#SgSohbah: The Importance of Sha’aban: The Month of Remembrance of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ

In Loving Memory of Sheikh Muhammad Abdul Sattar Khan

Here is a short synopsis of a Sohbah given by Almarhum Sheikh Abdul Sattar Khan on 24th February 2023:

1) This Suhbah explains the importance of the month of Sha’aban al-Muazzam and how it is often neglected by many people (Hadeeth), but lovers of Maulid and Salawat should intensify their remembrance of the Prophetﷺ during this month.

2) The significance of human beings is only by their association with the Holy Prophet ﷺ, and Allah ﷻ created all of us for his ﷺ sake.

3) People who are proud of their achievements and status fail to understand that something is only of value when it is for the sake of Allah ﷻ and his Prophet ﷺ.

4) One should try to imitate the Holy Prophet ﷺ in every aspect of one’s life to become beloved to Allah ﷻ and rise in purity.

5) The Holy Prophet ﷺ is a divine mirror for us to understand Allah ﷻ Almighty and that we should try our best to resemble him ﷺ in every aspect of our lives.
