Two Words Take You Straight to Paradise

Bismi Llāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm

Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam is saying,

“كَلِمَتَانِ خَفِيفَتَانِ عَلَى اللِّسَانِ، ثَقِيلَتَانِ فِي الْمِيزَانِ، حَبِيبَتَانِ إِلَى الرَّحْمَنِ: سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ وَبِحَمْدِهِ، سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ الْعَظِيمِ أسْتَغْفِرُ الله”

“There are two statements that are light for the tongue to remember, heavy in the Scales and are dear to the Merciful: Subḥāna Llāh wa biḥamdī, Subḥāna Llāh l-Adhīm, astaghfiru Llāh

[Glory be to Allah and His is the praise, (and) Allah, the Greatest is free from imperfection. I seek forgiveness from Allah].”

This is what Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam is saying, but people are thinking differently. From Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla’s generosity, He ﷻ is giving to all human beings. He ﷻ asks them to come to His ﷻ house of peace, Daru s-Salam.

These two words, Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ʿalayhi wa sallam is saying, are light on your tongue. You say, “Subḥāna Llāh wa biḥamdīhi, Subḥāna Llāh l-Adhīm, astaghfiru Llāh.” Very light. But it is very heavy on the scale on the Day of Judgment. This scale which weighs the good and bad. This makes your scale on the good side, very heavy. Very heavy.

You will be rewarded and you will be safe from the wait in this place which is very difficult. Here, people cannot wait one day, two days, or even one hour. There, they will wait for years, maybe hundred years, maybe thousand years; they will wait there. But who is making in dunyā what Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam is saying – it is very easy now to say this – on the Day of Resurrection, you will not wait at all. You will be directly going, in shā’a Llāh, to Jannah. This is our belief.

So don’t be cheated by people who don’t accept ḥadīth, and don’t accept Qur’ān. Follow what Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam is saying. He is always a Bashīr (gives good tidings) for us, in shā’a Llāh, and Nadhīr (warner) for bad people. Nadhīr means warning them, “Don’t do this, come to peace, come to Jannah, to Paradise.”

This is what Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam is saying. And it is very easy to save yourself from waiting for years, hundred years, thousand years. Only follow Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam and be safe, in shā’a Llāh. In dunyā also, you will be safe. In ākhirah, the most important is not to – al-ḥamdu liLlāh, when you are following ṭarīqah, mashāyikh, you will be safe. But to be (more) quicker to Paradise, in shā’a Llāh, make what Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam advised us. It is not difficult. May Allāh ﷻ help us. May Allāh ﷻ make us not to wait; directly to Jannah, in shā’a Llāh. Wa min Allah at-Tawfiq.
