Bismi Llāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm

“And cooperate in righteousness and piety, but do not cooperate in sin and aggression.” Sadaqa Llāhu l-‘Aẓīm.
Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla says, “Help one another in goodness.” Wherever there is goodness, help one another, says Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla. Goodness begets goodness.
‘وَلَا تَعَاوَنُوا عَلَى الْإِثْمِ وَالْعُدْوَانِ’, ‘Wa la ta‘āwanū ‘ala l-lithmī wa l-‘udwān’, ‘But do not cooperate in sin and aggression.’ (Qur’ān 05:02). And do not help one another in causing evil or enmity, says Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla.
Who does this? The people of ṭarīqah. They help each other not for dunyā, but for ākhirah, for the sake of Allāh ﷻ. As much material or spiritual assistance as they can. It’s the way of our Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam, the way he ﷺ showed everyone. Do as much as you can.
“I can’t do anything,” if you smile at someone, that’s also a good deed, a beautiful deed. Instead of giving him a harsh and bad look, even looking at him with kindness is still a good deed. These are the commands of the ṭarīqah.
The command of the ṭarīqah is the way of the Prophet ﷺ. Ṭarīqah means the way. It means going on the way shown by our Prophet ﷺ; nothing else.
People have done such a thing today that when you say ṭarīqah, they think it’s bad. They say, “Ṭarīqah is this and that.” O people, ṭarīqah means goodness, it means beauty. To benefit people, to help them. It starts from reminding them of Allāh ﷻ. So, there’s nothing evil in this. All its commands are the essence of humanity.
Islām is the essence of humanity. And ṭarīqah is the essence of humanity. What is a human being? What is the difference between a human and an animal? They say humans are good, humane. They don’t say they are animalistic. Humanity means doing good, not evil.
This is what a ṭarīqah is. It puts people on the right way to make them “Insan Kāmil.” Insan Kāmil means a good, righteous person. A person loved by Allāh ﷻ. A person loved by others. One who does not harm, deceive, or do evil. This is ṭarīqah. Shukr to Allāh ﷻ.
May Allāh ﷻ help us, in shā’a Llāh. The more people follow this way, the more it benefits everyone: not harm. Those who stray from the way harm humanity, society, and the nation. Those who remain upon the way bring benefit. Way means ṭarīq which means ṭarīqah.
With Allāh’s ﷻ permission, we have set out for this very purpose, for the pleasure of Allāh ﷻ. We have come here as we do once each year, shukr to Allāh ﷻ. May Allāh ﷻ make this journey continuous for us, and may we come here until the end of our lives. In shā’a Llāh, it will be beneficial.
May Allāh ﷻ be pleased with you. You have all come early at this hour, and you have done so for the sake of Allāh ﷻ alone. Not for food, not for drink, not for money. It is purely and sincerely for His ﷻ sake. May Allāh ﷻ be pleased with you all.
May He ﷻ reward you. With your barakah, may it be a means of guidance for those around you, your family, your neighbors, and your relatives. Turks, Kurds, Arabs, English and others, whatever Muslims there are, all are servants of Allāh ﷻ.
Therefore, may these gatherings be beneficial to them, in shā’a Llāh. Everyone wants and loves their families, their children, and their relatives to be good people. May Allāh ﷻ make this happen, in shā’a Llāh.
May it be a means for both their guidance and ours, in shā’a Llāh. May Allāh ﷻ guide us as well. May He ﷻ not separate us from the right way. May He ﷻ not make us obey shayṭān and our egos, in shā’a Llāh. Wa min Allāh at-Tawfiq.
