The Real Culprit Behind The Palestinian Crisis

Bismi Llāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm

May Allāh ﷻ bless you. You are respecting us. We are not worthy of this, but alhamduliLlah through us you respect Mashāyikh and respect Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam. For this, thank you for you. May Allāh ﷻ give you more and more love and light, nūr, in shā’a Llāh. And may He ﷻ keep you on this way, way of Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam, way of Ahlu s-Sunnah wal Jamā’ah, way of ṭarīqah. All these are the same way; not different.

AlhamduliLlah we are on the right way. Tarīqul Mustaqīm, tarīqu s-Sahīh in shā’a Llāh. Ṭarīqah means way. Mustaqīm means the straight way. Not going out of the way. AlhamduliLlah we are on the way of Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam. And it is continuing; not only until qiyāmah but forever, alhamdulillah. Forever. Who catches it (holds unto it) from the beginning is more blessed, nearer to Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam in Jannah. In dunyā also, a more beloved one for Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam.

The Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam said, “Who makes salawāt upon me, I reply to him.” For this, every time ṭarīqah people make salawāt, “Durūd” as you say, upon Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam. And in every time, Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam replies. This is our belief, the Islamic belief. But some people do not accept this; they’re not important. What’s important is to be on the way of Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam, way of your fathers, grandfathers, your ancestors.

Since Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam until now, this way continues. Many people have tried to destroy it, but they couldn’t. They are finished. Nobody knows about them anymore. But of course it was not one, not two, not a hundred but thousands everywhere. But all of them were defeated and buried with their fitnah and with what they’d done. They are regretting it under earth; but no benefit. The benefit is to follow this way starting any time; not listening to shayṭān. They say, “I have waswās, whisperings.” That’s normal: shayṭān makes waswās. But these people are whispering even more, they make more waswās than shayṭān.

AlhamduliLlah, the Shaykh who made the Qasīdah was speaking about Masjid Al-Aqsa and Mi’rāj, of course. All these places, unfortunately, many people cannot visit them. Today also, one of our brothers was asking me, “You travel all around, which country do you like most? Which are you happy with the most?” He maybe thought I would say Makkah or Madinah. I said “Palestine.”

AlhamduliLlah, because this is the land of Prophets, land of the holy Masjid Al-Aqsa. SubhanAllah, Allāh ﷻ has given this to my heart, to have love for this land. And I have visited it with Mawlānā Shaykh. Before, it was controlled by Arab people. Every year, Mawlānā Shaykh used to bring Hajjis from Cyprus. He took them to Hajj and was visiting Masjid Al-Aqsa. But after that, when Israel took it under their control, they couldn’t go. But after sixty years, I visited it. It was a really good and fantastic place.

What happened there? I was visiting Nablus. Nablus is a very nice city. There are many ṭarīqah people there and they invited us for dinner and so. We prayed in an old Mosque. In Nablus, there are many ṭarīqah people. But all these Arabs were cheated, from the beginning, by Western people to make revolution against the Khalīfah, against the Ottomans. They offered Sultan Abdul Hamīd billions, “We will pay all your debts just give us a little bit of this land.”

Sultan Abdul Hamīd kicked this man out and said, “I cannot give you one piece of earth from this holy land. It is my Amānah. How I can say to Allāh ﷻ that I gave away this responsibility!” Sultan Abdul Hamīd was also in ṭarīqah. All Sultans were in ṭarīqah, Sāhib ṭarīqah. Sultan Abdul Hamīd was Shadhili; his Shaykh was Shadhili. So he didn’t give them. But of course, they made fitnah, threw him out and cheated the Arabs. They told them, “You will be a king for all Muslims, for Arabs. And this land will be yours.”

Mawlānā Shaykh ‘Abdu Llāh ad-Dāghistānī was in the army, the Ottoman army at that time. He made Khalwah in Masjid as-Sakhra, which is near Masjid Al-Aqsa. He stayed there for 40 days. He was, for around one year, defending Palestine and Masjid Al-Aqsa. After that, when they came back, they had finished the Ottomans. And these western people quickly took all the Ottomans and threw off the Khalifah from there. They can do so. We cannot say anything for them. It is their right. “الحَرْبُ خُدْعَةٌ”, “Al-Harbu Khud’a”, “War is deception.” In war, you can cheat people. But who cheats is terrible. To be with the cheater is terrible. To be with the enemy against Islām, against Khalifah is a very big sin. It cannot be. And of course, this finished.

Then, they took over Palestine. And after that, they are shouting, crying, “We have oppression, we have this, we have that.” Why is this? Still, until now, they are not accepting that what they had done is wrong! Still against the Ottomans, still against the Khalifah. All the Arab world! Don’t think they are happy with the Khalifah or the Ottomans. Until now. Because the western countries put the poison. And this poison is coming in, inside the bones of Arabs. If you scratch them a bit, you see the enmity and hatred for the Ottomans and for the Caliphs. For this, all of this is happening now.

They are crying, “Gaza, Maza!” I don’t know what. This is your fault! These people are enemies, they can do as they want; there’s no problem for them. But when you do not repent to Allāh ﷻ and be with ṭarīqah, it is not good. Anybody can say it is wrong. I was living there. I was born in Damascus. The whole time in school, primary school, secondary school, everywhere, they only teach, “Ottomans are the enemy. They made us go backwards. They are taking our land.”

If the Ottomans wanted something, they could’ve given Palestine to these people and took the money. Then, they would’ve been ruling their country until now. But these people, our people don’t have minds. Their minds are finished. Their minds are burnt. Muslims, all Muslims, their minds are burnt; no thinking, no any good thinking. Only looking at the outside, the cover; not seeing what’s behind it or what’s inside it. Some are running after Iran, some after the Wahhabi. You cannot say you are Muslim.

And this what I said when I was in Nablus. Sultan Abdul Hamīd loved this city. There was a special place for him in this city. I arrived to this dinner. Masha’Allah the people there are good. They like Sultan Abdul Hamīd because he said he loved them. He even made a railway until Nablus. So one old man was sitting there. I was greeting him but he was not so happy. He said, “Tatbi’.” At first I didn’t understand what Tatbi’ is. After that I understood.

Tatbi’ means normalization [with the occupier]. They don’t like this normalization. Don’t make normalization. You are sitting here. We are coming to visit a holy place. Allāh ﷻ opened this for us, and we came here. Why did you say this? Here is not only for you. It is a holy land here, for all Muslims. When you say that to you, of course they will oppress you and make everything you don’t like.

So this is the situation of Islām, Muslimīn. They must learn from the real ‘ulama, from the real Mashāyikh. Of course, there are many of them. And I also see here unfortunately: Arabs who are even Sufi but have this. Because they put this poison in their bodies and everywhere. So if you touch them much they will appear slowly slowly. So they must ask forgiveness from Allāh ﷻ. Allāh ﷻ is Ghafur Rahim. Allāh ﷻ accepts and forgives.

In shā’a Llāh, may Allāh ﷻ forgive us, and may Allāh ﷻ send us Sayyidina Al-Mahdi. AlhamduliLlah there is good tidings from Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam about Mahdi ‘alayhi s-salam. Without this it is difficult. Every time, everywhere problems. In the whole world, there’s no place without any problem. And most of the problems are of course in the Muslim places, Muslim countries. Why? Because shayṭān doesn’t retire; as Mawlānā Shaykh says.

Once one bishop asked Mawlānā Shaykh, “When will these troubles be finished?” Mawlānā Shaykh said, “When shayṭān retires, it will finish.” This man was laughing so much. When Mahdi ‘alayhi s-salam comes, the troubles will be finished. But shayṭān hasn’t finished yet. Many times I read or hear about something, about Kashmir, about Myanmar, about Palestine, about Iraq, Iran, all Africa, Sudan, Libya – every Muslim country has problems – I become very sad. But after that – because if they want to finish it, they need thousands of years – But then I remember that when Sayyidina Al-Mahdi comes there will be peace.

Not any problem: no Kashmir, no visa, no permission for staying, for going for coming. All of this will be finished. Of course, shayṭān still hasn’t retired. Because when Mahdi ‘alayhi s-salam comes, the word of Allāh ﷻ, as He ﷻ promised us, and as Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam said: the whole earth will be in Islām, no more any other religion. All people will follow Islām. What does Islām mean? Islām as a word means peace. There will be peace in the whole world.

So Mahdi ‘alayhi s-salam comes and after him Sayyidina Isa ‘alayhi s-salam. After Mahdi, Isa ‘alayhi s-salam will rule. It will be 40 years of peace. And when Isa ‘alayhi s-salam passes away that time, he will be buried near Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam. Not like these crazy people are saying that he is the son of god. AstaghfiruLlah. This is the most ridiculous thing. They think they are the most clever people in the world. They can even ask this machine now. They have an intelligent machine. “Who is ‘Isa ‘alayhi s-salām?” It would say, “He’s a prophet.” Even the machine knows better than them.

So when ‘Isa ‘alayhi s-salām passes away, he will be buried near Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam, in Madinah. There’s a place for him there; everybody knows that from Ahlu s-Sunnah wal Jamā’ah. After that, the whole world becomes shayṭān again; in full power going through people. So many people will become kāfir, unbeliever again. Only a few will become Muslim. That time, a smoke will come out and when the Muslim breathes in that smoke, he will pass away. Only the kāfirs will stay here. So only for 40 years, we will rest from shayṭān. After that, he will come again. So it is dunyā. It must be like this. Because qiyāmah will coming upon these people. The nonbelievers will all be destroyed that time.

Now sometimes they bring news, there is one stone coming through space and it will be qiyāmah, it will hit earth. AlhamduliLlah Muslims, believers know this is not true. Maybe other people become very afraid, anxious and sad that the end of the world is coming with this stone. This stone, every stone, every small thing is coming by the order of Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla. How will qiyāmah happen without the order of Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla? Non-believers have nonsense belief. They make themselves be afraid. They are not afraid from Allāh ﷻ, but are afraid from nothing.

May Allāh ﷻ help us, in shā’a Llāh, to keep ourself in the way of Ahlu s-Sunnah wal Jamā’ah. Who are Ahlu s-Sunnah wal Jamā’ah? They are those following sharī’ah. AlhamduliLlah shar’iah and the four madhhabs are important. Those who do not accept this are not from Ahlu s-Sunnah wal Jamā’ah. Each madhhab has an easy way, no difficulty. Each country can follow which [of the four] is suitable for them. But not the new fashion of these people now. They are saying there’s no need for madhhabs, they are cursing madhhabs and cursing people who are following madhhabs.

They are saying, “There’s no need for madhhab. Only follow Qur’ān.” When you read Qur’ān – many times I hear people who can’t even read the Qur’ān properly. So how can you understand and follow it? Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam says, “يَسِّرُوا ولا تُعَسِّرُوا”, “Yassirū wa-lā Tu‘assiru”, “Make things easy and do not make them difficult”. [Hadith]. Make it easy, don’t make it difficult. When they are showing you the way through the madhhabs, it is easy for you to follow.

If you don’t know, you will open the Qur’ān from beginning to end to find something. Until you find one, you forget the other one. Again you open, and again you forget. This is not good. This is a big Fitnah. The Ulama know this. There are many people coming up with things against sharī’ah claiming, “We learnt this from the Qur’ān.” To learn Qur’ān ‘Aẓīmu sh-Sha’n, you need at least ten years: to learn it, to read or to understand it. And when you understand it, you must look at the ḥadīths also.

They do not accept ḥadīth. They are finished. All what they read is without any benefit; it will even harm them because they are making fitnah, making people look for another things. So O Ahlu s-Sunnah wal Jamā’ah! Don’t be away from madhhab, don’t be away from ṭarīqah. These are two wings, they say. Sayyidinā Khalid Al-Baghdādi, Shaykh Ali Al-Baghdādi, Dhul Janāhayn, they call him. The one with the two wings. Because one wing is sharī’ah and one is ṭarīqah. Without this, you cannot go. There must be two and this our way.

May Allāh ﷻ bless you. May Allāh ﷻ keep you in this way, in shā’a Llāh. In any ṭarīqah; it’s not important. I also said today. There many ṭarīqahs. You can follow any ṭarīqah; the one which is suitable for you. Just as you can follow any madhhab that is suitable for you. May Allāh ﷻ bless you. May Allāh ﷻ keep us in this way. Amin. Wa min Allah at-Tawfiq.
