Bismi Llāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm

Our Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam says, “There are two matters that are in the knowledge of Allāh ﷻ.” Do not believe people who say, “I know this, I know that.”
One is the human soul. The soul is under the command of Allāh ﷻ. Only He ﷻ knows. Now, sometimes there are people who call themselves scholars. They describe the soul.
They are not scholars, they are ignorant. Because, Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla says, ‘قُلِ الرُّوحُ مِنْ أَمْرِ رَبِّي’, ‘Quli r-Rūĥu Min ‘Amri Rabbī’, ‘The soul is by command of my Lord.’ (Qur’ān 17:85).
It is by the command of Allāh ﷻ, it is from the knowledge of Allāh ﷻ. Our Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam said the same thing.
Indeed, our Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam tells the commands of Allāh ﷻ anyways. No one knows this. How it is, what it does, etc. No one knows it except Allāh ﷻ.
The second is destiny. No one knows the destiny except Allāh ﷻ. How it is, what it is, etc. Destiny is our life.
Whatever your destiny is, you live with it, and with it you go to ākhirah. Destiny is also one of Allāh’s ﷻ secrets.
Therefore, when something happens, we must submit to destiny. If it is good, it is good. And if it is bad, it is the same. They say a person lives whatever their destiny is. Their destiny cannot be prevented.
With Allāh’s knowledge, our Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam says, with sadaqah it may be prevented. But it may also happen.
After that, you live a life, you get married, you divorce, you go, you come. All of this is your destiny. After that destiny happens, don’t blame others, don’t find fault with others. This is Allāh’s ﷻ will.
It’s destiny, it’s preordained. It’s happened, it’s passed. You can’t change it even if you do something. It’s better to submit because it came from Allāh ﷻ, accept it and be pleased.
If you rebel, you’ll lose your reward and harm yourself. Something has happened. This is the essence of ṭarīqah. This is a must for all people also.
But “Awāmu n-nās”, what we mean by “Awāmu n-nās” is the common people who are unaware of the ṭarīqah, religion, and īmān. They find fault with others.
This is the work of what is most commonly called “democracy” in the world now. Rebelling, not allowing people to agree to anything, that’s one thing. Politics is another.
Something has already been done and has passed. Rebel as much as you want, act as much as you want. You don’t harm anyone but yourself. That’s your own destiny. Be content with it. Submit and obey Allāh ﷻ.
We must make du’ā’, “This has come from You. Give us the reward of this,” asking Allāh ﷻ to grant us the best. That’s what matters.
These matters are important. Mankind’s life is like this. There’s the soul, and there’s destiny. You must not interfere with them; you must know that they are from Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla, and you must submit.
May Allāh ﷻ help us all. May our destiny be good, and may our ending be good; that’s what’s important. Wa min Allāh at-Tawfiq.
Al-Fatiha.
