Ṭarīqah People Love Him ﷺ the Most

Bismi Llāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm

Shukr to Allāh ﷻ, we are all from Ummati Muhammad ﷺ. This is a great honor, a great blessing. We must know the value of this blessing. We must thank Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla for this, for being in this religion, in this ummah.

The one who does not love our Prophet ﷺ is shayṭān. Shayṭān wants to lead people astray, to make them like him. Therefore, he deceives people with their egos and desires, making them enemies of our Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam, or at least preventing them from honoring him ﷺ.

Those who are enemies to him ﷺ are the disbelievers anyways. Those who do not honor him ﷺ are the deceived Muslims. And who are they? They are mostly people who do not have a Murshid (spiritual guide) or Shaykh.

Shukr to Allāh ﷻ, we follow the most beautiful way, the way of Islām. It is the ṭarīqahs. The best of those ṭarīqahs, the one that has no dust upon it (irreproachable), is the Naqshbandi ṭarīqah. Shukr to Allāh ﷻ, it is that. All ṭarīqahs share the same love and respect. However, sometimes people see things differently.

Without a ṭarīqah, one cannot know the true worth and value of our Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam. He cannot know his ﷺ greatness. The people of ṭarīqah are the ones who honor him ﷺ and love him ﷺ the most.

No matter how much the others love him ﷺ, shayṭān instills doubt and fear in their hearts, saying, “He is just a human being like you,” or “He is this and that,” thus diminishing their love. There shouldn’t be not one doubt about the greatness, honor, worth, and value of our Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam.

Therefore, following his ﷺ Sunnah is a form of reverence and glorifying to him ﷺ. Shukr to Allāh ﷻ, our ṭarīqah performs most of his ﷺ Sunnah. All of them can be done. Those who can, do as much as they can. And in the sight of Allāh ﷻ, every act of Sunnah is like the reward of a hundred martyrs. We don’t abandon the Sunnahs; we try to perform whatever Sunnahs there are.

Therefore, those in ṭarīqah ask, “What should I do?” Well, you pray your five daily prayers, you recite their tasbihāt (Adab Salāt); all of these are Sunnahs. So, the worship done becomes easier; they become even easier. Otherwise, those outside ṭarīqah do it once, twice, and then say, “I won’t do this anymore.” Those in ṭarīqah, shukr to Allāh ﷻ, follow that way until they meet Allāh ﷻ.

This is a beautiful way. We must be thankful to Allāh ﷻ. It is the way of our Prophet ﷺ. Ṭarīqah itself means way. That way is the way of our Prophet ﷺ ‘alayhi s-salām. Until we meet him ﷺ, until we are with him ﷺ, we will continue on that way forever, in shā’a Llāh. May Allāh ﷻ keep us all steadfast. And may Allāh ﷻ grant those who are not yet on this way to come, in shā’a Llāh.

Wa min Allah at-Tawfiq.

Al-Fatiha.
