Loaded with Sins or Rewards

May Allah ﷻ make it Mubarak. The holy Eid ul-Adha and the feast of Hajjis have passed. May both be of Barakah and goodness. The worship performed is a great worship. Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla gave it to us, to Ummati Muhammad ﷺ as a gift. This performed worship is not for difficulty. Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla gave it as a gift for our benefit. It is given to people and Jinns.

People and Jinns are creatures that will be questioned in Akhirah. Their worship is given by Allah ﷻ as a favor to them. All of the other creatures make Tasbih of Allah. “وَإِن مِّن شَيْءٍ إِلَّا يُسَبِّحُ بِحَمْدِهِ”, “Wa ‘In Min Shay’in ‘Illā Yusabbiĥu Biĥamdihi”, “And there is not a thing except that it exalts [ Allah ] by His praise.” (Qur’an 17:44). They do Tasbih wherever they are. But for the rest, for people and Jinns, it is Fard to perform worship. We must know this.

It is understood wrongly. They think there is benefit for Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla when they pray or go to Hajj. Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla is the Creator. He ﷻ doesn’t need anything. He ﷻ is not in need of anything. We are the ones who are in need. And He ﷻ has given us this need. But people look at it as difficulty. They think they don’t need it, whereas these things are more necessary than eating, drinking and breathing. Because when this world is over, they will stay forever. They will stay in the presence of Allah ﷻ and be useful to you in Akhirah.

Otherwise, you will have nothing. You will go empty-handed. And going empty-handed is not as we know it. It has its account. “Why did you waste your life? Why did you not worship? Why did you not follow the order of Allah ﷻ? Why did you not obey Allah ﷻ? Why did you not accept the favors given to you?” You will be questioned as such.

Therefore, there is nothing like we come empty-handed and go empty-handed. We came empty-handed. But we will go either loaded with sins, or loaded with goodness and Thawab. There is not another option. May Allah ﷻ protect us. Our way is the beautiful way, the way of Prophets, the way of our Holy Prophet ﷺ. May we keep on to it insha’Allah.

We are still in blessed days, in blessed months. We are in Ashhuru l-Hurum and the months of Hajj. They are much more virtuous months and with more Barakah. We should always keep in our mind our worship, everything of ours and that we are with Allah ﷻ. Because mankind becomes absentminded and falls into heedlessness. Whoever becomes heedless loses many things. They say, “I’ve got inattentive for a minute”. May Allah ﷻ not let that happen, if you become absentminded for a minute while driving a car, many things may happen. May Allah ﷻ help us and protect us so that we don’t fall into heedlessness at all, not even for a second insha’Allah. May Allah ﷻ give strength to all of us insha’Allah. Wa min Allah at-Tawfiq. Al-Fatiha.

There are recited Qur’an Khatms, Surahs and Ayat, Yasin, Tasbihat, Tahlilat and Salawat; goodness and charity done. We gift them to our Holy Prophet ﷺ, his Ahlu l-Bayt and Sahabah, to the souls of all Anbiya, Awliya, Asfiya and Mashayikh, the souls of all of our late relatives. For goodness to come and evil to be gone.
