Muslims’ Oneness Is a Big Proof

Bismi Llāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm

Our Holy Prophet ﷺ is saying that Muslims are like one body. If the body of a person has pain in one part, all parts of the body become restless, they feel that pain, says our Holy Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam. Muslims are the same. Even though they are in different places and different countries, they get upset when something sad happens. And they get happy when there is joy.

Shukr to Allah ﷻ, Muslims are a bit better these days. All Muslims are happy as they are saved from oppression in some places. Because there was big hardship and big oppression. As they are saved from that, all Muslims are happy. As we said, Muslims are not like others. Non-Muslims say “We got rid of him. Good for him,” when something happens somewhere. No matter where Muslims are, all of them get happy when there is relief. And they get upset when there is oppression.

This is a big sign and proof given by Muslims to people that shows that Islam is the true religion. The rest are false or broken religions. When something bad happens to humanity, they think it is profitable for them and get happy; whereas it is badness to all humanity, not only Muslims, when there is badness to one person. And Islam is the opposite of it. It wishes compassion and goodness to everyone.

Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla gave this religion to humanity so that people are in comfort here and hereafter. But shaytan doesn’t want it. Shaytan – ‘إِنَّمَا يُرِيدُ الشَّيْطَانُ أَن يُوقِعَ بَيْنَكُمُ الْعَدَاوَةَ وَالْبَغْضَاءَ’, ‘Innamā Yurīdu sh-Shaytānu ‘an Yūqi’a Baynakumu l-Adāwata wa l-Baghda’a’, ‘Shaytan only wants to cause between you enmity and hatred.’ (Qur’ān 05:91). He wants to spread animosity, revenge and badness. Who are on his way do those things. And who are on the way of Allah ﷻ spread goodness.

They cheat people by saying “Why did Islam spread with sword and war?” People fought to get rid of badness, not to do badness. Muslims fought in order to be saved from people who do badness, to spread justice and beauty with the order of Allāh ﷻ and our Holy Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam. The Islam he ﷺ spread became light and goodness to people. It turned into all kinds of beauty to people. We must know this. We must make Shukr to Allah ﷻ for creating us upon this beautiful religion. Thousands and millions of Shukr to Allah ﷻ. Wa min Allah at-Tawfiq.
