Shukr to Allah ﷻ, today insha’Allah, in the month of holy Rabi ul-Awwal and on the occasion of Mawlid we will go to Maqam of Mawlana Shaykh Nazim. Mawlana Shaykh Nazim showed respect to the occasion of Mawlid every year when he was alive. It has a special place in our hearts. It has a special place in the hearts of Muslims. We must not forget it.
The light came to worlds, to this world and to the universe on that day. The light had existed before as well. But this world was honored and blessed with the birth of our Holy Prophet ﷺ physically. Otherwise, it had no value.
The value of this world comes about with valuable ones. They say,
شرف المكان ِبالمكين
“The honor of the place is with the one who is there.” This is a beautiful saying. Therefore, insha’Allah this is a gift from Mawlana Shaykh Nazim to our brothers and Muslims. Because gathering there and making Dhikr of Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla, showing respect to our Holy Prophet ﷺ is something done for the pleasure of Allah ﷻ, And Allah ﷻ will give its reward.
There are many stupid people who say it is Bid’ah. They do various mistakes and commit sins, and that is nothing. But when you say Allah ﷻ, it becomes Bid’ah. When you make Salawat on our Holy Prophet ﷺ, it becomes Bid’ah.
They are unlucky people, unfortunately. Those who listen and pay attention to them are unlucky too. May Allah ﷻprotect us. Don’t be doubtful. Who has doubts is shaytan. Shaytan makes Waswasa and spoils people’s hearts.
Our religion, the religion of Islam is respecting our Holy Prophet ﷺ and honoring our Holy Prophet ﷺ. Nothing else. Those who do other things and don’t do these are in danger. They don’t have Iman anyway. They are Muslim in words.
Our Holy Prophet ṣalláLlāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam says there are such people, they’ve learnt Qur’an by heart and know everything. But what they read doesn’t go below their throats. It doesn’t reach their hearts.
It is only in their mouths. We must not be like them. How must we be? If you show respect to our Holy Prophet ﷺ and honor our Holy Prophet ﷺ, if you know just the three“Qul” [Ikhlas, Nas, Falaq], you are better than them. You will have Iman in your heart.
May Allah ﷻ give that Iman to all of us. And may He ﷻ give it to other people insha’Allah. Because Muslims wish goodness to others as well. Muslims want goodness for others. And goodness is to believe in Allah ﷻ and to honor our Holy Prophet ﷺ. May Allah ﷻ bless this month.
May we celebrate it next year even better, with victory to Islam, with Mahdi ‘alayhi s-salam insha’Allah. May Allah ﷻ grant us this insha’Allah.
