In Loving Memory of Sheikh Muhammad Abdul Sattar Khan

Here is a short summary of a Sohbah given by Almarhum Sheikh Abdul Sattar Khan on 30 June 2022:

1) In these First Ten Nights/Days of Zulhijjah, believers are exhorted to increase their acts of Ibadah. This year is a rare Hajjul Akbar which Saints say is valued 7 times more than a regular Hajj.

2) Those not performing Hajj physically must not forget the importance of this holy month.

3) Believers in this Way must be in a constant state of Thankfulness to be invited and written to partake in the divine honour of Zikrullah, Iman and Islam.

4) Be in Shukur that the Divine Wrath has not touched us.

5) In these times, just like in the time of Sayyidina Nuhع, the ‘Rain of Anger’ has descended upon people.

6) Safety are only for those who hold on to, read and ponder over the Guidance of the Holy Quran and are choosen to be with Allah ﷻ and Prophet صلي الله عليه وسلم .

7) How does one attain this Safety, like in the Ark of Nuhع?

8) How did ‘the cursed one’ enter into the Ark of Safety and what can one do to prevent evil from entering into one’s physical and spiritual matters?

9) It is not easy to keep dirtiness away as it is rampant everywhere today. What must we do to be kept in the Ark/Train of Safety?

May Allah forgive his shortcomings, bestow upon him endless blessings, mercy, and light, and elevate his rank for the sincerity of his efforts and contribution during his lifetime. 

May he be placed amongst those closest and dearest to Allah Almighty.
