Ask Allāh ﷻ in Ramaḍān

Bismi Llāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm

Shukr to Allāh ﷻ that He ﷻ created us as Muslims. All good things come from this blessing, the blessing given by Allāh ﷻ. Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla’s generosity is infinite, without end. He ﷻ also bestowed upon us acts of worship as a further gift. These acts of worship have their designated times.

In this month of Ramaḍān, the worship is fasting, of course. Fasting and Tarawīh prayers. Khatms of the Qur’ān. Zakāt can be given at any time, but what is given in this month has even greater reward. Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla says it is more than 700 times.

“It is My month. No one can question what I do,” says Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla. This is Allāh’s ﷻ wisdom. In this blessed month of Ramaḍān, all kinds of good deeds, charity, and worship performed, Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla says, “The reckoning is with Me. It is more than seven hundred times.”

His ﷻ generosity is great. We are also in need. We are in need of His ﷻ generosity. The more He ﷻ gives us, the more we will ask for, in shā’a Llāh. May He ﷻ give, not diminish, but increase, in shā’a Llāh. May our good deeds, charity, and īmān increase.

When you give, Allāh ﷻ gives. Therefore, there’s no need to hesitate. Some people are hesitant. Don’t hesitate. Ask from Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla, “Give me, O Allāh ﷻ.” As we said, let’s try to do all kinds of help and good deeds this month.

As we said, this is a blessed month. May Allāh ﷻ be pleased with all of you. Of course, fasting during the day, night worship, Tarawīh prayers, even iftār (breaking the fast), has its reward in the sight of Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla, and there is also the reward of sahūr. Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla gives us all kinds of opportunities, saying, “Win. Take. I give, you take. You are in need. Ask from Me, and take.”

May Allāh ﷻ keep it perpetual upon us and strengthen our īmān. May this blessed month be of goodness and barakah, in shā’a Llāh. May it be of benefit for people. May it be guidance for those who have gone astray bringing them back to the right way. May they also experience and taste this goodness, in shā’a Llāh.

Wa min Allah at-Tawfiq.

Al-Fatiha.
