No Resentment Among Muslims

Our Holy Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam is saying it is not good for Muslims to be resentful of each other for longer than three days. It is not permissible for Muslims. Certainly, people sometimes have badness from others. They get upset and don’t want to deal with them anymore. Yet, even though they are in such a state of mind, our Holy Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam says there must not be resentment.

People nowadays find excuses in everything; within the family or out of the family. There is more resentment inside the family, between each other. It turns into animosity later on. And animosity causes worse things. Therefore, our Holy Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam says goodness brings goodness, and badness brings badness. And resentment is a sort of badness.

Certainly, as long as Muslims don’t go out of the way of Allah جل جلاله, you should deal with them. But if they go out of the way and out of the religion, if there are other things, you don’t have to deal with them then. But it is important that Muslims support each other. They should accept their mistakes. And they should forgive if they there’s a mistake.

This is what Muslims must do. Otherwise, as we said, bit by bit, they turn into worse things. Much worse things take place when they pile up on top of each other. Useless things happen. Harmful things happen. Therefore, we should come to an agreement. We should know our mistakes. Not making them again is accepted in the sight of Allah جل جلاله. It is better.Muslims should be in unity.

Muslims already have all kinds of enemies. So it is not permissible for them to do badness to each other, to be enemies of each other. It is wrong. It is harmful to them and to Muslims around them. May Allah جل جلاله protect us. May جل جلاله protect us from the evil of shaytan.

The evil of shaytan is big. May Allah جل جلاله Allah protect us from his evil.

Wa min Allah at-Tawfiq. Al-Fatiha.
