Bismi Llāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm

AlhamduliLlah today is the last day of Rajab; the first of Ash’huru l-Harām, (the sacred months). Tomorrow is the first in ours. In some calendars, tomorrow is the first of Sha’bān, some of them maybe later. But alhamduliLlah in these 30 days of Rajab, Allāh ﷻ blessed us. We are happy with Allāh ﷻ, in what He ﷻ gave us, to be in His ﷻ way. If this life, months, years are passing and you are with Allāh ﷻ, you win, you gain these months, this life.
AlhamduliLlah this is a blessed month going, and a blessed month is coming: month of Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam. “رجب شهر الله، وشعبان شهري، ورمضان شهر أمتي”, “Rajab ShahruLlah, Sha’bān Shahri, Ramaḍān Shahru Ummati,” says Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam. Rajab is the month of Allāh ﷻ.
Of course, everything is for Allāh ﷻ, but Allāh ﷻ made this more blessed for the Ummah. And for the honor of Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam: Shahru Sha’bān. Sha’bān is the month of Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam. And Ramaḍān is for the Ummah. This is the most blessed. Allāh ﷻ made this month for the Ummah. Many things happen in it.
But now we are, in shā’a Llāh, in Sha’bān in which Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam gave more intention for worshiping. Some new people say there is no value for such months. No, they do not know. In this month, Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam was fasting the most in Sha’bān that the ṣaḥābah thought it will become Fard. He ﷺ was fasting nearly the whole month.
And in Ramaḍān also, he ﷺ was very happy with Ramaḍān. All this, Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam was showing us. AlhamduliLlah ṭarīqah people respect everything, not asking what is and what is not. AlhamduliLlah in our ṭarīqah, naqshbandī especially, we try in our wird, our daily wazifah, we try to make every Sunnah. Nothing out of the Sunnah of Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam.
May Allāh ﷻ make us to be in his ﷺ way, to make us praise what Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam praised. Even if praising any little thing, it’s okay, but not to be against it. If you go against it, nothing will be less for Allāh ﷻ, but it will be less for you. They give you jewels and you don’t want, “I don’t want this” you say. You are free.
May Allāh ﷻ make us know the value, what’s precious. We must know this. AlhamduliLlah, may Allāh ﷻ let us know the value of this all the time, in shā’a Llāh. Wa min Allah at-Tawfiq.
Al-Fatiha.
