Hearts Are in His ﷻ Hand

Bismi Llāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm

Shukr to Allāh ﷻ, on these blessed days, we made beautiful visits to the maqām of Mawlānā Shaykh Nāẓim, Hala Sultān and the rest of the many ‘awliyā’ and ṣaḥābah in Cyprus. Earth belongs to Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla. He ﷻ brings and takes; it happens by His ﷻ command.

Shukr to Allāh ﷻ, it was the land of Islām there. As it is the land of Islām, we’re saying this again, it doesn’t matter who lives on it. Allāh ﷻ brings the good ones, and changes the bad ones, in shā’a Llāh.

This is the state of dunyā. People are immersed in dunyā. They don’t know what they are doing. But Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla is the All-Knowing. He ﷻ is the All-Seeing. Therefore, there is no despair in Islām.

“لَا تَقْنَطُوا مِن رَّحْمَةِ اللَّهِ”

(Qur’ān 39:53)

“Lā Taqnatū Min Raĥmati Allāhi”

“Do not despair of the mercy of Allah.” Ṣadaqa Llāhu l-‘Aẓīm.

There is no despair. Don’t lose hope in the mercy of Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla, says Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla. Hearts are in the Hand of Power of Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla, says our Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam. He ﷻ changes it the moment He ﷻ wants. He ﷻ changes it from bad to good. Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla can also change it from good to bad; may Allāh ﷻ protect us.

A person must be careful for Allāh ﷻ gives according to a person’s intention, according to his heart. We must always draw closer to Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla with worship. If a person does so, Allāh ﷻ willing, Allāh ﷻ will protect him. He ﷻ will not lead him astray.

But even the one who goes astray, Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla can change him. He ﷻ definitely changes whomever changes, and doesn’t change whomever does not change. But there is no despair.

May Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla reform all people. And may Allāh ﷻ protect us from the evil of our egos. Wa min Allah at-Tawfiq.
