Sohbah on 18 April 2022 by Almarhum Sheikh Muhammad Abdul Sattar Khan
السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته
بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

In Loving Memory of Sheikh Muhammad Abdul Sattar Khan
On the blessed night of Nuzul Qur’an back in 2022, Almarhum Sheikh Abdul Sattar gave a meaningful Sohbah on the lessons of this night.
Here were the points covered:
1) the Muslim community not treasuring their own priceless ukhrawi gifts; instead they are jealous of, and striving for the worthless duniawi gifts given to unbelievers, worth less than a mosquito’s wing. Therein lies the sad state of the Ummah today.
2) The need for iktikaf/seclusion for a seed to germinate. No one changes unless having a period of self-reflection.
3) Was Rasulullah ﷺ a student or teacher to Jibrail Alayhi Salam? Answering a question by a mureed.
4) Humility is the first step to acquiring true and beneficial knowledge – admitting to oneself that, “I do not know… “
5) Guidance only begins with a teacher, a guide. Whoever does not have a Murshid, his real teacher is shaitan.
6) Loyalty to one’s guide is paramount for one’s progress in Tariqah.
The Sohbah also explains why it is very dangerous to seek spiritual healing and lessons from outside our Way.
7) What is the sign that our repentance has been accepted?
8) Why did the Saint cry when his parrot died?
Do listen to the Sohbah below to hear the answers and elaboration to these points:
