Bismi Llāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm

Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla created people and sent them to be tested. Dunyā is a place of tests. He who does good finds good. He finds goodness in dunyā. And he earns his ākhirah in ākhirah anyways. Whoever says, “I know how it goes here. I will act [upon my thinking],” will lose. He will find no peace and no goodness.
Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla has described the way of goodness and beauty. He who follows it will find comfort. He who abandons it will be restless. It will never benefit him. It is said in the Holy Qur’ān, “Allāh ﷻ shows the right way.”
He ﷻ promises you goodness. He ﷻ promises you beauty. He ﷻ promises you peace, says Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla. Allāh ﷻ wants goodness. He ﷻ wants goodness for people. Shayṭān wants badness. He wants harm for people. He makes them restless. He wants them to do evil. And people incline towards him. They incline towards him and then they wonder why this happened.
There’s nothing to be surprised about. You yourself have abandoned goodness and have pursued evil. What more do you want? If mankind follows the way Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla has told about and shown, he will never be uneasy. A person who says, “I am uneasy,” is lying. He has not followed that way correctly. He didn’t go on that way truly.
What is the right way? Accepting everything Allāh ﷻ has given, believing that it comes from Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla and accepting it. When you accept it, everything becomes easy. A person who says, “I’m a Muslim. I pray five times a day. I do this, I do that. My work is like this. My house is like this. My life is like this,” doesn’t have complete īmān already. A person with complete īmān is never bothered by the affairs of dunyā or his life.
May Allāh ﷻ grant us all true īmān. That is the most beautiful, the greatest blessing. If you have it, you’re the best person in dunyā even if you had nothing in dunyā. Otherwise, even if you had everything, it wouldn’t benefit you. You’d still be the most restless person.
May Allāh ﷻ protect us. May Allāh ﷻ grant us all iman, in shā’a Llāh. Wa min Allah at-Tawfiq.
Al-Fatiha.
