Bismi Llāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm

لاَ يَتَمَنَّى أَحَدُكُمُ الْمَوْتَ
“None of you should wish for death.”
[Ḥadīth]
Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla says, don’t ask for death. Of course, when people become overwhelmed – many people now, may Allāh ﷻ protect us, let alone desiring death, they commit suicide. That is a grave mistake, a grave fault. It is a grave sin.
Its punishment, may Allāh ﷻ protect us, that person suffers the same pain of committing suicide until the Day of Judgment. May Allāh ﷻ protect us.
Therefore, Mawlānā Shaykh Nāẓim says, “A person’s reciting La ilāha illa Allāh Muhammadun RasuluLlah while alive is better than a thousand years in the grave.” So you must know the value of the life you live. Saying, “I wish I were dead,” because you are bored is not smart, it is not good.
When a believer experiences hardship, it is a test from Allāh ﷻ. This too has its reward and thawāb. Nothing goes in vain for a believer. Nothing goes in vain for those who believe in Allāh ﷻ.
For those who do not believe in Allāh ﷻ, who do not know Allāh ﷻ, and who do not accept Allāh ﷻ, let them live as long as they want and try to prolong their lives as much as they want.
Let them try to prolong their lives by committing all kinds of evil, dirtiness and oppression. It is of no benefit to them. All they do is sin upon sin, sin upon sin. Their punishment, may Allāh ﷻ protect them, is Hell, eternal Hell.
Therefore, you must know the value of this life. You must not waste it in vain. As Mawlānā said, saying La ilaha illa Allāh is better than lying under earth for a thousand years. May Allāh ﷻ protect people from the evil of their own egos.
The evil of the ego, the evil of shayṭān is so great that there are people who, despite knowing this is a sin, try to commit it. May Allāh ﷻ protect us. May Allāh ﷻ protect us from the ocean of confusion, in shā’a Llāh. Wa min Allah Tawfiq, al-Fatiha.
There are recited Khatms, ayāt, surahs, Yasin, salawat, tahlilāt, takbirāt, khatms of Dalā’il Al-Khayrāt, Khatms of Qur’an. May Allāh ﷻ accept their acts of worship. May whatever good goals those who’ve read have be fulfilled. For our Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam, for the souls of his Ahlu l-Bayt and ṣaḥābah.
For the souls of all prophets, Awliyā’, asfiya, mashāyikh, especially our Shaykh, Mawlānā Shaykh Nāẓim. For the souls of our ancestors. For the souls of all believers and Muslims. For goodness to come and the evil to be warded off. Li-Llahi Ta’ala.
Al-Fatiha.
