Bismi Llāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm

Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla says in Qur’ān ‘Aẓīmu sh-Sha’n, When those who did not believe in Allāh ﷻ enter Hell, they will address Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla, saying, “These people led us astray.” They will say, “Give them twice the torment we suffered.”
Those who entered last will say to those who came before them, “At least let their torment and suffering be greater; give them twice the terrible state of Hell,” because they led them astray and caused them to enter Hell.
Those who entered first will reply, “If only you had not followed us! You should suffer too! Allāh ﷻ gave you mind and understanding; why did you follow us? You received so many warnings. Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla sent prophets, scholars, and mashāyikh; they all showed you the right way, but you still followed us. Now you are blaming us; the fault lies with you.”
Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla addresses both of them, saying, “Suffer what you deserve there.” “While you were in the world, you treated those who showed you the right way badly, you disregarded them and did not follow their way. Now, both of you, from beginning to end, remain in this evil state,” He ﷻ says.
Therefore, people must pay attention to all kinds of warnings and admonitions in this world as well. They must be careful in both worldly and hereafter matters.
Now, another trend has emerged; there used to be promissory notes. When you gave a check, you were essentially making a promise. Now, shukr to Allāh ﷻ, there are no more checks. Banks no longer issue checks; instead, they enslave people by giving them cards. That’s another matter.
Even worse, a bank gives you a number, and you let your acquaintances use it because they are acquaintances or friends, and this ruins your life. Many people come to us for this matter; “That man used my account and had me imprisoned,” they say. We must be very careful about this.
One must be cautious against everything offered by banks. Banks, in fact, destroy people. Therefore, be careful and don’t ruin your children and family. These systems are another trick of shayṭān. They weren’t established for convenience; they were created to control and torment everyone.
Therefore, don’t take steps that you will regret later. In this world, the most you might regret is going to prison, having your home and property taken from you; if your īmān is strong, you still make shukr to Allāh ﷻ.
But the deception of the hereafter is dangerous. Don’t follow them. Don’t follow any kind of shayṭān and don’t follow the ways they show you. They set traps for you, calling it convenience. You fall for these and surrender your neck to someone else. Thus, you are ruined both in this world and in the hereafter.
In this world, as we said, there is compensation; even if you lose everything, if your īmān is strong, you still make shukr to Allāh ﷻ. But there is no compensation in the hereafter. Shayṭān shows you everything as “beautiful, good,” and you follow it. Then you realize you’ve reached a place of no return. May Allāh ﷻ protect us.
May Allāh ﷻ grant mind and understanding to all people. Our Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam said: “One hour of contemplation is better than seventy years of worship.” If you truly contemplate and know Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla for one hour, that is the greatest gain for you.
Haste in undertaking tasks is from shayṭān. When faced with a problem, don’t jump in immediately; investigate thoroughly. You should think, “I have surrendered my will to this man, I am following him. Where will he take me? Will he take me to the slaughterhouse, or to the green pasture? What will he do to me?” These things must be carefully considered.
May Allāh ﷻ protect us, we are living in a very dangerous time. We must seek refuge in Allāh ﷻ, be with those who are with Allāh ﷻ, and consult in our affairs. May Allāh ﷻ help us all.
Wa min Allah at-Tawfiq.
