siddiq, Salaman, Jaf’ar, this all coming, for tariqah, until now, coming from this line of believers InshaAllah. Before the tariqa name was Siddiqiyah and this was from this holy night that we InshaAllah, we celebrate also. And Allah ﷻ give from his Mercy, barakah for everyone. We are believer and this is what Prophetﷺ said, and he has seen jannah and jahanum, what people who are not believers.
If you are politician we do not believe you, if you are an artist we do not believe you, if you’re a trader maybe you cheat us, but Prophetﷺ we believe you. Even the mushriq, they were believing him, even when time came and they not believing him but they are putting all their treasures, their possessions into his house, and when they come he gives to them. Even until they was enemy and not believing, they still trust him. But from their proudness they would not accept him.
Proudness is a very bad thing. People can die without iman with this proudness. This is what happened for mushriq, most of them. May Allah ﷻ help us and be humble people for Allah ﷻ, not useless people, to be humble for poor people and for believers. But if someone being proud and saying bad things, then don’t be humble for him, you must be more proud for him.
There was one in Ghazwa, there was fighting and war between munafiqs and Muslims. There was one big sword and Prophetﷺ was saying who can give this sword value and price. Someone come and they said not for you, others come and they said no, and in the end there was one Sahabi, I have forgot his name, he is very big. They said take this, and you will give. He said yes and he wore his red turban and he was going, making such movements (side to side) that make him very proud. Prophetﷺ saying, is this what you do? Allah ﷻ and Prophetﷺ do not like this, but now I like this. He was going like cutting grass (with the sword in hand).
So some place, you must have wisdom, when you must speak gently, when you must speak some places little bit harsh, when you must be proud, and when you must be humble. This is also from adab of tariqah. Tariqah, Shariah, are the same but maybe for some people, they think different. This is what Muslim, he should know, tariqah people they should know, this is adab. Not to be afraid of people. Sometimes you must be afraid; sometime you must say what is needed.
May Allah ﷻ give us InshaAllah wisdom for the sake of Prophetﷺ

“Rejab is My month…”, said Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla. Its knowledge is in His ﷻ Presence. Allahﷻ is Generous and Hisﷻ Generosity has no boundaries. All of its nights are special but there are two extraordinary special nights, Lailatul Ragha’ib and Lailatul Isra Miraj. Ask Allahﷻ for the Favours of them as much as possible.
InSha’Allah, the first of the three holy months, Rejab the Month of Forgiveness, is approaching in a day.
“The month of Rajab is the month of Allah( ﷻ), therefore they say: “Fī Rajab aral ‘ajā’ib,” “In the month of Rajab you see wonders; strange things may happen.” You see Allah’s Power in the month of Rajab. Different states occur during this month.” – Mawlana Shaykh Muhammad Adilق

Practices For Sunday, 22nd January 2023
📌 Fast on Sunday if you can, to welcome the Holy month in the state of fasting.
📌 Perform Ghusl (full ritual ablution) before Asar.
