Bismi Llāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm

When Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla created humankind, He ﷻ created him above other creatures, that is, at a higher level. And He ﷻ placed all kinds of goodness within him. Also, there’s the ego. He ﷻ put the ego inside him. As we constantly say, the ego desires evil.
Allāh ﷻ also placed within us that which does not desire evil: the conscience. Everyone has a conscience; Muslims and non-believers. Everyone has conscience, which Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla placed in humankind. He placed it so that they can reason and not act unjustly. He also put compassion.
But to do these things, one must overcome his ego. Because when one has a conscience, he does not oppress anyone, he does not harm anyone, he does not usurp anyone’s wealth or deceive anyone. After that, his īmān gradually increases. Ultimately, he attains guidance, most of the time.
But without a conscience, one does not do good deeds, even if one is a Muslim. Even if he is a Muslim, a conscienceless person knows neither rights nor laws, nor what is ḥalāl or ḥarām. They say, “I am a Muslim,” perform the five daily prayers, and sometimes even go to ḥajj. But when there’s no conscience, they follow their egos and go after their egos.
Therefore, this is the wisdom of Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla. His ﷻ wisdom is incomprehensible. Mankind’s mind cannot fathom it.
Allāh ﷻ says, “I created man in the most perfect form.” ‘وَلَقَدْ كَرَّمْنَا بَنِي آدَمَ’, ‘Wa Laqad Karramnā Banī ‘Ādam, ‘And We have certainly honored the children of Adam.’ (Qur’ān 17:70). “I created humankind at the highest level, with the most beautiful qualities. We honored them on land, at sea, and everywhere,” says Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla.
How does humanity come about? Humanity comes with conscience. Without conscience, humanity is lost. A person does everything for their egos’ sake.
Therefore, you often see a non-Muslim, yet they have a conscience. They do things that Muslims don’t. “Where does this come from?” They ask. It comes from their conscience. The conscience that Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla has placed within mankind.
You see a Muslim committing all kinds of oppression, all kinds of fraud, and evil. Why? Because they have no conscience left; they have killed their conscience.
Of course, if you kill your conscience, you can hardly revive it. But if you preserve it, it will benefit you. What you do will be great. And the best thing is to be accepted in the presence of Allāh ﷻ and our Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam.
That conscientious, compassionate person is the one loved by Allāh Azza wa Jalla, our Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam, ‘awliyā’ and believers.
That is what matters. Otherwise, this property and wealth you seized from people through fraud, robbery, and deception are of no use. Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla doesn’t need them. You do.
People must restore that conscience, so that they can find peace. People say, “A clear conscience is a clear heart.” If your conscience is clear, your heart will be at ease.
May Allāh ﷻ not make us among the unscrupulous, in shā’a Llāh. May Allāh ﷻ also guide people so that they don’t kill this beautiful thing, in shā’a Llāh. Wa min Allahi tawfeeq al-Fatiha.
There are recited Quran Khatms, tasbihat, Surahs, ayāt, and Dala’il al-Khayrat Khatms. Whatever good deeds and charity there is, we gift them firstly to our Prophet ﷺ, his ﷺ Ahlu l-Bayt and Ṣaḥābah, all Anbiya, Awliya, Asfiya. To the souls of our Mashayikh. May they reach them, in shā’a Llāh.
May whatever good goals those who’ve recited have be reached. For happiness here and hereafter. For shifa. May it be a means for goodness. in shā’a Llāh, may it benefit people and be a means for guidance. May Allāh ﷻ protect us from the evil of people and the evil of shayṭān. May Allāh ﷻ elevate us to the highest ranks. May He ﷻ send his owner in shā’a Llāh. Bi-Hurmeti l-Fatiha.
