Bismi Llāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm

Ramaḍān is a blessed month, a very beautiful month. In it are many beautiful days and nights. Shukr to Allāh ﷻ, many beautiful things happened to our Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam in this month. One of these beautiful things was the birthday of Sayyidinā Hussein, which was on the 15th of Ramaḍān. He was one of our Holy Prophet’s ﷺ most beloved people.
When Sayyidinā Hassan and Sayyidinā Hussein would arrive, our Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam would come down from the pulpit, laugh with them, and carry them on his ﷺ back up the pulpit. So, beautiful people were born in this beautiful month.
And then there are the battles; this is the month in which our Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam went to war and fought. The great Battle of Badr. Our Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam did not leave Madīnah in order to fight a great war.
He ﷺ left solely to seize the possessions of Quraysh, because they had seized the possessions of the Muslims in Makkah. They wished to take them back in return. But it was Allāh’s ﷻ decree, Allāh’s ﷻ will, that this war would be a Ghazwa (battle led by the Prophet ﷺ).
They asked if they should return. Our Holy Prophet ﷺ did not want them to return. The Muhajirīn also did not want to return. But the people of Madīnah, the Ansār told our Holy Prophet ﷺ, “We will come with you.” And so it became a Ghazwah.
By Allāh’s ﷻ permission, by Allāh’s ﷻ protection and help, they eliminated the greatest infidels, the greatest enemies one by one. Now they say, “They have been neutralized” (War terminology). How did they neutralize them? They have become corpses, incapable of causing harm. That’s what happened to them.
Seventy of the greatest kāfirs, the infidels of Quraysh, were erased in that battle. That is, they were purged from the face of the earth. Because their presence would give strength to others. It would strengthen disbelief. It would incite disbelief; it would lead them astray. Therefore, the power of disbelief was broken.
Muslims then gradually began to spread more. Because when our Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam was in Makkah, they migrated to Abyssinia and so. But it never fully spread. This means that it would spread and there will be a conquest after a battle.
The battle is for the sake of Allāh ﷻ, not for anything else. It is to save people. Unlike those who now say they will save people through democracy, that they will enforce democracy. But in doing so, they have made the state of people a thousand times worse.
Wherever our Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam went, his ﷺ soldiers brought enlightenment, light, īmān, beauty, and humanity. They brought all kinds of goodness. But the helpers of shayṭān portray them oppositely. In fact, it is they themselves who are wrong. They are the oppressors. They are the ones who cause unrest. They are the ones who commit all kinds of filth.
Therefore, wherever Islām goes, it arrives with mercy. There is no oppression. Wherever Islām is, wherever true Islām is, there is no oppression. There are Muslim countries, but they are not true Muslims, that’s why it is like that.
Whereas true Islām is the way of our Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam, and all those who came after him ﷺ, up to the last caliphs. They all acted according to the rulings, commands, and principles of Islām, according to what our Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam said. Therefore, wherever a true Muslim goes, there is barakah, peace, and beauty.
May Allāh ﷻ be pleased with them. May Allāh ﷻ grant us those beautiful days. In shā’a Llāh, when Mahdi ‘alayhi s-salām comes, these days will come. Otherwise, there is neither peace nor beauty in the world. Day by day, it’s getting worse. Ugliness and filth are sweeping across the land, both apparently and esoterically.
May Allāh ﷻ save us and send us the Sāhib, in shā’a Llāh. Wa min Allah at-Tawfiq.
Al-Fatiha.
