Bismi Llāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm

“يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا تُوبُوا إِلَى اللَّهِ تَوْبَةً نَّصُوحًا”
(Qur’ān 66:08)
“Yā-ayyuhā lladhīna āmanū tūbū ila Llāh tawbatan naṣūḥan”
“O you who have believed, repent to Allah with sincere repentance.” Ṣadaqa Llāhu l-‘aẓīm.
Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla says to believers to repent to Allāh ﷻ and ask Him ﷻ forgiveness. Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam says, every human being makes wrong things all the time.
For this, Allāh ﷻ addresses the believers also. Don’t think believers don’t do wrong. Every human being is a sinner. We sometimes do something wrong, sometimes sin.
But Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla is merciful and He ﷻ forgives us, yet we must ask forgiveness. When you do something wrong, Allāh ﷻ is happy for you to ask forgiveness.
Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam says that Allāh ﷻ says, “If a nation of human beings don’t sin, I will create other people to sin and I forgive them.” This is Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla’s mercy. For this, we are lucky AlhamduliLlah He ﷻ forgives us.
In everything you do wrong, you must ask for forgiveness and intend not to do it again. But also if you do a wrong and ask for forgiveness, Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam says, Allāh ﷻ forgives you.
They asked Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam, “Even if we do it again?” Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam said, “Even if done again.” They asked him ﷺ, “And again?” He ﷺ said, “Even if again. Even if a hundred times, Allāh ﷻ will forgive you a hundred times.”
If you do sin and ask for forgiveness, but after that do it again and again: in every time, Allāh ﷻ forgives you. This is the ocean of mercy of Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla. Only ask for forgiveness. Don’t be hopeless.
Because there are people who invent some things from their heads and show it to people as if it is religion, Islām. This is the saying of Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam, ḥadīth. Allāh ﷻ says in ḥadīth Qudsī also that He ﷻ is happy with the one who asks forgiveness.
So we are AlhamduliLlah lucky with this mercy, mercy ocean, because we are from the nation of Sayyidinā Muhammad ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam, Ummat Muhammad ﷺ.
Before him ﷺ, to ask forgiveness was more difficult, not easy like this. But for the sake of Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam, Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla opened this mercy door, in shā’a Llāh.
May Allāh ﷻ make us to be in this mercy, in shā’a Llāh.
Wa min Allah at-Tawfiq.
Al-Fatiha.
