Happy Are the Ones on the Way of Allāh ﷻ

Bismi Llāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm

Shukr to Allāh ﷻ we met again in this holy place, the maqām of Mawlānā Shaykh Nāẓim in these beautiful days. The month of Ramaḍān is a beautiful month. These are beautiful days. Of course, the worldly situation is obvious. This world is not the place of comfort, it is a place where Muslims earn profit for the Hereafter. We must value it. Whatever is happening in this world is happening. Nothing happens outside the will of Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla. Everything happens by the will of Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla.

Therefore, don’t tire your mind. Mind your own business. What is your duty? To be a servant to Allāh ﷻ, to worship Allāh ﷻ, to make shukr for the favors given by Allāh ﷻ, to honor them. Your duty is to make thousands of shukr. It’s the same for you both as a Muslim and as a human. You must come to Allāh’s ﷻ way. “This one did this, that one did that. This one hit, that one is destroyed.” All of that, as we said, is by the will of Allāh ﷻ.

Therefore, no need to think about it. As we said, people should mind themselves. They shouldn’t mind anything else. If you are fine, make shukr. If you are on the way of Allāh ﷻ, make shukr. You are a lucky one. Millions and billions of people are unlucky. They don’t know these beautiful days. They don’t understand this beauty. They don’t taste it. They are running on other ways. They are running after their desires thinking that will make them happy.

Happy is the one on the way of Allāh ﷻ. The other is unlucky. He has no luck. No matter how close you are, unless you are on the way, it has no benefit. You must enter the way, Allāh’s ﷻ way. Don’t emulate others and run away from religion. Don’t run away from Islām. Don’t run away from ṭarīqah. If you run away, you will lose many things. You will have a lot to regret, “How did I run away from this? I was on this way. I was a Muslim. I emulated kāfirs. I emulated the one without faith and religion.” You will regret it in ākhirah.

There is nothing to envy them for. Allāh ﷻ created everyone the same. What’s to envy is the religious person; not the one running away from religion. Don’t look at them and say: how well they dress, how they move, how they dance, how they move and so on. Don’t envy them. This doesn’t last all their lives. Even if it lasts for life, eventually they will have nothing. You will regret it in ākhirah and say “Why did I do this! I missed so many opportunities. How did this happen?” They will regret it when they go to hell.

The ones who regret the most are mushriks of the time of our Holy Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam. They didn’t know his ﷺ worth. They harmed him ﷺ. They laughed at him ﷺ. They did all kinds of badness. At last, they regretted it. It’s the same with these people now. They see the mashāyikh. They see the awliyā’. They don’t respect them but respect disgraceful ones. They appreciate them. They have no value at all. They have no self-worth either.

Therefore, Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla has given mind to mankind. They must use that mind and reach peace. What is peace? As we said, peace in this world is being with Allāh ﷻ. And the same in ākhirah. What’s more important is in ākhirah. It will be over in this world anyway. But it won’t in ākhirah.

People nowadays are so scared in this world wondering what will happen. They will die out of fear because they have no īmān. They don’t know that everything happens by the will of Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla. Surely, they have no rest in this world thinking there won’t be money now, this and that. And it will be worse in ākhirah. May Allāh ﷻ protect us.

May Allāh ﷻ not separate us from this way. May the virtues and barakah of these beautiful days be upon us. And may Allāh ﷻ grant guidance to unbelievers. We, Mu’mins, people of ṭarīqah don’t ask for anything but goodness. May Allāh ﷻ grant them guidance. May they come to the way too. May they become beloved servants of Allāh ﷻ, in shā’a Llāh.

Wa min Allah at-Tawfiq.

Al-Fatiha.
