(Qur’ān 33:45–46)
“Yā ‘Ayyuhā An-Nabīyu ‘Innā’Arsalnāka Shāhidāan Wa Mubashshirāan Wa Nadhīrāan (45) Wa Dā`īāan ‘Ilá Allāhi Bi’idhnihiWa Sirājāan Munīrāan”
“O Prophet, indeed We have sent you as a witness and a bringer of good tidings and a warner (45) And one who invites to Allah, by His permission, and an illuminating lamp.” Ṣadaqa Llāhu l-‘Aẓīm.
Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla glorifies and honors our Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam. He ﷻ says, “We sent you.” Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla sent our Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam as mercy to people. He ﷻ sent him ﷺ as light, as goodness to people. All kinds of barakah and goodness, the most beautiful happens for his ﷺ honor and sake. His ﷺ way is the way of light.
He who does not go on his ﷺ way will be in misery. He who does not honor him ﷺ is in error. He ﷻ says, “No matter how much you honor him ﷺ, do so.” Imam Al-Busayri says in Qasidat Al-Burdah, “As long as you do not claim what the Christians say about their prophet, praise him ﷺ and commend him ﷺ as much as you like.”
There is no limit to praising our Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam. Love what shayṭān dislikes. What shayṭān dislikes is praising, honoring and loving our Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam. This is what he dislikes. He deceives people saying, “You are making a mistake. No one but Allāh ﷻ may be glorified and praised.”
Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla has honored our Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam. He ﷻ has commanded us to do so, “Honor him ﷺ. Love him ﷺ. Respect him ﷺ.” Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla says, “I created everything for his ﷺ sake.” If people do not honor him ﷺ, they are ungrateful. If a Muslim does not honor him ﷺ, they will suffer a great loss. It would be dangerous. It would be a danger to his īmān.
Those who didn’t honor him ﷺ never had good endings. Their ways ended and were finished. Shayṭān makes up other ways. But their main ways have never continued. Of course, shayṭān never stops. But also, the believer never stops from honoring our Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam.
Therefore, this blessed day was given for the sake of our Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam. This is the greatest day for his ﷺ Ummah, the day of Friday. The day with the most rewards. The day beloved by Allāh ﷻ is Friday. And it was given to our Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam and it was given to his ﷺ nation. Shukr to Allāh ﷻ.
We must be grateful for the blessings so that they may increase. The greatest blessing Allāh ﷻ has given is īmān, the love of our Prophet ﷺ. This is the greatest blessing for us, shukr to Allāh ﷻ. May Allāh ﷻ always make it perpetual. May Allāh ﷻ not separate us from the way in shā’a Llāh. Wa min Allahi tawfeeq, al-Fatiha.
There are recited Qur’an Khatms, Ayāt, Surahs, Yasin, Tasbihāt, Tahlilāt, Salawat, Dalā’il al-Khayrāt. They have entrusted all these beautiful and things beloved to Allāh ﷻ, the word of Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla, salawāt of our Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam. We gift them firstly to our Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam, his ﷺ Ahlu l-Bayt and ṣaḥābah, souls of all Anbiya, Awliya, Asfiya.
To the souls of our Mashayikh. To the souls of all our passed ones. To the souls of all Muslims and Mu’mins. May they receive them, in shā’a Llāh. May whatever goals those who recited have be reached. For the strength of our īmān. For happiness here and hereafter. Li-Llahi Ta’āla.
