Choose The Right Way

During this life, people will either reach goodness or badness. If a person wants goodness, the Lord of the Heavens will open the path to it. If a person wants the wrong way, the bad way, the satanic way, that path will also open. It is like a railway station; different tracks open depending on what you seek.

Allah Almighty looks to see which way the servant is asking for — the good or the bad, the right or the wrong. It is up to you. You may choose, but then you cannot blame anyone. Whatever comes upon a person, they have no one to blame but themselves.

Everyone with common sense can know which is right and which is wrong. The main problem of mankind today is that they are choosing the wrong way. And because of their choice, they will inevitably face many disliked things.

On the wrong way, everything can hurt, disturb, and cause great suffering and hardship. The wrong way is full of bad and harmful things. If you choose it, you must see for yourself what comes to you. Then you can only blame yourself. But if you take even one step back from the wrong way, you will immediately find yourself in a better atmosphere.

When a person follows the wrong path, the atmosphere around him becomes dirty and harmful. The atmosphere of the right way brings peace and pleasure. Joy will enter your heart. Blessings will reach you from Allah Almighty. He ﷻ will make you happy. He ﷻ will make your future like an open rose. He ﷻ will show you a bright future. That is the atmosphere of the right way.

One thousand four hundred years ago, Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said that days like these would come. Because the Last Day is drawing nearer, it is approaching, approaching… And people are changing their ways from good to bad, from right to wrong. This has covered the whole world with darkness.

Those who breathe through their hearts can feel the heaviness. You may breathe, but you do not find relief, because something in the air makes you feel suffocated. You feel that you cannot breathe fully. That is the time we are living in.

This time is described as a smoke, and it will literally be a smoke covering the world. But it also has another meaning. People will become like those who are sick. It weighs heavily in the air. You cannot breathe. Today, most people are on the wrong way. They have abandoned the teachings of the Heavens and are following the teachings of the devil. As a punishment, they are creating this heavy atmosphere through their own actions.

But in every nation, there will be a few people who will be like stars in the sky. Darkness cannot change their brightness. It cannot take away their light. The darker it gets, the more light they will carry. They will live among others, but they will not change their direction from good to bad. These people stay on the right path, and the Lord Almighty gives them light.

Their atmosphere is different from that of most people. It is up to you to choose which atmosphere you want. The Lord Almighty opens whichever one you ask for. That is why the Prophet ﷺ said that there will be some servants of Allah Almighty who will be beyond this heavy atmosphere.

A rocket reaches beyond the atmosphere with great difficulty. Once it breaks through, it enters another atmosphere that is light and free. But to reach that light atmosphere, it needs great power. Mighty engines push it forward. When it finally succeeds, it moves so smoothly. The bad, dangerous, and tiring atmosphere is left behind; it becomes a different kind of air. O people, as long as you follow the wrong direction, your atmosphere will never change!

There is no benefit for me in telling you this. You are not giving me money or anything from this world. But in the Hereafter, I will receive my reward. I will be rewarded for everyone who listens to the truth. And the only reward that has any real value is the one from the Lord Almighty.

The Prophet ﷺ said that if you guide a person from the wrong way to the right one, from the bad way to the good one, the reward from Allah Almighty will be far greater than all the treasures of this world.

But I am fighting against Shaytan. You must help me. When I come to get you, Shaytan becomes very angry and says, “They are my servants. How can you take them?” And at the same time, you are running after Shaytan, saying, “Oh Sheikh, do not catch me!” But I am catching you. May Allah ﷻ keep us on the right way. That is our goal. If you have a mind, it is very clear — unless your mind has already been stolen by Shaytan.

If that happens, you become Shaytan’s donkey. He will ride you and steer you wherever he wishes. Do not be a donkey! Who told you to be a donkey? Shaytan? Do not listen to him. Be free. Be the servant of Allah, the Lord Almighty. He will dress you with the honour of being His ﷻ servant. He ﷻ will place the crown of servanthood upon your head. Why are you refusing? Why are you hesitating? Do you want to be Shaytan’s donkey?

This Suḥbah is enough for everyone living from East to West, because the Seal of the Prophets ﷺ was sent to all nations. This is part of his ﷺ oceans of wisdom. Whatever he ﷺ said, your common sense will confirm. Everyone with a sound mind must accept it. Jews must accept it. Christians must accept it. Muslims must accept it. Buddhists must accept it. Sikhs must accept it. Hindus must accept it. Everyone must accept it.

Everyone knows the devil, Shaytan. Everyone knows what is wrong and which is the wrong direction. If they do not change their way, they will stay under Shaytan’s control. He will make them his donkeys and enjoy it, because he finds pleasure when people fall into suffering. Every trouble that reaches mankind makes Shaytan happy.

Do not think Allah ﷻ or His Beloved Prophet ﷺ are happy with your pain. No! Just like no father or mother is happy when their children face difficulties or suffer, how could Allah Almighty be happy seeing His ﷻ servants in misery? No. Suffering only brings joy to Shaytan, and he laughs with delight.

His laughter reaches the ears of holy people. With each laugh, the holy ones know that a new suffering has come to a person, or to a group of people. Just like when you hear a crash on the street and you know instantly that an accident has happened. When Shaytan laughs, the holy ones know that a new disaster has struck mankind.

It means someone listened to Shaytan and went the wrong way. Just like if you are on a highway and suddenly you make a U-turn. How many cars do you think will crash into you? If you go the wrong way, a big accident will happen very quickly. When Shaytan laughs, the holy ones understand that a major crash has happened, and many people are caught up in it.

O people, do not go in the wrong direction. That was the last advice of all the prophets. Their final words to their nations were, “Stay firm upon the right way. If you leave it, great harm may reach you at any moment and destroy you.”
