Drunkards Are Who Leave His ﷻ Way

Bismi Llāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm

وَتَرَى النَّاسَ سُكَارَىٰ وَمَا هُم بِسُكَارَىٰ وَلَٰكِنَّ عَذَابَ اللَّهِ شَدِيدٌ

(Qur’ān 22:02)

“Wa Tará An-Nāsa Sukārá Wa Mā Hum Bisukārá Wa Lakinna `Adhāba Allāhi Shadīdun”

“And you shall see mankind as in a drunken state, yet they will not be drunken, but severe will be the Torment of Allah.” Ṣadaqa Llāhu l-‘Aẓīm.

This ayah Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla says in Qur’ān ‘Aẓīmu sh-Sha’n is valid for all times. The blessed and honorable word of Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla is eternal. His ﷻ words are for all times. This ayah speaks of the Day of Judgment, but it applies for every time.

People in dunyā, in the End of Times, they are like drunkards. It is said, “They are like drunkards, but they are not drunk.” But because of the situation, because of the badness of the situation, they are like drunkards.

On the Day of Judgment, it will be even more severe. But it is the same now; it is something similar. People have forgotten Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla. They are confused about what to do. They don’t know what to do. The way is in front of them, but because they are drunk, they see nothing. They don’t know what to do. They strike here, they strike there.

Yet, Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla’s way to salvation is clear. Salvation is in Islām, not in anything else. They say that those who leave that way are like drunkards. Just as a drunkard can never control themselves, so too are these people in this time.

Those who follow the right way and cling firmly to the rope of Allāh ﷻ remain firm. Others, “there’s this system here, there’s that system there,” or they make a new system according to their own minds. They think they are clever. They harm people and harm themselves the most.

Therefore, do not stray from the way of Allāh ﷻ. Follow the way of Allāh ﷻ. Fulfill the commands of Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla. The more you fulfill them, the more you will be in salvation and free from drunkenness. The drunkenness of this world is useless.

Let alone that, and as if that weren’t enough, they use all sorts of other means to intoxicate themselves even more. Those who use them not only ruin themselves but also ruin those around them. May Allāh ﷻ protect us.

If you want to be saved from evil, then embrace the way of Allāh ﷻ, be in the way of Allāh ﷻ. Be as Allāh ﷻ wants. Do not follow the path of the shayṭāns. The path they show is not the way. Their deeds are not deeds. It is of no benefit. If it were to benefit, the benefit would be for them.

May Allāh ﷻ protect Ummat Muhammad, the youth and children have been taken control of as well. They teach them all kinds of evil. They want to eliminate what you call good. But Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla will complete His ﷻ light, in shā’a Llāh. At the end of this drunkenness, there will be salvation. At the end of this darkness, there will be light, in shā’a Llāh.

May Allāh ﷻ bring those times quickly, may we see them, in shā’a Llāh. Wa min Allah at-Tawfiq.

Al-Fatiha.
