Being The Means Of Guidance

A‘ūdhu BiLlāhi Minash-shayṭāni r-rajīm. BismiLlāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm.

Our Holy Prophet ﷺ is saying that bringing a person to the right way is better than Dunya for you. Many people have Dunya in their minds, and they run after Dunya in this world. They have forgotten about Akhirah. Some don’t believe at all. Therefore, if you show the right way to someone, and he reaches guidance through you, Allah ﷻ has granted you a great profit. If that person joins the way of Allah ﷻ, Allah ﷻ gives you a great reward. Even if this world is a tiny place, oh what things you can do! You attain something better than this world. Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla has promised you this and will give it to you, as you brought someone to guidance, as you showed someone the right way, as you put him to the right way.

Therefore, a person who does this must be happy. He should not think about other things. No matter if that person prays one time or five times, if he does everything incompletely or fully; however it is, he has joined the way and is going on it. He is going on the way of Allah ﷻ. So may Allah ﷻ give him peace. You get happy with it. And you make Shukr when he doesn’t go astray. Allah ﷻ has meant for us to be the means for that person. So you must say “Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla gave us this beauty” and make Shukr. Don’t think about anything else. Dunya, this and that; “I will benefit from it. He has joined this way. I will get some worldly benefit out of it.” Don’t bring this to your mind. It will ruin the whole thing. You still attain Thawab but your rank will go much lower than the rank of doing it purely for Allah ﷻ.

We must show the way to people with goodness and beauty as much as we can. We must help those who join the way to keep on it. When we mislead them out of the way, the things you attain, things given to you by Allah ﷻ – If they run away from the way because of you, you will miss this great benefit and great profit.

May they come through you. Be a door for them to enter through. Don’t look at another side. When you show this way and they join it, may they keep on it. May they keep on the way of Allah ﷻ. May the way of Allah ﷻ be your way. May Allah ﷻ help us, because people are in need.

Shaytan doesn’t like it when people come to the way. He wants to mislead as many people as possible. And he always strives to deprive people who do goodness from that goodness. Do not obey shaytan. Make Shukr to Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla for being given this favor. One person, two persons, five persons or ten persons; the more people come to the right way through you, the more rewards Allah ﷻ will give you. 

May Allah ﷻ give this to all of you. May the way of guidance be given through you insha’Allah.
