Sohbah on 21 April 2022 by Almarhum Sheikh Muhammad Abdul Sattar Khan
السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته
بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
In Loving Memory of Sheikh Muhammad Abdul Sattar Khan
Below are some precious points you may wish to ponder upon from this Sohbah:
1) Which two deeds are allowed to give intercession/shafa’ah or to complain against us, on Judgement Day?
2) How many times did Imam Shafie عليهم السلام khatam al-Quran each Ramadhan?
3) What strange phenomenon occurred to the Companions عليهم السلام who read so much Qur’an?
4) I still can’t read Quran, so what can I do to get the blessings of having Khatam the Quran in Ramadhan?
5) When Jibrail عليهم السلام visits with his entourage of special Angels Laylatul Qadr, why do they not enter certain homes?
6) Elaboration on the things that must be clean always, especially on LLQ – mouth, body, clothing, prayer place and heart.
7) Every follower of Iblis will enter Jahannam. What is the only way to be safe from Iblis’ tricks, traps and fitnah? Grandshaykhق reveals the secret, the one deed that will guarantee eternal safety.
8) How is it that when we do good, it is from Allah ﷻ, but when we do evil, we are to blame? An explanation to show us that this is so true.
9) What is the difference between the dates/kurma eaten at Suhoor and at Iftar?
10) Best times not to be missed, for making du’as in Ramadhan?
11) Allahﷻ has hidden His ﷻ Pleasure in good deeds. Which smallest of deeds, saved Imam Shafie عليهم السلام and Imam Ghazali عليهم السلام?
12) Elaboration of what Rasulullah ﷺ did in these last ten days – iktikaf, no spousal intimacy, staying up all night seeking LLQ and making the Du’a of LLQ.
13) Last night was the 21st night in Makkah, Medina, Cyprus, Turkey, Syria and the Middle East. Yet it was the 20th night for Asia. So in seeking the odd nights of LLQ, do we follow the Middle East or Asia?
14) What should people of Faith be very afraid of?
Do listen to the Sohbah below to hear the answers and elaboration to these points:
