Worse than Lūt’s Nation

Bismi Llāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm

Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam says, “الدِّين النَّصِيحَة”, “Ad-Dīnu n-Naṣīḥah”, “Religion is advice”. Everybody is asking for naṣīḥah which means advice. When somebody asks you – “المستشارَ مؤتمنٌ”, “Who is consulted is in a position of trust”, says Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam. The one you ask something must be honest. For this, the naṣīḥah is very important in religion for showing the good thing, showing the way, the good way, every good thing for you in life, for dunyā and for ākhirah.

Who asks for naṣīḥah – people ask naṣīḥah for good things. Not naṣīḥah: how will I rob these people? How will I kill these people? How will I cheat these people? This is not naṣīḥah. And they are not asking this much. They are doing so by themselves. These people shayṭān teaches them. There’s no need for naṣīḥah for these people. Naṣīḥah is to prevent doing bad things. Our doors, door of ṭarīqah, door of Allāh ﷻ is for people who are asking for the good thing. Goodness brings goodness. Badness brings badness; it never brings good. The bad thing never brings good.

So we must be very careful about those who say, “I’m in ṭarīqah,” and are cheating people, saying something that’s not in ṭarīqah, not acceptable in religion, not acceptable in the time of normal people; not like this time now when everything is upside down. We cannot say so about now. But in the normal time, everything good would bring good. And the bad every time brings bad. Maybe you enjoy yourself for one minute, two minutes. After that, nothing. Again, you want to do this bad thing. You think you are enjoying yourself. But it is like a fire; every time you throw wood or you throw anything burning, petrol or anything, it becomes more upon you. You will not be happy with this.

This has become all around the world. This bad thing is spreading from east to west; not only in western countries. This bad thing is growing everywhere. Why? Because Allāh ﷻ has given them many things from His ﷻ favors; money, cars, jewelry, work, everything. Now they say there is poorness in the world. It is not true. The first time I went to Hajj, you can hardly find a fat man or a fat woman – I only saw Egyptians were fat and Iraqis. The others were like bone and skin; nothing. Now you go, masha’Allah, like a herd of cows; everybody, masha’Allah. From where is this? Because they have many things. And they are eating and growing their desire, growing their ego.

Those following sharī’ah also have now given themselves fatwa to do anything ḥarām. “We make a fatwa according to this Madhhab, maybe according to Ithna-‘Ashari (Twelver) Madhhab, or another Madhhab or I don’t know which Madhhab, you can marry twenty women, you can take woman as jāriyah.” This is now SubhanAllah all these are only thinking from stomach and down; nothing else. This is, unfortunately, what we see and what we hear about. Of course, also from up: to sniff from the nose or from anything else. They are doing all of this. Muslims are doing this also! This is very sad! Allāh ﷻ gave you all this and you are doing this! “يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا قُوا أَنفُسَكُمْ وَأَهْلِيكُمْ نَارًا وَقُودُهَا النَّاسُ وَالْحِجَارَةُ”, “Yā ’Ayyuhā Al-Ladhīna ’Āmanū Qū ’Anfusakum Wa ’Ahlīkum Nārāan Waqūduhā An-Nāsu Wa Al-Ĥijārah”, “O you who have believed, protect yourselves and your families from a Fire whose fuel is people and stones.” (Qur’ān 66:06).

This means: O people, O human beings! Be aware from hell! How is hell fire lit? With stone and people. Because when they are thrown in Jahannam, they will be like a mountain. Each one thrown in Jahannam will be above the other like a mountain. Not like the mountain in England; it is a small one. It is like the Himalayas. So it will fuel with stones and the people. Why is this? Because they are doing all this. Even with what Allāh ﷻ gave them, they’re doing this ḥarām, doing this bad thing. After that what happens? First, their īmān is gone. After that, their Islām is also gone from them. They become real kāfir, atheists. They become not accepting.

For this, we are very surely saying for who are cheated by these people, be careful! The ṭarīqah, our ṭarīqah, naqshbandī is most careful of sharī’ah. Sharī’ah is very important for us. You cannot do as you like. You cannot give fatwa as you like. You must be very aware. This is for the benefit of each one, for the benefit of the society you are living in. When one apple – every time we give this example – when one apple is rotten in a box of apples, all the apples will be finished. And normally- now I cannot go too much to the garden for work – We take maybe ten people, masha’Allah they’re working very good. If one of them is not working, he affects all of them. For this, I separate them, “You stay here. Only make khidmah in dergah. If you like to sleep, sleep. If you like to go, go. But don’t come with us.” This is important.

For this, when some bad one is in the family, he cheats his wife all the time. I’ve heard this many times. I’ve heard this story many times in this one week. He says he prays five times masha’Allah. Allāh ﷻ will throw these prayers in his face. “He is a Murīd”, he also says. The Shaykh will spit on his face. Unfortunately, they come to ṭarīqah and say “We are following” and then they continue like this. You are coming for advice for your life. Be good! Don’t make ḥarām! Don’t follow your ego! Because this ḥarām will not be enough for you. If the whole world is women, even this will not be enough for you.

As Mawlānā Shaykh was saying, a man who is good with his wife, Allāh ﷻ protects him from other women; not looking outside. But if he’s looking, it will be a curse upon him, he will never be satisfied. And zina (adultery) will make him poor! The first and biggest consequence for this if he’s not stopping and not asking for forgiveness from Allāh ﷻ, is that he will become poor eventually, having no money. And when he has no money, no bad woman will look at his face. No loyalty. Their loyalty is only for money. And when this man is making zina, he will become poor, and he will have nobody, even his wife. He will lose his wife, and he will just be suffering in dunyā. And in ākhirah, he will be in Jahannam also. May Allāh ﷻ protect us.

For this, be very careful. Don’t fall for somebody wearing turban, Jubbah saying, “Okay, we have fatwa from Mawlānā, from Shaykh, from others.” Don’t believe them. We never accept ḥarām. We do not accept ḥarām. It is destroying families, destroying children; because the children also will be like him. I’m very sad about this. All day, every day I’m hearing this same story. They are sending and saying this. And people are still believing some people. They say, “Yes Islām approves this for them.”

Most of these non-Madhhab people are doing this. They say, “We go to Europe, there is jāriyah, there is I don’t know what it is, this is ḥalāl for us.” It can never be ḥalāl. They don’t know any ḥalāl or ḥarām. And when it comes to you praying, and making salawāt upon Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam, they say “This is Bid’ah, this is ḥarām, this is shirk.” But when they are doing every bad thing with women, with not-women, it is ḥalāl for them.So we must be very careful not to look at this.

Don’t look at bad things, bad movies or anything else. And shayṭān has put this everywhere in the telephone. Sometimes when you open the telephone, they quickly put a bad dirty picture. Shayṭān is everywhere. So be careful! Be strong! Have a strong will! Don’t look at this. Allāh ﷻ will be happy with you, Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam will be happy with you. And you protect your family, your society, your jamā’ah. All will be protected with this, in shā’a Llāh. May Allāh ﷻ protect us. This is the most difficult fitnah. Really, this time is even worse than the time of Sayyidina Lūt. It is worse than Sodom and Gomorrah. That time, it was only in two cities. Now the whole world. And when you say something; it is forbidden to say it is not good.

For this, may Allāh ﷻ protect us. We must protect ourselves because shayṭān is in full power attacking human beings, not only Muslims, but attacking all human beings. May Allāh ﷻ send us Sayyidina Al-Mahdi ‘alayhi s-salām to save us. Really, we are sinking. Not thinking, sinking. Egyptians say, “About what you sinking?” [Malwāna laughs]. The whole world is sinking. Like Qārūn with his money. Now they have too much money, they are sinking all under the sewage; not in earth but under the sewage, we are all sinking together. May Allāh ﷻ save us from them. Ya Allāh ﷻ, Ya Rabb. Wa min Allah at-Tawfiq.
