First 10 Days of Mercy

السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

In Loving Memory of Sheikh Muhammad Abdul Sattar Khan – Ramadhan Series

Here is a short synopsis of a Sohbah given by Almarhum Sheikh Abdul Sattar Khan on 15 April 2021:

The Holy Month of Ramadhan sees its first ten days as Allah ﷻ raining Mercy onto the believers.

Take heed. Fill every single moment of these days in Zikrullah.

1. Pay careful attention to Fridays.

Complete the practices of Jumaah and do Salawat on our Holy Prophet ﷺ abundantly.

Those who do not get to perform Solatul Jumaah in the mosques, should not leave the prayer or treat Jumaah as an ordinary day.

2. Be in constant Zikrullah.

Mentioned in a Hadith, two things dear to Allah ﷻ in Ramadhan are:

the one testifying, ‘La ilaha illallah’

and

• the one begging for forgiveness, ‘Astaghfirullah

Two things dear to the believers are:

• Eternity in Paradise

and

• Salvation from Allah’s Punishment

For this, recite in abundance the following:

3. Make Du’a fervently in Holy Ramadhan Sharif.

Beg for Allah ﷻ to:

• Open blindness of the eyes

• Forgive every bad action, assumption and thought in your past

• Forgive the hurt you caused to the hearts of others, since your youth until now

• Forgive and cleanse all your ancestors and descendants from their sins

Every atom of goodness you do, you will see it, and for every atom of evil you did, you will see it too.

May Allah ﷻ grant us His Mercy and help us to persevere in our worshipping in this Holy Month, despite all difficulties and challenges we face, with the firm handhold of our Guide.
