Bismi Llāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm
Our Prophet ṣallá Llāhu alayhi wa sallam says that the most beloved of deeds is to bring joy to the heart of the believer. “إِدْخَالُ السُّرُورِ في قَلْبِ الْمُؤْمِنِ”, “Idkhālu s-surūr fi l-qalbi l-Mumin”, “Bringing joy to the heart of the believer.” To give happiness to the heart of a believer. To make a believer happy is one of the most beloved deeds to Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla.
Shukr to Allāh ﷻ, we also do as much as we can, in shā’a Llāh. This journey [to the UK] was about three weeks of travel. Shukr to Allāh ﷻ it has happened as Allah ﷻ wants, in shā’a Llāh. Because they rejoiced. Their hearts got happy. The burdens of dunyā are only lightened by good people, by good gatherings.
Otherwise, if you sink into dunyā even more, you will have more darkness in your heart and more hardship. In order to get rid of the hardship, you have to do the things that Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla has ordered, things that He ﷻ loves.
Bringing to a believer’s heart “Surūr” – which means happiness, joy – is good for everyone. Allah ﷻ will be pleased with who does so. He ﷻ will also give happiness and goodness to his heart. The state of dunyā is clear; it is obvious.
But the things Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla ordered and gave to people are for their good. If they do not do them, it will be of no benefit. They will live in vain and they will live in hardship. And there will be greater hardships in ākhirah. May Allah ﷻ protect us.
Therefore, Ramaḍān is also now approaching. The Mu’min also becomes happy in this beautiful month. Ramaḍān is a month of happiness. Allāh ﷻ has gifted it to us, to Ummati l-Muhammadiyyah ﷺ. This is the month of Ummati Muhammad ﷺ. It is the month of our Holy Prophet’s ﷺ nation. There will be happiness, in shā’a Llāh.
We should make the believers happy as much we can. It’s not that you have to give money to a believer to make him happy. He is also happy with nice words. Pleasing him also makes him happy. So there are a thousand different things that make people happy. May Allah ﷻ help them.
Don’t hurt each other but give beauty, give goodness to each other. May our hearts be happy. May the hearts of the believers be happy, in shā’a Llāh. May they be as Allah ﷻ wants, in shā’a Llāh. Wa min Allah at-Tawfiq.
Al-Fatiha.
