Bismi Llāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm

Our Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam says, the servants that Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla loves the most, are the youngsters who worship. He ﷻ loves them. He ﷻ loves them more than the elders. Because what the elders had done have passed. It is not clear what they did in their youth. But the worship of the youth is something that Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla loves. It is difficult to restrict and control their ego, but the one who does so has attained a very degree. He is one of the beloved servants of Allāh ﷻ.
The servants Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla does not like are those who are old and do badness. Mostly those who commit adultery; old men who do so. Unfortunately, they have increased everywhere now. Because disgraceful acts are done everywhere. One can easily do whatever he wants. Therefore, they are the people Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla dislikes the most.
He is both old, and doing this disgrace. That’s why, he will be subjected to the wrath and anger of Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla. He will be unsuccessful. He will gain nothing but evil. His end is poverty in dunyā and torment in ākhirah. Therefore, the elders must be careful. Sins that are easily committed are not profit. They are not benefit or gain. They are a torment to him. They are badness. May Allāh ﷻ protect us.
A person must train his ego. If he trains it when he is young, he will continue on the same way when he grows old. But if he sees everything as permissible for his ego in his youth, he will continue like that until the end. It would be a great loss. They will have lost their lives. As they say, “They lost their lives.” They are the ones who have lost their lives.
Those who die on the way of Allāh ﷻ attain a new beautiful life. The others will have lost their lives. They will have lost in both dunyā and ākhirah. May Allāh ﷻ protect us from the evil of our egos. Don’t say, “I’m old I’ll start now. Nothing will happen.” May Allāh ﷻ protect you. Do not give your ego any chance, in shā’a Llāh. Wa min Allah at-Tawfiq.
Al-Fatiha.
