Bismi Llāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm

“وَلَقَدْ كَرَّمْنَا بَنِي آدَمَ وَحَمَلْنَاهُمْ فِي الْبَرِّ وَالْبَحْرِ”
(Qur’ān 17:70)
“Wa Laqad Karramna Bani Adam wa Hamalnahum fi l-Barri wal Bahri”
“And We have certainly honored the children of Adam and carried them on the land and sea.” Ṣadaqa Llāhu l-‘Aẓīm.
Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla honored mankind. Mankind is honorable in the sight of Allāh ﷻ. Mankind is a precious being, but he does not know his value. So when you do worthless things, you have no worth left yourself. It is of no use. When one goes to other ways, when he leaves the way of Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla and goes to other places thinking he will receive favors, he finds nothing there. Mankind finds nothing but deception and cheating. If he is on the true way, the way of Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla, he attains every favor and beautiful thing. If he leaves that way and goes to other ways thinking he will be favored. That all happens as personal interest. It’s nothing but personal interest.
The religion of Islām has honored mankind. It has given him value. It has appreciated his efforts. Our Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam says, give the worker his money and wage before his sweat dries. At that time, one thousand four hundred years ago, nothing had any value. They were forced to work or taken as slaves. Then, they would hardly get any compensation for their work. Even then, since the law of Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla is for mankind, that law is has been the same from pre-existence, since mankind was created. It has been to honor mankind.
Mankind is an honorable being. He must know his value. He should be make shukr to the Creator. He should make shukr for everything He ﷻ has given him. Not one day a year, he should make shukr every day. What they say is once a year is only to deceive people; nothing else. Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla has honored us all the time. Mankind must know its value. They must not leave the way and rebel following other people’s words. Those on the way find their way. Those who stray from the way are in danger. May Allāh ﷻ protect us.
People always follow worldly people for dunyā and interests. When something happens somewhere, just for worldly interests, they claim that this will harm them and become jealous. They strive to destroy the others and eliminate them. They eat each other. Islām is not like that. Islām is brotherhood. It is sharing everything and giving the rights. Rights are very important in Islām. The right of the servant is the greatest right. It is greater than the right of Allāh ﷻ.
Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla says, “I forgive.” But the right of the servant must be forgiven by the servant himself. He must seek forgiveness from him. Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla is Forgiving and Merciful. Mankind is not like that. It might be that mankind doesn’t forgive you. Then, it will be difficult for you. If you repent, ask Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla for forgiveness, and not violate anyone’s right, you will be saved. But if you violate people’s rights, it is dangerous.
May Allāh ﷻ protect us. May we not violate anyone’s rights. May we not waste anyone’s efforts, in shā’a Llāh. May Allāh ﷻ preserve our efforts. May He ﷻ make it valuable, in shā’a Llāh. Wa min Allah at-Tawfiq.
