Bismi Llāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm

(Qur’ān 99:07-08)
‘Faman Ya’mal Mithqāla Dharratin Khayrāan Yarah (7) Wa Man Ya’mal Mithqāla Dharratin Sharrāan Yarah (8)’
‘So whoever does an atom’s weight of good will see it (7) And whoever does an atom’s weight of evil will see it (8).’ Ṣadaqa Llāhu l-‘aẓīm.
A person will surely see the result of everything he does. Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla says this. If one does good, there will be a reward, thawāb and goodness in return. There will be happiness in the Hereafter. Even the smallest good deed, even as small as an atom, will be rewarded for it. He will see its benefit. This is the Power and Majesty of Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla. Nothing is lost. No good deed is lost in the sight of Allāh ﷻ.
The same applies if one does evil. If one commits evil, badness, or sin, there will be consequences and punishment. However, if a person seeks forgiveness from Allāh ﷻ for that evil deed or sin he had done, Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla will forgive it if it is not a violation of the rights of another person.
If it violates another’s right then forgiveness is only possible if that violated person grants their forgiveness. Otherwise, it remains until the Day of Judgment. Things that happen in this world are resolved in this world. But if a person closes their eyes and dies, then it is not possible anymore. But if they forgive them after their passing, they’ll be forgiven. But most of the time it doesn’t happen. That forgiveness doesn’t happen.
Therefore, one must be careful. People must not infringe upon the rights of others. The harm done to people can only be forgiven by them. If you have committed mistakes or sins with Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla, you can atone for them by performing what you haven’t done such as prayer, fasting and so. Otherwise, as we said, if one harms a person, he will certainly be punished unless the wronged party forgives it.
Therefore, a person must be careful. He must not infringe upon the rights of others. The same applies to animals. Doing harm to an animal, such as causing it suffering is also a violation of its rights. May Allāh ﷻ protect us.
One must not infringe upon anyone’s rights. Rights are what Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla has given to people; it is unbecoming and wrong to do harm to them and take away those rights. As we said, there is certainly a punishment for that. Therefore, a person must give what is due to him, to the one who has a right upon him. He must seek forgiveness for that wrong.
May Allāh ﷻ protect us from doing evil and infringing on the rights of others. May Allāh ﷻ help us, in shā’a Llāh. Wa min Allah at-Tawfiq.
Al-Fatiha.
