Bismi Llāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm

وَأَنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يَهْدِي كَيْدَ الْخَائِنِينَ
(Qur’ān 12:52)
“Wa ‘AnnaAllāha Lā Yahdī Kayda Al-Khā’inīna“
“And that Allāh does not guide the plan of betrayers.” Ṣadaqa Llāhu l-‘Aẓīm.
Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla is not with the traitors. We live in a strange world. People do all sorts of things to slander and harm each other. They slander and spread lies. The person who is slandered is afraid. But who is the actual coward? The traitor. They are people who are afraid that something they are hiding inside them will be revealed.
Now in this time, they are striving to do all sorts of things just to benefit themselves. They intimidate and demand money. They try to make people do other things by intimidation, all sorts of things. If a person is pure, there is no need to fear. Allāh ﷻ is with him. If there is something bad in his actions, then he will fear and be saddened.
But if he thinks, “I didn’t do anything, but these people are targeting me, they are going to do this to me, they are scaring me, they are demanding this or that from me” and you are pure, if you know yourself well, if you have no fault or shortcoming, then absolutely do not fear.
Let them spread as much slander as they want. Let them do whatever they want. If you are pure in the sight of Allāh ﷻ, if you know you are clean, then seek refuge in Allāh ﷻ, and Allāh ﷻ will protect you.
But if there is treachery, if you have wronged yourself, then correct that wrong. Come to the truth, to the right way. If you have infringed upon others’ rights, give them their due. Otherwise, you cannot be saved. Even if you are saved in dunyā, you will not be saved in ākhirah, because those rights will certainly be taken.
Therefore, while you are in this world, let people forgive your rights, and you will be saved. Otherwise, you will live your whole life in fear and anxiety.
Many people now accuse you of things without you knowing, saying, “You are like this, you are like that.” And you are afraid. As we said, if you have nothing wrong, if you have no mistakes or sins, do not be afraid, rely upon Allāh ﷻ. Even if the whole world is against you, do not be afraid.
But if you have made a mistake, as we said, correct it. If you’ve violated others’ rights, correct them as well. If there is anything between you and Allāh ﷻ, repent and seek forgiveness for it. Allāh ﷻ will protect you.
The time we live in is truly a difficult time. Neither humanity, nor conscience, nor shame, nor decency is left; nothing is left anymore. As for shamelessness, there’s more than you could ever think of. Therefore, guard yourself. Allāh ﷻ will protect you. Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla will protect you.
Otherwise, your whole life will be difficult; you will fear this, you will fear that, you will be bewildered, wondering, “What will I do?” He who is with Allāh ﷻ does not fear, by the permission of Allāh ﷻ. May Allāh ﷻ protect us all.
May Allāh ﷻ protect us from evil, from the evils of our egos. Wa min Allah at-Tawfiq.
Al-Fatiha.
