Bismi Llāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm

Our Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam says,
“الصَّدَقَةُ تَرُدّ الْبَلَاءَ وَتَزِيدُ الْعُمر”
“Aṣ-ṣadakah taraddu l-balā’ wa-tazīdu l-‘umur.” Aw kamā qāl.
Saqadah prolongs life and fends off affliction and troubles, says our Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam.
Why are we saying this? Because shukr to Allāh ﷻ, the month of Safar has come to an end. Tomorrow is the last Wednesday of Safar. The month of Safar is heavy.
It is a heavy month, but our Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam says, “تَفاءَلُوا بِالخَيرِ تَجِدُوه”, “Hope for goodness and you will have it.” Therefore our Prophet ﷺ says about this month, “Safaru l-Khayr”, “Safar the good” to be a means for goodness and to fend off affliction.
The heaviest day is the last Wednesday which is tomorrow. Therefore, people should not forget the sadaqah tomorrow. Our brothers, Muslims should give sadaqah so that they are protected, with the permission of Allāh ﷻ.
Every word of our Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam is the truth, the haqq. So, on any day and if anything is to happen, one will be protected with sadaqah; whether it is Safar, or another month, or the last Wednesday of Safar or any day.
That’s why, every morning when you wake up, before leaving the house certainly put sadaqah in a box so that you are protected from affliction, accidents, evil eye, badness, disease and whatever troubles there are. It protects from everything. It also protects from the heaviness of Safar.
As we said, the last Wednesday of the month of Safar is tomorrow, in shā’a Llāh. Allāh ﷻ protects us. People get worried and panic. There’s no need to panic. Do not be afraid after giving sadaqah, with the permission of Allāh ﷻ.
Tomorrow, there is a four rak’āh prayer. Read 11 times Surat Al-Ikhlas in every rak’āh. If one recites them and performs it for the sake of Allāh ﷻ, he attains a great reward and protection.
Of course, it is before Maghrib. But before Maghrib prayer means it has to be before Asr prayer, because after Asr nāfilah prayers mustn’t be performed. You can perform it anytime before Asr prayer.
May Allāh ﷻ protect us. May Allāh ﷻ make us reach many beautiful days. May Allāh ﷻ let us reach Mahdi alayhi s-salām, in shā’a Llāh.
Wa min Allah at-Tawfiq.
