Adab of Obeying Allāh ﷻ

Bismi Llāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm

AlhamduliLlah, we reached this day, a blessed day. May Allāh ﷻ accept our du’ā’, our prayers. We are not claiming we are doing good. We are just trying to obey Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla. He ﷻ ordered us to pray, fast, make Zakat. All of this is His ﷻ order. And what we can do, Allāh ﷻ accepts. Because we are not claiming we are doing the best. No, what we do is nothing. But this is adab of obeying the order of Allāh ﷻ. Human beings must have adab. To obey: they must even know that it is nothing. There’s no value for what we are doing. The only value is that we are all following the order of Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla.

“هَٰذَا مِن فَضْلِ رَبِّي”, “Hadha Min Fadhli Rabbi”, “This is by the grace of my Lord.” This is the favor of Allāh ﷻ. He ﷻ made us to pray, to come together for His ﷻ love, to give charity, give Zakat, going hajj, coming here, going there. All this is from the favor of Allāh ﷻ. Don’t think you do anything. For this, we just ask forgiveness from Allāh ﷻ to forgive us and to continue His ﷻ favor upon us and all Muslims, and to give hidayah for Muslims.

Of course, if you are saying, “I follow ṭarīqah. I am from that family, from this family,” and you are not doing what Allāh ﷻ ordered, there’s no value for anything you do. Especially there’s some kind of people who say, “We are not praying but the whole day we make dhikr of Allāh ﷻ from morning to midnight without cutting.” If you do a million years, it is not equal to one Takbir. For this, don’t be proud, “I am from this family. I am from that family. I am from ṭarīqah but I am not doing anything,” it has no effect. Just have good behavior, adab and follow what Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla says, and be sure Allāh ﷻ will be happy with you insha’Allah, and He ﷻ accepts our deeds. Our deeds are not complete, but He ﷻ accepts them and He ﷻ is happy with us alhamduliLlah.

This is good tidings for ṭarīqah people, especially Naqshbandi ṭarīqah which is holding all other ṭarīqahs from going away from sharī’ah. It holds them all like a magnet. Because without this, many of them will still be in ṭarīqah, but there is some kind of way that they will go out from this way. As some say, “We are from this ṭarīqah and it is for us,” but there’s no benefit. Our ṭarīqah is holding all ṭarīqahs to Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam, to be safe from any bad intention, any badness out of sharī’ah. The Naqshbandi ṭarīqah is a strong way to Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla. We are thanking Allāh ﷻ for this.

In shā’a Llāh, today many people made Khatm ul-Qur’an, they made salawat, they made awrād, they read Ayāt, Surahs all for this intention, Allāh ﷻ accepts. We send this to Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam.

Ila sharafi’ ‘n-Nabi, sallaLlahu `alayhi wa sallam wa Alihi wa Asahabihi l-kiram, wa ila arwahi jamee’i al Anbiya’i wa l-Mursalin wa Khudama’i sharai’ihim wa ila arwahi al ‘Aimmati al arba’a, wa ila arwahi Mashayyikhina fi t-Tariqati n-Naqshbandiyyati l-Aliyyah, khassatan Imamu t-Tariqah wa Ghawthu l-Khaliqah Khwaja Bahauddin Muhammad al-Uwaisiyi l-Bukhari, Sayyidina Abdul Khaliq al Ghujduwani, Mawlana Shaykh Sharafuddin al Daghestani, Mawlana Shaykh Abdullah al Faiz al Daghestani, Mawlana Shaykh Muhammad Nazim Adil al Haqqani, wa sai’ri Sadatina wa s-Siddiqiyun, amwatuna wa amwat al-muslimin, Li-Llahi Ta’ala.
