Our Grandsheikhق is saying a good manner for all of us concerning the hadith: “The value of every action is with its final outcome.” Most important in Islam is not the beginning but the ending.
We are Muslims now, but what is most important is to finish our lives as Muslims, to stay on the same way, not changing. All Awliya are looking to the end, the final position for everyone.
Shaykh Abu Ahmad as-Sughuriق was a big saint and for forty years the Qutb of the universe. No one else carried this responsibility for such a long time. It is a very heavy duty.
If anyone was speaking in his presence against another person, he would reply, “If he is bad, our character makes us worse. Do not speak.”
Everyone knows himself better than others. If we see one or two badness in others, what about those in ourselves? Shaykh Abu Ahmadق would continue, “Let us pray to our Lord ﷻ that we all finish our lives in a good way.”
If someone was saying praises about another person, he would say, “O my son, let us pray that Allah ﷻ makes our end upon the right way and keeps that person as he is now, upon a good way.” This is good adab that we must practice whenever we face such situations.
We must pray that Allah ﷻ grants us a good ending. If we are on bad ways now, may He change us, and if we are on good ways now, may He keep us.
As a teaching for everyone, the Prophet ﷺ used to pray, “O my Lord ﷻ, do not leave me to my ego.” If we are left to our nafs, destruction is ready for us. This is the best position and the most lovely state for servants before their Lord, to seek His Mercy Oceans with absolute humility.
Do not be angry at people, because it means you look to yourself as better than them, and this is not humility.
May Allah ﷻ grant us husnul khotimah through the barakah of His Awliya, and make our ending pleasing to Him. Ameen.

We pray that our dear Sheikh Abdul Sattar has been reunited with his beloved Mawlana Sheikh Nazimق and all our Grandshaykhs, and that their light continues to guide us always on the way of Haqq.
