Bismi Llāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm

وَمَا أَرْسَلْنَاكَ إِلَّا رَحْمَةً لِّلْعَالَمِينَ
(Qur’ān 21:107)
“Wa-mā arsalnāka illā raḥmatan li-l-‘ālamīn”
“And We have not sent you, [O Muhammad], except as a mercy to the worlds.” Ṣadaqa Llāhu l-‘Aẓīm.
Shukr to Allāh ﷻ, today is the first day of the blessed month of Rabih Al-Awwal. May it be blessed and of goodness upon us all. After the month of Safar, in shā’a Llāh, may it be a time of relief. The month of the Safar was quite difficult this year; it was heavy. May all its weight be lifted with it, in shā’a Llāh.
This month will be a relief for people. It will be a means for goodness, a means for guidance. Because Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla sent our Prophet ﷺ as mercy to the worlds.
So that everyone can benefit from him ﷺ, get close to him ﷺ and follow him ﷺ, Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla sent Qur’ān ‘Aẓīmu sh-Sha’n, many miracles and special gifts for those who follow him ﷺ that are were not given to other nations. The honor of our Prophet ﷺ is exalted in the sight of Allāh ﷻ. His ﷺ value is great. It is obligatory upon us to honor him ﷺ.
What is important in our lives is to gain the pleasure and love of Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla. That is what’s eternal. That is what’s valuable. The other things, whatever there is in dunyā is of no value at all. Not only a place [in dunyā], but the whole dunyā has no value. A person leaves it and goes. What’s valuable is in the ākhirah. Those who love our Prophet ﷺ will be with him ﷺ. Those who don’t love him ﷺ, will have lost everything then.
But the door of our Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam is open. He ﷺ doesn’t turn anyone away. He ﷺ looks upon everyone with mercy. “Come, enter paradise,” he ﷺ says. But people say, “No, we don’t want. We don’t want. We want to go to hell.” Then, they know for themselves. But the one with a mind does not prefer this evanescent world. He prefers the hereafter.
And there is no rule that those who follow our Prophet ﷺ should withdraw themselves entirely from dunyā and do nothing. They should follow what Allāh ﷻ says, and the way of our Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam. They will be happy both here and hereafter.
May Allāh ﷻ make us among His ﷻ beloved ones. Because our Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam says, a person will be with whom he loves. We should love good people so that we will be with them in ākhirah. Loving useless people doesn’t bring you benefit; it brings you nothing but harm. You will have lost your chance.
May Allāh ﷻ protect us. May Allāh ﷻ bless this month of ours.
Wa min Allah at-Tawfiq.
