[Mawlanaق speaks about Shah Mardan, Sayyidina ʿAliر, the Lion of Allah, whose Mawlid is in Rajab, and about the blessed Month of Allah ﷻ and the Night of Ragha’ib.]

As-salaamu ʿalaykum, O those who are present. O loyal friends of Shah Mardan, welcome, welcome. Holy and honoured, we have come to the month of Rajab with goodness and mercy. May Allah ﷻ clothe us with its goodness. Our way is through sohbah. The real purpose of sohbah is to instruct and teach adab.

Let us listen to Shah Mardan. We shall listen to Shah Mardan, the Lion of Allah Dhul-Jalal. We shall learn adab.

Today is an honoured day, the first day of the honoured month of Rajab. Shahrullah is a month of divine blessing. The salam of today is different. May Allah ﷻ give us strength, give us love, give us faith, give us happiness, give us pleasure, give us honor and nearness.

Shah Mardan is saying, today is an honoured day. Know its value. Say to one another, “Be blessed.” When we say, “Be blessed,” blessing descends upon us, discomfort leaves us, and our honour rises. We are not after earthly ranks. We seek the pleasure and guidance of Shah Mardan.

O loyal friends, be blessed in this Month of Allah ﷻ. May its blessings descend upon us. At the Divine Court, Shah Mardan and those like him are honoured servants. O human being, if you join their convoy, you too will be honoured.

O Shah Mardan, Beloved of ar-Rahman. Sayyidina ʿAliر, beloved of the Prophet ﷺ and honored by Allah ﷻ, stands among the great. The holy month we awaited has arrived, the month of Allah ﷻ. Shah Mardan says, seek its blessing.

Shah Mardan is not for one group alone. He is for the entire Ummah of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. He is the crown upon our heads and must be honoured. He is dressed in the attribute of al-Hayy, clothed with the divine, celestial dresses of the Heavens, robed in the garments of the skies.

The Prophet ﷺ called Shah Mardan, Sayyidina ʿAliر, the Lion of Allah ﷻ.

Shah Mardan is saying, first of all, let us say As-salaamu ʿalaykum. Be in safety. A prayer made by a believer for another believer is never lost. This is a beautiful instruction.

That is why praying for one another is an order of Janab-ul Rabbul ʿIzzah (Allah ﷻ) and a teaching declared to the Beloved ﷺ. Good prayers for each other are accepted. Sometimes what is not suitable for us is suitable for another.

O loyal friends of Shah Mardan, let us say, Bismillahi r-Rahmani r-Rahim. This basmalah is a garment of honour for the Ummah of Muhammad ﷺ. Allah ﷻ, the Creator of the Heavens and the Earth, granted it as a magnificent cloak for His servants, saying, “Wear it.”

On special days, someone goes to buy clothes for his children for Eid, to buy Eid clothes. May Allah ﷻ grant us real Eids. Holding our hands, they were taking us to the market. They would get the clothes for our height, for our age, for our strength. We would be dressed according to our height, wearing suitable clothes with care and love. According to our condition, buying this for our children, wishing they may be happy.

In the same way, on holy days Janab-ul Rabbul ʿIzzah is dressing His ﷻ servants in suitable and honourable garments.

Know this. Rajab is the month of Allah ﷻ. It is our great Eid. When believers honour this month, angels hold us by the hands and clothe us with the heavenly cloak of prosperity. This is why, on Eid and holy days, people would dress their children to complete their joy.

Now, on Eid, whom do we honour? The Prophet of the End of Times ﷺ. We are greeting the Beloved of Allah ﷻ. In this month is the Night of Ragha’ib. On this night from the heavenly realm to this realm, he ﷺ came to his mother’s womb by divine permission.

On the Night of Ragha’ib, all existence and all the angels celebrated Eid. The Heavens and the Earth rejoiced.

Let us look at the earth. The earth became the base for human beings, a place where they live, decide, and remain for a time. The earth is so huge. From the beginning of the world to its end, even if all people gathered together, they would not fill one continent.

But Shah Mardan is asking, what is the wisdom in this?

A sultan is called great because his dominion is vast. Whoever has a vast dominion is called great. Man has been dressed with the cloak of magnificence. Allah ﷻ designated and honoured him by saying, “My representative.” Understand the weight of this trust.

Today is Rajab, the Month of Allah ﷻ’s Eid. It is Eid for the Ummah. This month is a magnificent month. Of the three months, the greatest is Rajab, Shahrullah. Then comes Shaʿban, the month of the Prophet ﷺ, and then Ramadan, the month of the Ummah.

In Rajab, the Holy Month of Allah ﷻ, one banner descends from Heaven. Those who are rejoicing this month, who show respect for Allah ﷻ’s month of Rajab Sharif, there is one great banner in the first level of Heaven under which they are being greeted with honour.

Janab-ul Rabbul ʿIzzah watches the greetings of believers to one another. This is the month of Allah ﷻ, a month of celebration and honour not heedlessness.

Beginning from the first day of Rajab, the Month of Allah ﷻ, till Sha’ban, Allahu Dhu l-Jalal presented this holy month as Eid. The month of Rajab is Eid for the Ummah. Holy, for Allah ﷻ, to honour Allah ﷻ.

O believers of the Ummah of Muhammad ﷺ, for the love of Allah ﷻ and for the love of Shah Mardan, stop harming one another and uphold what Allah ﷻ has made sacred.

This month is the month of Allah ﷻ, not a time for destruction. Who does not give honour is not taking care to honour Allah ﷻ.

Allah ﷻ says, “Do not kill one another.”
And the Prophet ﷺ said, “Whoever revives my Sunnah revives me.”

Repent and say, “We made mistakes. Forgive us, O Allah.” The door of repentance is open. Rajab has come.

Run to the banner of the Prophet ﷺ. Run to the banner of Shah Mardan. There is only one banner on the Day of Judgment, Liwa’ al-Hamd, and all Prophets (AS) will gather beneath it.

O Allah ﷻ, give us wellness and health. O Allah ﷻ, give us faith. O Allah ﷻ, give us love. O Allah ﷻ, make us obedient. O Allah ﷻ, give us servanthood.

O our Lord ﷻ, laka l-hamd. All praise is Yours. Send us Your righteous servants. May our faces be bright, may our hearts be pure. May we stand among those of honour at Your Court and be gathered under the banner of Your Habib ﷺ.

All Prophets (AS) will gather to get under the banner of the Sultan of the Prophets ﷺ on the Day of Judgment. First, we should strive to be under that banner. There is only one banner. There is Liwa ul-Hamd. On the Last Day we will all run to it.

Angels will reject many people. O Allah ﷻ, do not make us among those who are rejected. Shah Mardan is saying, O Ummah of Muhammad ﷺ, prepare yourselves. The consequences of evil deeds will not end with this life. There will be accountability in the grave and on the Day of Judgement. O Humans, look after the honour of Man.

Rajab Shahrullah shall be blessed for all of us. May we get stronger, more eager. All Humanity should run to get under the flag of al-Habib ﷺ.

Everyone should listen to these words. These are the words that Shah Mardan is telling every morning. Listen and be saved.

We are from the Ummah of Muhammad ﷺ. This is our Honour. Al-Hamdu lillah wa Shukru lillah. Say every day a hundred times, Shukr Ya Rabbi, for You chose us as the Ummah of Muhammad ﷺ.
