Be a Real Believer

Bismi Llāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm

“لَبَّيْكَ اللَّهُمَّ لَبَّيْكَ، لَبَّيْكَ لاَ شَرِيكَ لَكَ لَبَّيْكَ، إِنَّ الْحَمْدَ، وَالنِّعْمَةَ، لَكَ وَالْمُلْكَ، لاَ شَرِيكَ لَكَ”

“Labbayka Llāhumma labbayk. Labbayka lā sharīka laka labbayk. Inna l-ḥamda, wa n-niʻmata, laka wa l-mulk, lā sharīka lak.”

This is Yawmu ‘Arafah. It is a holy day. Today millions of ḥajjis make this takbīr and say labbayk on the mount ‘Arafāt. They are overwhelmed with the manifestation of Allāh ﷻ in that beautiful place, staying until the evening in worship and obedience.

Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla made a [specific] day. Whoever is destined to be there on that day will be present there. Whoever is not, just like this year no one can be there. Whatever Allāh ﷻ wishes happens. 

It is the first house of Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla for people. Kaʿbah is the first house of Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla. The house of Kaʿbah was in heavens. Then it was descended to Makkah for people. Al-Ḥajaru al-Aswad was shining like a jewel in paradise as well. It was shining like the sun. However, when unbelievers touched it, that light disappeared. But it has something.

Whoever goes there, his record is inside it. Without the present recorders, Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla records wherever He likes. With the wisdom of Allāh ﷻ, that holy stone records everyone who makes tawāf, whether he comes close to it or can’t, everyone who gives salām. On the Day of Judgment, Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla will show them to people.

It is a holy day, Yawmu ‘Arafah. It is a very holy day both for those who are on ḥajj and those who are not. May Allāh ﷻ give us from its barakah. May we be with ’īmān, with true ’īmān insha’Allah.

There are many shayṭāns who try to steal ’īmān.

’Īmān is the most valuable thing people have.

Thieves are always trying to steal what is precious. And it is the most precious thing. But Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla certainly helps those who obey Him and don’t go against Him ﷻ.

We ask that our ’īmān strengthens from day to day in this world as well, until our last breath insha’Allah. ’Īmān is the greatest favor.

One can be Muslim, but there are many Muslims who don’t have ’īmān. Whoever calls himself Muslim and doesn’t believe in the miracles and rank of our Holy Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam doesn’t have ’īmān.

To be a Muslim is one thing and ’īmān is another thing. ’Īmān is to believe and to accept everything our Holy Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam brought to us. Those who don’t accept it are not believers. They can be Muslims but they are not considered as ones who have ’īmān.

Therefore, ’īmān is the biggest gift.

Insha’Allah with today’s barakah our ’īmān will become much stronger.

May we have more ’īmān insha’Allah. May it be good and blessed. May Allāh ﷻ give better years for Muslims because there are many shayṭāns who want to cheat Muslims. But the truth will be victorious in the end.

May Allāh ﷻ bless our ’Īd. May Allāh ﷻ make our day blessed insha’Allah.
