Divine Anger is knocking on our door now

A’uzubillah himinash shaitan nirrajeem

Bismillah-hir Rahman-nir Raheem

Assalamu’alaikum wrh wbkt

• Mawlana greeted attendees with As-salāmu ’alaykum wa raḥmatullāhi wa barakātuh saying that they were heavenly people (for making this Suhbah a priority). He emphasized that we must learn to take from heavenly support, and not to depend on material or worldly support. It should not surprise us to hear that unbelievers depend on their material strengths, but Mawlana said that he was sorry to see that even believers – who should be the foremost in their dependence on Allah for help in their lives – have also followed the unbelievers in abandoning their beliefs and in clinging onto something that cannot provide real support. For example, dependence on the recitation of Bismillahi ‘r-Rahmani ‘r-Rahim , which in itself is the solution to all worldly problems, is something today’s Muslims have very little faith in.

• Man has a very limited physical capacity – how far can he swim, how loud can he speak, how much can he lift? With technology, Man can accomplish previously impossible feats – with a speedboat, he can go so much further than just swimming, with a microphone and sound system, he can speak to thousands at one go, and with a crane, he can lift a million times what a man can lift with his bare hands. So it is no wonder that Man depends on and believes in material support – technology and modern gadgets. But Man is still a creature of very limited physical capacity. Only now, this limitation has been masked and overcome by technology. So Man has come to believe that technology, rather than spiritual or Divine help, can solve any problem that they face. Mawlana debunks this myth beautifully by the next example.

• Mawlana mentioned the recent events in Iceland. It has never been known to have active volcanoes, yet in the past days, a sleeping volcano has stirred to life, causing widespread mayhem, fear, panic and confusion worldwide. Who brought that volcano back to life? Why was Man, with his state-of-the-art technology, not been able to predict when it would roar back to life? Why could he not prevent this incident from happening? And if the volcano does blow its cone, is there any technology that can stop it? When Man is faced with all this uncertainty and helplessness – when he sees his material support fail him completely – only then does he come running back to spiritual support and start praying for help! 

At one time Atlantis too, existed. Where is it today, Mawlana asked? A single Divine Command had caused it to disappear from the face of this Earth. Can Man save himself or prevent Divine Anger from destroying them, with his technology?

• He who awakened the sleeping giant in Iceland, can awaken any of the thousands of dormant volcanoes across the globe in the blink of an eye:

إِنَّمَآ أَمۡرُهُ ۥۤ إِذَآ أَرَادَ شَيۡـًٔا أَن يَقُولَ لَهُ ۥ كُن فَيَكُونُ

“Verily, when He intends a thing, His command is “Be” and it is!” (Quran 36:82)

• When the volcanoes of the world are awakened by the Lord Almighty, they say in devoted obedience, “Oh our Lord, we are ready to fulfill Your command! Oh our Lord, what is Your command? Shall we do to these disobedient people like what was done to the people of Sodom and Gomorrah?” Every mountain is aware of what happened on that fateful day, when Allah’s Wrath was ignited, and He sent down a hail of brimstone and fire on the Nation Of Sayyidinā Lot (as), for they were practicing abominations (evil deeds and defiance) that had never been done by any other Nation before them, they were people who had crossed all limits.

وَتَذَرُونَ مَا خَلَقَ لَكُمۡ رَبُّكُم مِّنۡ أَزۡوَٲجِكُم‌ۚ بَلۡ أَنتُمۡ قَوۡمٌ عَادُونَ

“Nay, ye (Nation of Lot) are a people transgressing (all limits)!” (Quran 26:166)

• Each activated volcano, awaits Allah’s command to destroy such transgressors.

• Men of the End of Times, especially those from the West, are indeed mirroring the people of Sodom and Gomorrah. Like them, they are doing sins that have never been done before. The people of Sodom and Gomorrah practiced homosexuality (sodomy), and that had brought a great punishment upon them. Today, Man has gone far beyond that – the people of today are indulging in lesbianism, bestiality, necrophilia, pedophilia, rape, incest, fetishes and exhibitionism – they have also crossed all limits, without shame or fear, for their lust has made them drunk.

وَجَآءَ أَهۡلُ ٱلۡمَدِينَةِ يَسۡتَبۡشِرُونَ

“The inhabitants of the City (of Sodom and Gomorrah) came in (mad) joy (at news of the arrival of two young men).” (Quran 15:67)

• Oh Muslims, stop following the ways, the lifestyles and the beliefs of the West, for that will rouse Divine Anger against us. We must return to the Way of life of the Prophet (saw) and abandon the Western ways, for their ways are not for us, theirs are the ways of unguided ones, the ways of those who follow their lusts. We must abandon the promiscuous Western lifestyle of Sodom and Gomorrah, for such a lifestyle is the biggest reason for Heavenly Anger, said Mawlana. The Western lifestyle is a very inviting and appealing one, for it has neither rules nor boundaries. But Mawlana said that it is a very dangerous lifestyle, as it also invites Divine Revenge!

• The Lord of the Heavens is saying, “When Mankind is doing something that makes Us angry, We are going to take intikāb, Our heavenly revenge will descend upon them.”

• Mawlana said, “Beware of heavenly anger, Oh Mankind, for heavenly knowledge has reached my heart that this heavenly revenge, has reached the door of this world (it is very near)!” Allah may punish Man by sending us one of His servants, who will bring Divine Judgment to this Earth; he will act against every evil one, and not one evil person will be spared from the Divine Justice that he wields, only good ones will be left on Earth! Once Divine Punishment descends, only one out of five humans will survive the devastation; Man’s advanced gadgets (Mawlana calls them toys) can never save them when Allah’s Angels come to punish them!

• Mawlana then revealed something that has never crossed our minds before. We often view Allah’s Divine punishment or revenge as something violent – what we term a ‘natural disaster’. But Allah can send his punishment in the subtlest of ways too. For example, Mawlana said that Allah may send forgetfulness as a punishment. A man can be driving a car, and suddenly Allah may lift that knowledge of how to drive from him. That is a very dangerous thing, for it will bring a terrible end for the vehicle and its occupants.

• When Allah sends down Divine Punishment, it is not a random process, as if, if you happened to be at the wrong place at the wrong time, you may be destroyed by that disaster. No! It is not random, each person who is to receive punishment, will receive it, for it is the Angels that bring down these Divine punishments, and they can see which faces of the Children of Adam have Light (and who will be spared and saved), and which faces have Darkness from Jahannam (and who will be punished). {Do refer to Summary of suhbah dated 15/04/10 to find out how to acquire illuminated/glowing faces}

• Mawlana advised us to do the following, so as to be protected from His Wrath.

• We must depend on heavenly support, not on material support.
• We must listen to Divine teachings, and obey as much as possible.
• We must leave the decadent Western way of life.
• We must stop following the lifestyle of the people of Sodom and Gomorrah.
• We must repent by reciting Astaghfirullāh always.
• We must lift our hands in prayer to Allah, ask for Him to send us a Guide who will lead us to His pleasure. Say, “Oh our Lord! Send us a Guide who will save us from Shayṭān and Shayṭāntic tricks and traps. Oh our Lord, we are running to You, away from Shayṭān and its followers. Oh our Lord, accept our intijāh, our plea, we are begging to be in Your heavenly Mercy Oceans, to save ourselves! We are weak servants. Send us a powerful one, one who will save us, one who fears none except You!”
• We must strive with all our might to make Allah pleased with us, for when He is pleased, we are safe from His Wrath!
• We must be amongst those who make prostration (sajdah), for the faces of those who do not perform ṣalat (prayer) will be filled with Darkness from Hell, they will never escape His Punishment.
