Proud to Be His ﷺ Ummah

Bismi Llāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm

Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla is always honouring our Holy Prophet ﷺ in Qur’ān by saying, “You have the highest morals”.

‘وَإِنَّكَ لَعَلَىٰ خُلُقٍ عَظِيمٍ’

‘Wa-innaka la-‘alá khuluqin ‘aẓīm’

‘And indeed, you are of a great moral character.’

The best character, the best nature belongs to our Holy Prophet ﷺ. Allāh ﷻ testifies about it. There is nothing and no one greater, more beneficial or more merciful towards people. In the presence of Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla the highest rank, the highest level belongs to our Holy Prophet ﷺ. 

To follow his ﷺ way is a great honor, a great virtue. Everything he ﷺ did is Sunnah. All the actions of our Holy Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam are Sunnah. A person who performs them is a human. The more he performs them, the more his humanity increases.

Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla also gives thawāb of 100 shahīds to people who perform beautiful Sunnah of our Holy Prophet ﷺ at the end of times. Our Holy Prophet ﷺ says, “مَنْ أَحْيَا سُنَّتي عِنْدَ فَسَادِ أُمَّتي فَلَهُأَجْرُ مائة شَهِيدٍ”,“He who performs my Sunnah when my people are in a corrupt state will have the reward of a hundred martyrs”. 

We are in the time when the Ummah has become completely spoilt. There are all kinds of disorder at this time. Even the best person has certainly made mistakes. And the biggest mistake is to forget Allāh ﷻ.

If people don’t forget, they won’t make mistakes and there won’t be disorder. But our Holy Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam says that our time is difficult time. It is not and easy time. And based on hardship, we receive more rewards.

For every Sunnah – thawāb of 100 shahīd. Our Holy Prophet ﷺ was asked, “Which shahīds?” Shahīds from ṣaḥābah. They are so high. For following the way of our Holy Prophet ﷺ, Allāh ﷻ gives so many rewards and thawāb. It is not an easy matter.

Therefore, we should perform Sunnah of our Holy Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam as much as we can. There are many Sunnahs, some of which may be hard to perform. But some are so easy that you get surprised, like things we do in our daily lives.

When you do them with the intention of Sunnah of our Holy Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam you earn both thawāb and rewards and they are not difficult. As we said, shukr to Allāh ﷻ, we are living in this time. We shouldn’t complain. It is difficult but Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla is helping.

Same with us. We didn’t ask for this maqām. It has been seven years since Mawlānā is gone. Allāhﷻ is helping. No complaints. Brothers and guests, whoever is coming, inshā’Allāh everything is easy not because of us but with their Himmah and help. Nothing is difficult.

This should be known; when people remember Allāh ﷻ, remember our Holy Prophet ﷺ, remember Awliyā’, these things are easy. With their help, Madad and Himmah, all our work is easy with the permission of Allāh ﷻ. They give us power and beauty. No matter how difficult the condition of the world is, we don’t care with permission of Allāh ﷻ.

Turkish people don’t care if the world burns away. Just like Sayyidinā Ibrāhīm ‘alayhi s-salām, Allāhﷻ will protect us in the middle of fire and will show it as paradise inshā’Allāh.
