Be Continuous on the Middle

Bismi Llāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm:

“وَاللَّهُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ”

(Qur’an 03:189)

“Wa-Llāhu ‘alá kulli shay’in qadīr”

“And Allah is over all things competent.” Ṣadaqa Llāhu l-‘Aẓīm.

The mind cannot imagine the power of Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla. Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla is capable of all things. The believers know that. The believers know. Those who are not believers and those who have no īmān think about things according to their own minds. Some say, “If I was [god], I would make the whole world Muslim.” Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla would do it if He ﷻ wanted. You look at your own condition.

Sometimes one says, “I will do so much of ‘ibādah.” He does it for a month or two max. He does too much of prayers and sunnahs. Then, he sees that it is difficult, and he leaves it all at once.

Therefore, the middle of everything is best. Our Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam says, “خَيْرُ الْأُمُورِ الْوَسَط”, “Khayru l-‘Umoori l-Wasat”, “The middle of everything is best.”

Be in the middle state. Do not tire yourselves. And do not be lazy. Go on the same way continuously, your life will be smooth, and your ākhirah will be good. You will attain salvation and paradise. Otherwise, don’t do things that you can’t do. As we said, Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla has power over everything. If He ﷻ wills, He ﷻ would not leave anyone without īmān. He would’ve made everyone Muslim.

It is a world of tests. Everyone will get what they deserve. Allāh ﷻ does not oppress anyone. “Why? How? so and so on”, do not interfere with the work of Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla. We must be careful about this. A person unknowingly enters Kufr. May Allāh ﷻ protect us.

Therefore, be happy with your situation. Make Shukr to Allāh ﷻ. May Allāh ﷻ make us steadfast. May He ﷻ not make us do what we cannot do, in shā’a Llāh. May Allāh ﷻ save our īmān for the sake of Ramaḍān. May it be blessed for all of us, in shā’a Llāh . Wa min Allah at-Tawfiq.

Al-Fatiha.
