Shukr to Allāh ﷻ, we came to this holy place again. We came to our dargāh, to our Shaykh, to the beloved servants of Allāh ﷻ. It was meant to happen in the occasion of this holy month of Mawlid. Everything happens by kismet. Who have it in their kismet come to such places. Who are not meant to will not reach, as something or a reason happens by the will of Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla.
Shukr to Allāh ﷻ, we were meant to come and attain barakah. Especially, the barakah of the month of birth of our Holy Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam will be upon us in shā’a Llāh, who came and who couldn’t but whose hearts are here. They were not meant to come here, but according to their intentions, Allāh ﷻ will give thawāb, rewards, beauty barakah and everything in their hearts in shā’a Llāh.
Certainly, this month is the month of the birth of our Holy Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam. And there is his ﷺ birthday in it. That day for humanity is – Just like they count before and after the birth of ‘Īsā ‘alayhi s-salām, the main one for humanity is before and after our Holy Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam. His ﷺ arrival to this world was a great mercy for humanity. Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla says, “We sent you as mercy to all worlds.”
Therefore, that holy day is important. It is a very important day for us. It is said in Mawlīd Sharīf, the day of Mawlid is equivalent to Laylatu l-Qadr. It is almost the same. Why? Because when our Holy Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam came here, Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla shook all kufr and everything false like an eathquake in order to show a lesson for people. He ﷻ made an earthquake and destroyed them. That is the sign of destruction of kufr.
Fire worshipped by Zoroastrians which had been burning for thousands years was extinguished that night. They got confused and surpised. And then Ṭāq Kisrā was ruined. Many other strange things happened that night. They mention 3-5 events but thousands of things happened that night.
On the night when our Holy Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam was born, because of the power of Islām, because of the majesty and greatness of our Holy Prophet ﷺ, kufr and the base of everything was shaken. They started to break down. Even though they seem to stand, their pillars are rotten. Next to the greatness of our Holy Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam, they will be ruined. At last, there will be no kufr in this world in shā’a Llāh.
There are some confused people who say whether Mawlid day is okay or not. They do all kinds of mistakes and don’t say anything to that. But when you celebrate Mawlid, read Qur’ān, honor our Holy Prophet ﷺ, they get angry. Shayṭān has cheated them. He deprives them from thawāb. Shukr to Allāh ﷻ, our greatest worship and obedience is to honor our Holy Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam, to show respect and to follow his ﷺ way. This is wājib and farḍ for us.
They say it is farḍ. Ahlu s-Sunnah wa-l-Jamā‘ah, ‘ālims, ‘ulamā’ and Awliyā’ accept this thing. Those who don’t accept that are misled. They are cheated by shayṭān. They are cheated by the followers of shayṭān. Those who don’t believe in this honor; we can’t say they are poor. They are cheated.
What can you do? May Allāh ﷻ improve them. May Allāh ﷻ give their mind understanding. Shukr to Allāh ﷻ, those people, the cheated people return to the right way most of the time. As they return, they bring the cheated ones as well to the right way. They say “We didn’t know about this jewel all these years. We hold it in our hands but carry it as a stone; whereas it contains so many jewels inside it.”
By the wisdom of Allāh ﷻ, He ﷻ gives guidance to some. And they are guiding others in shā’a Llāh for the honor of Mawlid. Many people are cheated. Because there are many people who know Islām without honoring our Holy Prophet ﷺ. May Allāh ﷻ give guidance to them in shā’a Llāh. Because no matter few or many, shayṭān is happier when he cheats more people.
May Allāh ﷻ save them from his hands. May they come to the right way for the honor of our Holy Prophet ﷺ. May Allāh ﷻ bless these days for all of us. May Allāh ﷻ give His ﷻ barakah to us. May He ﷻ increase love in our hearts in shā’a Llāh for our Holy Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam.
