Follow Me ﷺ, Allah ﷻ Will Love You

Bismi Llāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm:
قُلْ إِن كُنتُمْ تُحِبُّونَ اللَّهَ فَاتَّبِعُونِي يُحْبِبْكُمُ اللَّهُ
(Qur’ān 03:31). ‘Qul in kuntum tuhibbuna Llāha fāttabi‘ūnī yuhbibkumu Llāh’, ‘Say, [O Muhammad], “If you should love Allah, then follow me, Allah will love you”.’ Sadaqa Llāhu l-‘Aẓīm.

In Qur’an ‘Azimu sh-Shan, our Holy Prophet ﷺ says, “If you love Allah ﷻ, follow me ﷺ so that Allah ﷻ loves you”. Follow the way of our Holy Prophet ﷺ and Allah ﷻ will love you. Otherwise, nothing will come out of you. When Allah ﷻ doesn’t love us, we are useless. We must strive to be from the beloved ones of Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla. Because His ﷻ love and His ﷻ affection is above everything.

Our Holy Prophet ﷺ is showing that way. That way is the way of our Holy Prophet ﷺ. Follow him ﷺ. He ﷺ says, “Follow me ﷺ. Follow my ﷺ way so that Allah ﷻ loves you”. There is not another way. But shaytan is cheating people. He says, “If you follow our Holy Prophet ﷺ, you make a partner to Allah ﷻ. Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla doesn’t want that”.

Whereas the Hadith Sharif of our Holy Prophet salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam which we read yesterday says if you don’t make Salawat even during taking ablution, your ablution is not complete. It is that delicate. We must remember our Holy Prophet salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam in everything, we must make Dhikr and Salawat to him ﷺ. We must honor him ﷺ.

Otherwise, Allah ﷻ won’t love you. Who is not loved by Allah ﷻ is loved by shaytan. Nothing else. There are two options; either this or that. There is no third option. Our Holy Prophet salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam was sent as mercy to us. Loving him ﷺ has a great virtue in the sight Allah ﷻ. Allah ﷻ loves those who love him ﷺ. And He ﷻ doesn’t love those who don’t love him ﷺ.

Shaytan has many ways of tricking people. He shows our Holy Prophet ﷺ as an ordinary person so that Allah ﷻ doesn’t love you. They say his ﷺ duty is over, he ﷺ is dead and gone. They are dead themselves. They are walking dead ones, nothing else. They are soulless. They have no soul. They are bodies and corpses without souls. The soul comes into the body of a believer with the love of our Holy Prophet salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam. Otherwise, it is something dry like wood.

May Allah ﷻ increase his ﷺ love in our hearts insha’Allah for the honor of these blessed days. May He ﷻ give guidance to people. May Allah ﷻ protect us from the tricks and traps of shaytan. May people not be cheated. Because there are many cheated ones. Unknowingly, they think they are doing something right but get cheated. May Allah ﷻ protect us all.
